It would be fun, but then you run into issues. As far as story. You would either have a team split, or 2 different teams. In either case it could lead to either worse content or they as a company spending more money. IF they can do this without impacting regular content I would be all for it honestly, but I don't see that happening. On the flip side you do have to spend money to make money,it just depends on how many people would buy the game based on the option.

Being in Boston for grad school I'd be mad hype if it was set here. The thing about Boston is that the layout and development of the city has all sorts of urban sectors - you could have sections that look almost like midtown Manhattan, then places that look like lower Manhattan, and even spots like the inner suburbs of DC we saw. Furthermore, it's got a lot of thematic value since I get the impression that The Division's storyline is angling for a sort of American Revolution 2 down the line.

    Things I want in D3:
-Same quality Looter Shooter RPG mechanics and talents
-A dog... please, give me a dog that can go back to base if people join on me/my session.
-Unique NPC interactions based on reputation such as new dialogue the more you assist a specific NPC with resource runs
-Moral Meter that affects how NPCs interact with you
-More collectibles, more easter eggs, hunters. unique world/named bosses with unique mechanics
    -Yearly Raids
-My cosmetics I paid for in Division 2 - especially my Keener, Kajika, and Parnell outfit.

The division 3 NEEDS a massive Dark Zone like bigger than New York in division 2 and they need to not let skills be so overpowered in said Dark zone and status shouldn't be overpowered and they must up the player cap on the servers to like 50 I think also they should not have turrets in DZ also they should add huge underground areas like D1 where you can just get lost underground through subways etc also more factions and obviously add snow and winter Halloween/ Christmas and not make expertise 23 crazy grinding scenarios but just like lvl 50 gear then just make more exotics and build and make time to kill another longer like D1

    1. I like the atmosphere of Div 1 much better. The Snow really added a unique feel that Div 2 just doesn't have. The world was bleak and had that sense of trepidation that is rarely felt in most games.
    2. I would like the Dz maps to be better utilized for all players. let's assume they're going to cap the player level at 40. If so, maybe they could add missions/quests that you'd have to complete in the Dz in the early part of the game with no PVP game play. Then, once you reach level 40 the Dz maps would be PVP only. I actually suck at PVP but understand completely that it is a important part of the Division universe. I just feel that the Dz maps are under utilized. Allowing players to play in these zones early on wouldn't take away from the PVP players experience because it would be part of the progression system in the game.
    3. I would love more random events and buildings to loot. Again, this idea sort of touches upon my idea of under utilized maps in the game.
    4. More enemy factions would be great. Maybe just random groups of enemy scavengers. Technically we already have that but they are part of larger factions.
    5. Better loot drop system. In Div 2 it took me 5 years to get one "13% protection from elite" mods to drop. It took me four years to get the "Rail splitter".
    6. The in game cost to craft, optimize and, re calibrate could be dramatically decreased.

I always loved how when you start at your main base its all dilapidated and depressing but as you gain resources to build it up it starts to look better and open new wings and stuff. I think this was implemented better in Division 1. I would love to see them lean more into this. It makes me feel like I'm making a difference in the world. A little hope. Also I think the guns and skills should level up simply by using them similar to something like Ratchet and Clank.

Downtown Cincinnati and being able to cross over the bridge to Newport and Covington, Kentucky would be sick! But i'm biased since i live here lmao but, Las Vegas would be an awesome location too, so many casinos, hotels, etc. for missions. I was helping a friend today who just recently started the game, and as I was playing I realized how interesting the beginning of the storyline was. How the missions were to rebuild the settlements and white house. Introducing charcters and mission settings. Like the MLK library control point. I forgot that you could go inside the building and go underground and stuff. I feel they should utilize more of the map. Instead of the main missions like Lincoln memorial for example. Classified missions should be used for newer players and unlocked now. I mean it's been years since I focused on the story. But the map is beautiful I'd you really explore it. You get the real feel of the struggle of what people who experienced the virus. Especially when you find the recordings. They should utilized when your agent can visually analyze the seen more. Etc.

