I remember being a 16 year old kid listening to Arrivals & Departures when I had to get an MRI of all things, or on my mom's computer with When Broken Is Easily Fixed and Discovering The Waterfront playing on WMP. It is absolutely insane to think that 20 years has come and gone that fast. I'm thankful for the music over the years that I've been absolutely lucky enough to experience.
I’m 32 but same been listening to them since I was 14. Crazy how music helps us through hard times and makes the good times even better. Just always loved Silverstein. They never released an album where I moved on from them. Unlike other bands.
I saw a video that said ten reasons why people hate Silverstein and I almost bought a ticket to go slap the creator side ways. We love Silverstein and the band helps me get through life everyday. I enjoy playing the music on my guitar and want to master every song
Am I the only one here that has known them since their first album ? I was 12 lol. Now I’m 30. They were my first show, them and The Academy Is and Fallout Boy when they were you know, good lol.
It's called second hand embarrassment for him being so badly out of pitch, missing countless notes, and his voice just being a complete disaster any time he attempts anything with any actual projection.
@closinginonclosure You’re crazy. He doesn’t have to sound JUST LIKE in studio to be good. He kills it here and anytime live, Shane’s the Post-Hardcore G.O.A.T.
Wow 😲 what a nice music bro is so sad that Im just listening all these masters pieces 3 years after! Just because the TH-cam algorithm recommend me this video isn the right time ❤❤❤❤ I just love it 🙏🙏🙏🙏 gob bless you man thanks for sharing your talent when us🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Crazy to grow up with a bands music and have memories at different timelines that every song/album brings me back to. I remember being 13 and listening to their music on MySpace. I’m 32 now and I still have their stuff on my playlist. This video is also awesome it’s helped me when play a couple of their songs much better (acoustic version).
I met you at warped tour one year, back in the day when that was a thing. I still have your autographs! Long time fan here and I just have to say you sound amazing live! Even here with just the acoustic and that’s not easy to do! 👏🏻 Amazing!!
My business has been open throughout covid but I own a auto repair shop Shane’s right I couldn’t imagine working as a cashier you literally are in contact with so many people. There’s a small supermarket near my house that put up the plexiglass and only accept card so they didn’t have contact and customers need to bag themselves but they are still touching the items.
half step down... intro C#5 B5 A, C#5 B5 A, then right before he starts singing, C#5 A F#5 Emajor, C#5 A F#5 Emajor, C#5 A F#5 Emajor A, chorus,... B5 C#5 A#7 C#5 B5 A, then repeat all of that after. this almost all the chords, watch vide as you play to learn pattern. hope it helps. ps guitartuna app will help you compose the notes into chords!!!!
I feel bad for the small bands that were doing their thing touring in a van getting paid 60 bucks a night then the country shuts down and can’t even get a job because everything is closed. I’m from Rochester which is basically south of Toronto and we already lost a bunch of venues before the shut down one of them “water street music hall” really hit home because it was the scene venue all the good bands played there punk, hardcore, metalcore, post hardcore, bands played there you could go there on a Tuesday night and there was always something going on there, I played a ton of shows there and it was turned into a restaurant last time I checked. I’m sure Silverstein has played there it’s only a few hour drive from Toronto.
Him saying "thank you" at the end of the songs shows how much of a mindless and meaningless thing it is when singers say "thank you" in front of actual crowds in person. They'd typically say thank you for the applause and participation after a song. But for some reason he's saying it with absolutely nobody there. Is he thanking himself? 🤔 Really weird stuff.

It’s wild to think I’ll be 37 this year and I’ve been listening and loving Silverstein for more than half my life.
Thank you for this.
I’m 32 but same been listening to them since I was 14. Crazy how music helps us through hard times and makes the good times even better. Just always loved Silverstein. They never released an album where I moved on from them. Unlike other bands.
I LOVE YOU IM A BIG FAN FROM THE PHILIPPINES ❤
The song “My Heroine” got me into this type of music with growl etc. Still one of my favorite songs.
I saw a video that said ten reasons why people hate Silverstein and I almost bought a ticket to go slap the creator side ways. We love Silverstein and the band helps me get through life everyday. I enjoy playing the music on my guitar and want to master every song

Nope 34 now. Still my favorite band. I'm from the hammer. Seen them in Burlington so many times.
Fall out boy was never good
@@joey_rogers you were never good
32 now there's million others in their 30s loving them since high school
does anyone else smile uncontrollable when he sings
It's called second hand embarrassment for him being so badly out of pitch, missing countless notes, and his voice just being a complete disaster any time he attempts anything with any actual projection.

Never going to stop singing along, Shane.
This is how the wind shifts is the most unappreciated album by them
I’d say I am alive in everything i touch is even more overlooked but they both really are.
@@hotmilkwill I'd personally say Resuce is
@@hotmilkwill rescue, alive in everything, and dare i say arrivals & departures. They all have some quality songs. I love every release.
Yeah man. I love that they play Massachusetts, Stand amid the roar and On brave mountains we conquer pretty often live.
Its my most appreciated. hot take

Puta que es buena aquamarine! Temazo!

39:00 Pretty dope how Shane can play the riffs and sing not strum! Not that it matters if he can or not just cool he can!
Man replace you is so deep I’ve related it to when my ex and I were crumbling it was like damn Shane wanted me to hear this
The person who disliked HAD to do that by accident, also where was this streamed
Holy shit :)
What version of “Taylor” guitar is that?….anyone know?
There should be a CLAP button!
Your cat is cute
Is his guitar a 1/2 step down?

I thought you gonna play “California “, bad you didn’t
anybody else think he kinda looks like Ricky Martin in this video :DDDD lololololololololol
8:24 - to all the haters lol

Have I been pronouncing Silverstein wrong all this time (Silverstine) 😅
awesome but i think he should tune his guitar half a step down
giving up ???
Oi!
The cracks in his voice are difficult many times
Dads drunk again on zoom
1:20 Did he say "massive jew zits" "mass of jew zits" "massive cheez its" or "mastiffs chew shit"? 🤔
Oh, maybe it's "masked as she sits"?
