I like how you use yarn for the hair. It's different and unusual, but in a good way. Most people would probably just use hair extensions.

I love it! Your videos are so inspiring, I am always eagerly waiting for the next one! I think your yarn weft technique is the best for dolls. I'd just want to ask, is there a way to pull the wefts closer to the head when styling in the last part, as it lies less flat than the bangs?
you totally can! just pull the outer set tighter before tying it with the rest of the ponytail!
could you do a video with other ways to cut bangs?? it would be super helpful, your videos really help me learn

Your doll hair tutorial are awesome :D you should try to do a doll wig that can be change style it would be cool :3
Deleijon You can't really make that, because partings need a certain placement to make using wefts. So the bands wouldn't be able to change, same for the rest of the head. A changing wig made of warm wefts for a doll wouldn't be possible, or at the least, would look like poor quality. If your looking for a lazy way out, there isn't really any way you could do this. If you re-root the hair you may be able to, but it takes time, and by that I mean most likely a day or two, to change it. Sorry bro.

Maybe you can help me you are one of the best I've seen on TH-cam at wigs and I have looked. I have a little sister with a bald little boy and it's her only one. I've done some wigs for her other barbies but I have no idea where I'd start with a male wig.

Hey, quick question: should you keep a separate flat iron for weftmaking? Will using one you use for your hair leave any deposits or bad effects for your head hair after using it for the acrylics? Thank you, this wig is sooo cute! The colors are great :3
Mmm, I only have 1 iron at the moment that I use both on wig making and my hair as well(but quite rarely as I now have short hair). I was thinking it would be bad if the yarn actually melted on the iron(?) but that has never happened to me so far!

Hey Mozekyto! I have a theoretical question, if instead of using Elmer's glue you use a non water soluble glue would it be possible to make a wig where you can plunge the hair into? I think that the hair strands would have to be plunged through all the way on one side and replunged back to the other side so it has a loop going through the cap. I would love to see if you can do that in a video if it works.
My thinking is if you plunge and secure the hairs then you can restyle the wig...
I wanted to experiment with a waterproof glue too but I unfortunately can't find a good brand here 😔 A waterproof wig would be really great though!
hmm... Perhaps a no sew fabric glue would work especially since you start with a cotton fabric base, and maybe glue the underside with a permanent adhesive to secure the strands?
Oooh wait I completely misunderstood your question sorry! I get it now! I haven't tried rooting into the wig cap yet since i'm not a huge fan of rerooting :( I am thinking of brushing lesser coats of glue but that would make the wig cap too soft and loose! Now that I think of it, this is actually an interesting idea since this is quite similar to ventilating which could be a bit labor intensive but I've wanted to try for ages because of the wonderful results! Anyway IM SO SORRY FOR COMPLETELY MISUNDERTANDING! I was thinking PLUNGING INTO WATER OMG I FEEL STUPID 🤣🤣🤣

I have a question about the wig. I had watched your other video on how to make the wefts, and upon doing so, my yarn had not given a shiny and healthy result like yours. It is 100% acrylic yarn, so I don't know what the problem is.