Recoil from Div 1 made my wrist cramp a lot on PC, Especially when i used two Big Alejandros but i do feel like it should be a mix of both from Div 1 - Div 2
    Some other ideas
    - Destructible cover and walls and shooting through dry wall or very thin covers
    - An option to disable open world agents if they do add every player into one session / If they do open world agents
    - World bosses where agents phase into that area for the boss when it's active
    - More roof top accessibility
    - Better photo mode with a pause / weather and time option when in it
    - Personal customizable safe-house apartment or home in different spots around the map
    - More interactions with the environment
    - Prone like some of the NPC's in Division 2
    - Take-downs on low health enemies or unaware enemies
    --------- Previous video ---------
-Seasonal weather in the new Div 3 would be cool, Kinda like Forza Horizon 5 type seasons
    -Cross Play / Progression
-Ability to equip exotics in all slots but give it some type of negative effect if you go over two for balance.
    -Unequip weapons
    -Melee Combat Builds
    -Bow and arrow exotic weapon
-Better Customization / Character, Piercings, Actual good full sleeve tattoos, Dirt and Body paint camo for the face and body / Clothing / More Pre-made outfits that can be dyed / Agent watch customization, Metals and coloring / a few different body-types
-Division Agent watch collecting from PvP melee take downs that can be put on your outfit or weapons
-A PvP mode separate from the normal that has 0 builds in it and has balanced damage
-An actual social hub for people to hang out / queue for stuff together etc
-Would be interesting to have dual story lines but I feel like it would be too much, I've always wanted to join the hunter program to look like a hunter / collect agent watches over time to put on my outfit / wear a mask full time outside of a safe house or hunter base

42:21 A PvP capture the base mode, that has defined area where a squad could go up against another squad to push "lanes of checkpoints", that has some elements of mobas where you progress forward by capturing and strenghening control points. Maybe the stronger they control points the more ai troops it can spawn for your team. Like the team basted style of a game called Warlander, but more the division style.

    • @Soundslikelife13
      @Soundslikelife13 ปีที่แล้ว

The possibility to strengthen either your self, your bases /control points, or your recruits by gathering resources. If say it were a 4v4 mode on a city map that is roughly 2 or 3 "lanes" and some roaming areas, maybe it can be like 1 person per lane and 1 "roamer" that either gathers supplies, intel, or helps push a lane. The choices, builds, and strategies would be interesting.

Faster animations for grenades and FINAL MEASURE
Darker atmosphere. I don't think it has to be winter but the crunchy snow was awesome.
    Proper management and support
PvP (big DZ) with an option to disable PvP in the DZ just to stop people constantly moaning about it 😅 but make the PvE only waaaaaay more difficult. Like savagely difficult.
No stupid levelling systems like expertise
Slightly shorter missions (and possibly more of them)
A more intelligent approach to difficulty rather than just spam with explosions and stagger
More recoil and therefore more emphasis on weapon handling not just stacking crit (oh, you just said that)
    MORE VERTICALITY!!!!!!!!!
    Better Skirmish maps
Hmmmm... almost all of that is basically Div1 😅 I do really like the Div2 mechanics though and althiugh i hated gear 2.0 at first, I think it works well

I just want to say I enjoy your videos. So many times you see fans of a franchise yelling and screaming about how bad it is and how the developers are the worst ever yet somehow they still consider themselves fans of the games. When you have an issue with something you don't like in the game you provide measured constructive criticism that highlights what you disagree with and try to point out a solution without resorting to the histrionics and name calling that so many other fans of other franchises resort to. Thank you for the time you spend creating these videos.

