I want to see an early-Empire movie/series post-RotS, with the Empire still using Clones, white Venator Star Destroyers, and Jedi Fighters for their pilots, reinforcing that the Empire IS the Republic.
I can see Tarkin, who dislikes clones, keeping and using clones for the most high risk missions. And cloned troops are lost or destroyed, they are replaced by conscripts -- Galactica youth 17 and older who chose not to enter the imperial academy. And cadets who wash out of the academy are become into stormtroopers themselves. 'No resource is wasted'. Galactic children of poor families may often be sent to the pre- imperial academy for social and mental indoctrination and later become imperial officers.
Something to remember is that being older doesn't necessarily mean you'll become weaker, it's all about what you do in your life to keep you in your prime. Especially for the clone troopers who train their entire lives to be the best they can be, including physically. Not to mention being genetically engineered to be physically better than the standard human by default. Add those two things plus advanced medicine letting humans stay in their prime for longer and I don't see why clone can't still be used even at 0BBy. Of course you can't make more clones due to Jango's DNA being stretched to their limit, which has been linked to clones becoming less and less "pure" (lack of a better word,) still doesn't mean you can't use the clones you have now.
Age will still weaken you no matter how well you train. In Legends it is also implied that clones would get a lot of health issues as they got older, as shown by Boba Fett.
@@robertnelson9599 However Boba isn't a clone trooper, he's a genetically identical to Jango Fett. No changes whatsoever, so he's essentially a normal human being who just happens to be a clone. Clone Troopers are specifically designed to be superior physically, which I think should help them stay in their prime to their 40's at the very least.
@@mikelong3460 THEIR 40's, so really 20 years after their creation. That'd put the first batch in their 40's (clone time) at 19bby (using the Wookiepedia start date at 32bby) and the last batch entering their 40's in 0bby/aby, since they'd be made at 19bby right at the clone wars ending. So using clone troopers by the time Andor's flashback happens doesn't make it impossible. Even if the flashbacks took place right at the battle of Yavin (just as an example) there'd still be clones in their physical 40's, meaning they'd still be in their prime because they're genetically superior. Now effectiveness is one thing, I have no doubts they won't be as effective as their 20's but still pretty damn good.
Perhaps they keep all the cloning under one roof and one supervising Admiral, but compartmentalised to stop each department from even knowing about the other. So you could have a clone trooper programme on one section and the Emperors cloning programme in another completely separated and unaware of each others jobs.
This would not be a very good idea in terms of efficiency. When you have multiple teams working on the same subject, you want them to communicate as much as they can : the more brains you have to solve a problem, the faster it gets.
YES they did and "Do". purge Troopers is one of them. As to the shots here, they are NOT closnes, but stormtroopers, the empire used the phase II armor for several years, it takes a while to equip trillions of troops
It's probably a sound guess that the scene in question is a flashback. As far as another batch of new clones, I dunno where I stand on that. Bad Batch did a good job at hammering home the fact that the Empire wanted to phase out clones asap. I can definitely see them retaining whatever clones were still fit for duty, along with the younger ones from the time of BB's s1 ending, for some time. Maybe they get relegated to backwater postings/assignments as they grow older, after being used to train the TKs which are now the majority of their forces. Similar to how they used some Republic era equipment in areas where an ISD or their fancy new stuff wouldn't be considered important enough for.
Have ypu made any videos about Omega? What about Grogu? I am DYING to know your thoughts on who might have saved Grogu, or how he ended up where he was when Din Djarin found him. My favorite video would be anything you made about the Mortis episodes and the Yoda's Force ghost training.