One of the things I hope for most is that we can do end game content without having to always push the min/max settings of difficulty just for a chance of a fractioned upgrade. I still don't have the best gear in game, running 400k-800k dpshot until my gearset kicks in then I barely hit 1m if I am lucky. Yet, the AI do 1.2m damage in 3 bullets? I understand that Elites have more health/armor, named even more so; but the difference in my death with 3 bullets compared to the AI taking 271 bullets is just broken. (I am getting older though, I may just suck most days at shooters now ;p )

  • @Fatties09

Div 3 setting in Boston but with an additional expansion to Chicago or Philadelphia would be interesting. The weather/climate settings would be interesting - would it be possible to do a full range of seasons in-game? Fall, Summer, Spring, Winter? Hurricanes and snowstorms - extreme weather conditions would be great to see too. Some level of horror in terms of atmosphere would be interesting - creeping around the sectioned off/biohazard areas in div 2 in dc was quite fun - I did enjoy that.
    .
One thing that Ubi needs to add in is an offline mode for Div 3 - stats can then upload once we decide to reconnect online. This would also help with the issue of the delta 3 disconnects and such - at least mitigate it.

    • @RogueGold
      @RogueGold  ปีที่แล้ว +3

One thing that I would like addressed is toning down the aimbot on the enemy AI. That shit is extremely frustrating and makes most gunfights repetitive since they'll hit you perfectly every single. Having the AI Miss their shots would make gunfights more dynamic and unpredictable which would co-inside with the setting IMO.
Also having a hardcore mode where you and everybody else dies in like 2 or 3 shots would be Epic!!!!!

  • @brightenblack207
    @brightenblack207 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It's been a while since I played Division 2 and this is really making me want to play again.
I don't like players having the option to choose where targeted loot is. That ends up funneling players into specific areas and activities and can kill replayability very quickly. If you have targeted loot cycle through missions and zones, you get the choice to run the missions your character/build is best suited for for fast clears or you can follow the loot your looking for which would give more variety but could be more challenging. When the stars align and you get the right target on the right mission it could be a great day to play. Maybe having a separate targeted loot you set that has a different, lower drop chance than the base target could help players move the grind time along without having too much of an impact to incentivize running the same top mission over and over.
When it comes to the best gear, I think all the top-tier items should be locked behind harder activities. Raids and Dark Zone(s) should have good rolls more consistently and maybe add another stat slot that gives a minor boost in whatever stat. I also like specific weapons and gear to have different stat increases but mods and this extra stat slot would allow more build specialization that is unique to end-game. The more incentives there are to spend time in these activities the better.
Though I'm sure it wouldn't be the most popular decision but I want specializations to have a much larger effect and be attached to the character. Early on in the campaign, give players the option to choose a specialization that the character will be using. They can have the option to swap it out as long as they don't spend too many points in the specialization tree but after a certain number it should be locked to the character. That skill tree should be large and it should be impossible to unlock everything. Start with access to the weapon and its upgrades at the very beginning then as you go further it'll start branching. Have one branch that allows you to put points into the weapons of your choosing (like currently) then have different bonuses for those weapons. Have other branches for different stat bonuses. Everyone will have access to increasing a little of every stat but certain classes will have larger branches for certain stats and effects (ie Sharpshooter would have more available for headshot damage and crit damage, demo would have increase AOE and out-of-cover damage, etc). Players could balance out their trees or they could fully invest into two or three. I want characters and classes to feel unique and as you're grinding at endgame, players will know exactly what they're looking for and if they find a really, really good item with different bonuses that aren't great for their character, they could make another character and build around those items. AND/OR them adding trading could give items a new value. Choices need to matter
I obviously can go forever but some other things I'd like is a seasonal leaderboard that shows time to level up new characters that season and time to complete missions (to add another incentive to create new characters or run through the game again), different damage types (physical, explosion, fire, etc) that interact with health, armor, crit, headshots, AI, etc in different ways to give different uses and strengths to characters specializing in those damage types and make weapons feel more different, missions made for solo-play with more powerful rewards (less than raid and Dark zones), etc.

  • @mikebrown3872
    @mikebrown3872 ปีที่แล้ว +2

A Character skill tree would encourage the use of additional characters which would be active with varying skill tree options. Figuring out how to build a character with these parameters could be interesting and result in additional play time to create unique characters abilities. Currently I have one main character and 3 mules.
Additionally, the SHD watch level has become very interesting. When I shepherd with newer players, the abilities and density of the NPC’s are significantly reduced to what is experienced on my map. Example, Overgrowth control point, began a takeover, 30 seconds later, from each connecting road, a patrol, elite patrol, convoy and elite convoy arrived simultaneously. This is a typical scenario now for most engagements. Seems algorithm’s may be evaluating a players skill (SHD) level. Hope this is included as it provides some very fun experiences.
Thanks for a very interesting video.

Great video with lots of awesome suggestions. One thing you are absolutely guaranteed of in a PVP game with cross play is problems of a controller vs KB&M. In PVE this not an issue, but in PVP that complaints will come hard and fast. Also I would love to see semi-randomised spawn points for NPCs in missions, so that you don't always know exactly where the next wave is coming from.

I should've clarified in the video, but probably the ideal way to do Crossplay is enable it for console to console, and then if console players want to join their friends on PC they'll only be put into PC lobbies and not vice-versa. Good shout there!

They need to make it like Div 1s atmosphere with Div 2s open world events that sounds like the perfect world to me. I need the story to have Div 1s sense of urgency to bc while I did enjoy Div 2s story I didn't feel any sense of urgency. I agree with wanting to keep the franchise looter shooter bc thats part of Divisions identity. This is just a minor thing from me but I want our agents to have a voice I can't stand mute main characters. A option to make your world shared and you can run into other agents sounds like a good idea but I also think there should be a option to play in the world alone for players like me that actually prefer to play solo. I also agree with making the DZ 1 big zone again I hated the idea of making them into a bunch of smaller zones personally. I also think they should make the map kinda like what Fortnite does, not in terms of gameplay of course but every few months their map gets updates and theres notable changes to the map we can explore. Thats a good way to keep the games world fresh and interesting and it will make players keep coming back to it.

    - The whole map as a DZ (by going to the map and hold Triangle)
    - Missions turned into Landmarks (while the map is turned into a DZ)
The first big room of a mission becomes the Landmark, the first squad in there can clean the Landmark (the doors will shut behind them), and after completing it, that Squad becomes the Landmark Enemy.
The doors open and 1 other Squad can start rushing in, whoever wins wins the activity (either the first Squad can open the loot room twice or the rushing Squad can open it aswell) (or just a second loot room).
    - "PvP missions" (Hunters playing a "SAW game" with a Squad of agents) either 1v1 or 2v2.
Each room of that mission can be won by 1 team, the team that wins the room gets a perk (buffed armor, dmg, skill power, movement), and the losing team gets a directive (less armor, less stability/accuracy, increased cooldowns on talents/skills)
People could also work together to "even" the Perks/Directives.
But every room/perk you win gives you more loot from the Hunters at the end.
Let's say every mission has 5 rooms, if you win all 5 then every Hunter will drop loot (as there will be 5).
If you win none, only 1 Hunter drops loot (the last one dying).
    - Survival in Hardcore mode
You start with a Pistol (which levels up with you)
And after every level you lose your gear and big guns as they are underpowered (reasons to scavenge/loot the open world (boxes, and craft items)).
    - Every mission in the game Legendary mode
    - Every Faction has Legendary Sprites
(Not just BTSU, and not just White coloured)
1 week the Cleaner's (with green fire) take over the Legendary missions, the other week Hyena's, the week after that Rikers, etc.
(Depending on how the game will be)
    - Rogue Agent Bounty Hunter
This Bounty Hunter will give you quests to do like: Kill this many Rogue agents, kill them this and ti's way (headshots, (specific) skill kills, melee kill, etc.
And if you completed all of them, on Sunday 1 Stronghold mission will be invaded by Rogue Agents (every room has 2-5 Rogue's in it)
    Massive loot mission.
    - Hunters replace Boss fights (in PvE missions)
Can only happen in Heroic or Legendary mission's.
Where you see the actual enemy being slaughtered already when you walk into the boss room (their body's stacked in the middle of the room, or hanging upside down as if The Predator killed them, or something like that).
    - No more infinity ammo for Turrets/Drones😊
    These use your ammo now
    • Assault Turret (AR ammo)
    • Drone (SMG ammo)
    • Sniper Turret (MMR ammo)
After they are empty, you need to pick them up, reload the skills, and activate them again.
Getting bigger mags will be an option with upgrades.
And more mags per certain skill tier (not every tier).
    That