Ignoring the fact that the armor and weapons used by those troopers is from the Clone Wars, meaning without a doubt it is a flashback, I have to admit Palpatine probably had numerous secret cloning projects. During the Galactic Civil War, Doctor Aphra and Hera did have an adventure on a Tarkin Initiative Space Station that had Hutt Clone Troopers. Since there is no way for the Empire to keep having Fett Clone Troopers thanks to the loss of original DNA from Jango and his two pure clones, it means that like in Legends where after the Kamino Uprising, the Empire started to clone other templates, the same has to happen here. There might have been a number of occasions where human stormtroopers noticed their comrades acting a little too fanatic and unquestionably loyal to the Empire. And unlike the Fett Clone Troopers, these new clones wouldn’t be influenced by Jedi, Mandalorians, cloners with a heart, or anybody else. Either people wouldn’t realize they were clones or people wouldn’t care. The Kamino Fett Clone Troopers really got lucky in their case. Palpatine would probably order each clone to have some biological differences and each to have separate memories so that nobody would notice there were a bunch of soldiers who were clones. But about the flashback itself, no. It just isn’t possible for it to be set any time after 14 BBY. Besides the armor and the blasters, we know most clone troopers were retired and most of those who stayed on became drill instructors, training the next generation of stormtroopers alongside other instructors. The few clones who became stormtroopers were few in number, usually around just one or two in a unit of stormtroopers. Maybe this was even intentional by Palpatine, wanting to keep the clone troopers separate from each other so they wouldn’t plot. He certainly does have much reason to distrust Kaminoan clones. Now, what do I think happened to all underplayed clones after Order 66, like those clone cadets with Nala Se? Is it possible the Empire trained all of them as stormtroopers? Possibly. While they had partial training with the Jedi, the Empire has years before they mature to replace that with Imperial Propaganda. However, we know the Purge Troopers were among the last generation of clone troopers and this was said in a story in 18 BBY. So either Star Wars retcons this idea or has the Empire betray all of these untrained clones by only finishing up training for the older ones and forcing the younger ones, including the kids and maybe even the babies, out onto the street. Again, Palpatine has personal reason to not like clones. Fives for instance came damn close to uncovering the truth of the inhibitor chips. And for all we know, Rex’s clone Rebel cell will cause so much trouble that Palpatine will just hate Kaminoan clones entirely.

I'm getting a vibes from the Comic storyline Star Wars: Empire: Betrayal. Which involved a anti-sith conspiracy consisting disaffected high ranking Imperials useing cloned stormtroopers in attempted coup against Palpatine. Their goal was not restore the Republic, but simply force a change in leadership within the Empire, with themselves in charge of course. I'm thinking what happens is that the rebels and the rouge imperials plots stumble into each other, leading to a moral choice that the rebels have make to either decide to ally with them or stop them, with the imperials are either just a bunch of ambitious opportunists or well meaning but misguided true believers who want to reform the empire, or mix of both.
Secret clone army would be interesting, but rather than focusing on one set of dna like jango's could use multiple sources but instead of pure clones something more like augments from star trek or trueborn from BattleTech eugenics program. Though i imagine rather than 10 year to grow and train clones something along 1-5 years would been better. They wouldn't make majority of the empire but an elite force for the emperor and vader to use.
In WW2 we saw that quantity over quality american sherman and russian tanks were build in bundels and overwelmed de german better build panther and tiger tanks on the battle fields of Ukrain and france so quality is not always better
Typical Disney , they can't even keep their own canon straight . I know that Kenobi sucked , but didn't they show that the Empire just tossed the clones aside ? Remember the scene of the homeless clone ( still in his armor ten years later ) ? So , what is it ? Did they keep them in service or did they toss them aside and leave them to fend for themselves ? Disney could screw up boiling water .

According to Space Janitors, there were at least two generations of clones. Dennis and Steve.
I wouldn't doubt it we know the Shock Troopers were created in secret on Coruscant.
But, and I’m sure lots of nerds have already said this, but it doesn’t make sense that they would still be wearing clone trooper gear 🤷♂️🤔
Same with certain modern day soldiers eating food made in the last century.
My earliest memories are in black White. And I learned the first week after birth babies are color blind
Something I need and know that I need is a Movie or at least a Robot Chicken of Allen fighting Dolphins with a lightsaber. Start a petion.
I would use a combination of cloning and selective breeding to create the imperial military.
clones wars has begun
Personally, I prefer X11 clones over Wayland.
Having Fett clones running around so close to the OT era is a bad idea. Cassian thinks so and so do I.
I’m guessing the writers don’t know or care. But you could always Retcon it and say they’re old clones
So are Spartii clones becoming cannon? Or am I mixing up clones?
Couldn't they not just be TK troopers in clone armor if the standart storm trooper armour isn't ready?
Luvit
you know the more i learn about the new cannon the more i'm finding it difficult to make my second clone warsit's gona be so hard, lol
Darth king lord plagues lives still u missing point
Wouldn’t somebody be able to turn on clone chips orders against the empire
Nope. Just a flashback folks.
👏👍
In WW2 we saw that quantity over quality american sherman and russian tanks were build in bundels and overwelmed de german better build panther and tiger tanks on the battle fields of Ukrain and france so quality is not always better
"better built" LOL
What if palatine just wants to clone the zillo beast
All those Centax Flash-clones really are second rate
me .... does it have a moon named yutani??
Typical Disney , they can't even keep their own canon straight .
I know that Kenobi sucked , but didn't they show that the Empire just tossed the clones aside ?
Remember the scene of the homeless clone ( still in his armor ten years later ) ?
So , what is it ?
Did they keep them in service or did they toss them aside and leave them to fend for themselves ?
Disney could screw up boiling water .