    1. Put more time into making Div3 less crash-prone on the PC.
    2. Get rid of Easy Anti-Cheat and build their own anti-cheat that can be easily and quickly modified to address new cheats that players might find/create.
    3. Allow players to adjust the difficulty of even the hardest missions. Maybe a slider that enables us to ramp up and down the damage taken or dealt by NPCs. Move the slider all the way up and you essentially would have a mission full of hunter-class NPCs. This would be in addition to the typical Normal, Hard, Challenging, Heroic, Legendary settings.
    4. Incorporate AI/machine learning into the NPCs that allows them to learn over time. Missions in Div2 quickly become too predictable.
    5. Incorporate AI into NPCs that make them capable of conversation and more varied vebalizations.
    6. Bring back the 6-piece classified gear without making the 6-piece set absolutely meta.
    7. Publish detailed information about how skills and damage are calculated. Div2 does a little of this, but much of it is unclear.
    8. Give us a compass in the HUD.
    9. Implement the concept of fatigue. Nobody can "sprint" all the way across Washington or NYC.
    10. In both NPC and players, reduce skill haste, movement speed and weapon handling when you are at something less then full health.
P.S. Div2 has crossplay, but it has been turned off since the beginning. Div3 won't be out for 5+ years and that is well after the next generation of consoles and CPUs. I tihink London is the most likely setting.

Division 1 atmosphere including being in New York City, I want the characters to stand and pose like in the division 1. I want the clothes to sit on the characters and layer the same way.
I think some of the end game world from the division 2 ideal but I prefer the mix of activities from the division 1. The legendaries, the incursions, the dark zone. The PvP, survival and underground. All of that was stellar end game activities that I liked better than having 300 missions to do over and over.
I personally want an actual cover based PvP mode. Where if you get caught out of cover you lose the gun fight unless the guy in cover is terrible. Like a mediocre player in cover should be able to kill 3 good players that are out of cover coming at him.

    Hi,
I'm somewhat surprised that nobody (at least to my knowledge) so far came up with the idea that gear/weapons/etc. can "wear out".
Until now, the moment you get a piece of gear or a specific weapon, you can use it as long as you want to.
But imagine, each piece has it own health bar
    - when you use a weapen that health bar decreases.
    - when you are hit, not only your characters helath goes down but also the gear that your wear takes some kind of damage.
    - the longer you shoot a weapon its health is going done and its damage will decrease.
When the health of an item is used up, it will be destroyed and you have to farm it again.
You could also have some kind of repair station where you can spend materials to repair your gear/weapons/etc.
    Would love to have this.

I agree with all of this the last thing I'd add was. Make gearsets exotics and Skills more interactive and interesting. Give us bigger and more impact full trade odds. I'd love a drone operator skill. Where if your a full skill build your guns are near usless. But you can deploy a big drone that you have to control in first person.

I much preferred Division 1's use of mission objectives. I can only take so much of "Search the computer/server for intel" in division 2. In the first one each mission minus one or 2 felt unique for its own reason. Not just like were killing the black tusk for yet another laptop. Or killing true sons for a laptop but oh hey its for slightly different reasons -_-, or killing some enemies because underground bunker i guess.
I remember how awesome killing joe ferro and berret felt because it FEELS impactful because you hear and see how dangerous the cleaners and rikers, really are it makes it feel like a big deal. And lets not even compare the final missions because while general assembly might not have had a lot in unique gameplay, it made up for with the spectacle of literally fighting a chopper because fuck you its cool, vs the silent intro of ridgeway into battle without saying as much as a word.
Division 2 has some moments don't get me wrong, but they are few and very far between,

On the topic of actual, meteorological seasons, Julian Gerighty had said when asked about this same topic just before or maybe very early after it's release in regards to Div2 (non-verbatim, mind you) that the developers and narrative writers didn't include and would not include changing weather seasons because that, like lunar phases, would mark time passage - would would force the story to move faster (or slower) then they narratively wished. By "freezing time" to one season, they could tell months worth of story without tripping up future content or even future iterations of the game/franchise. I think this is why Ubisoft commissions the novels; Alex Irving's 'Broken Dawn' helped transition the lore of The Division 1 winter setting to The Division 2's late Spring to mid-Summer, and why Thomas Parrott's trilogy is possibly being used to progress from Div2's now late Summer D.C. premise (and, perhaps, even geographical setting) to a theoretical The Division 3's potential late Autumn/early Winter feel.
As for weapons - bring back the full auto LVOA-C, please and thanks. Whether as just a standard, auto or a via a toggle like in Ghost Recon...or, perhaps a specific weapon mod that you can find, loot or earn a reward for a certain activity like an Incursion completion or maybe even a Proficiency level achieved.
As for PvP, my unpopular opinion: Get rid of the toggle Rogue mechanic. Go back to early Div DZ where if you pumped a mag into someone, you MEANT to shot them & got marked Rogue. Those that didn't like it, were the ones that sucked at PvP to the point they couldn't aim around a Rogues'/Manhunts' meat-shields. To me (an admittedly very bad PvPer but who who as much fun dying as making other unalive), I got my greatest kicks in the very early Div1 DZ but running with a pack of DZPDers to see who/how many would get marked rogue for shooting "friendlies" while chasing a Rogue...or, even better, if I would ph'uck up and get marked! LMAO! Having to press a button that would stop you cold in your tracks to toggle took a lot of the unexpectedness/shock/horror/fun out of the DZ for me.
Dammit, Rogue...you and NGN... you do this to me👆which is to make me think too much, which in return results in me talking too much. 😅 I'm saving this video on a playlist I won't forget about so, as Div 3 starts coming to fruition, I can check off all your bullet-points that make it in - of which I'm expecting MOST (if not all) will!

Conversely, however, I think they're running into some issues by keeping it to one Season as well. The few things that I want added is the ability to slot more than one mod into your gear like in Div 1, but at the same time let's leave the East Coast. I'm with you on bring back the atmosphere of Div 1 and what better place to do that than to ship us up north to Minnesota, Michigan, or Wisconsin. If they're wanting to go with more of a sunny type of atmosphere, however, then why not go down to Florida and have an endgame mission that involves the Kennedy Space Center. I think it would also be better if Ubi implemented the skill tree but at the same time took a page out of Darktide, letting you swap around your skills at will when you're not in combat. The main thing I want, more Raids. Give me raids.

    Some of my thoughts:
    *Optional crossplay
*Optional world tiers with increased difficulty and better loot
    *Class based like "Div Resurgence"
*4 players max with difficulty scaling
*Full customisation of your individual character and gear
    *Immersive and ever changing map
*Solid security system for pvp cheats/hacks
*Massive open world like "GTA 6" which allows for different regions and settings over time
    *Shared world like "Div Resurgence"
    *Shared social hub
    *Trading post
    *Gear sets
*Random world timed events with limited whatever....
*More realism (no dark zone, open world pvpve - can be toggled on the spot)
    *Dynamic weather
    *Season Pass (cosmetics only)
    *Vehicles (unsure)
*Better gameplay loop rather than the same old grind
    *Massive skill tree
It's funny because The Division Resurgence has practically nailed what the Division could have been, obviously with a few tweaks.

tbh i would love for the story of division 3 to be about our character being a first wave agent, maybe the prologue being set in New York, maybe we were in keeners division cell? then the rest of the story could be set in Boston some place like that, I would love to see the stigma/reaction of other agents we meet due to us being a first wave agent as its a well known thing that nearly all first wave agents are either dead or rogue. also a massive DZ like in D1 would be nice too

Setting Chicago. SUMMIT mode at Willis Tower, John Hancock, Trump Tower. Travel on L-Train. Massive underground layers deep. 1 large dark zone. Purchase hideouts in high rises. Water craft on lake Michigan. Snow for sure but ok with seasons. Music wheel. Ability to enter schools, apartments, bars, banks, malls. Survival mode with separate character that one can level up. No timer and only temp to deal with not sepsis. Make gear very rare and hard to find so it's more rewarding. Better weapon and gear skins. Missions at stadiums and event centers. Secrete areas and puzzles to solve. Monthly events like a zombie event. Decent mode that you actually decend underground with different looking areas. Same with summit. Complete the floors so they look finished and occupied. Weather system. Blizzards for sure. Rare and epic loot boxes. Infinite leveling so more time played is rewarding. Better gear in dz. Need the thrill of it. Hunters everywhere dz and open world. Multiple boss spawns. Viop. Don't like it mute it. Ability to replay side missions. Not just for getting to level 30. Some are awesome then there gone. Back to survival. U get a separate character. Start with pistol. The cold is the only factor. Gear and guns are extremely hard to find. No timer. You work hard to find the gear and are able to survive the cold. Entire survival map is pvp or pve. This way one has to get lucky finding gear to even entertain the thought of going into the dz. You put in the time and get good gear and guns u can go after newbies outsize the dz. When u have a timer it just gets same e same quick. I learned med kit row and clothing row quick in D1 and could extract every time. Why not just a separate character? Key is making gear and guns very rare and hard to find. The excitement and rewarding feeling would b second to none. Underground needs to be huge. Levels deep. Like you can get lost down there! I want my own hideout on the upper floor of a skyscraper overlooking the city! I will grind forever for the required xp to buy it. Field proficiency caches could have items for one's hideout as bonus items. And friends or players ur playing with can fast travel or rise elevator to one's hideout. Kinda showing off your pad or getting squad together to chat and get ready to go play various game modes. Chicago is awesome and could make a great Setting for d3. This game could b as huge as grand theft if done right. I wanna battle through the suburbs with some cool jams on the music wheel and seeing the skyline in thr distance. The views would be epic. Plus if we're talking long term they could expand the map to add more suburbs. Think the initial map should b the metro area and a little surrounding suburbs. That way it's not 8 years out instead of 4 or so. Ohare international would make a great BOO. Have to fast travel by train to the city because in reality it's 45 min out of downtown and initially that would make the maps way to big imo. Anyways sorry for all the missed punctuation. Don't really care lol. Rogue has a lot of great technical ideas for the game. I hope this adds maybe some fun factors for all of us. My biggest wish beside being set in Chicago is that I'm rewarded for time played. If I put in 1000 hours I should I should be OP and if others can only play a few hours here and there. We'll ur probably gonna get smoked in pvp. And BTW. In d1 I was in the top 100 globally for kills for months until I switched to d2 so I have put in the time into this franchise. Hope everyone is excited and we get a great 3rd installment. Agent out!!!!!

Agree with a lot of what you say in the video. To bring a Survival style gameplay back it would be great to have some missions fall into the story where you are stripped of all weapons and need to play them like a mini Survival adventure. Perhaps these specific missions are a bit longer or have different paths you can follow but once completed can be replayed by selecting from the mission menu.
It would also be good to have a stealth mechanic in place, one where you can be more strategic, instead of all enemies immediately knowing where you are when you enter a fight. The Assassin's Creed games are a good example where the AI goes to your last known location. This would make it more immersive for those who would prefer a more tactical style of gameplay.
With the seasons you mentioned, it would also be a good addition if certain damage types were more effective, burn damage in summer, shock damage in winter, etc. That way you would need to be more selective with ancillary weapons and skills.
Additionally, to get players used to certain mechanics, perhaps you as a player get handed experimental weapons or weapons with skills for specific missions instead of being able to use your regular items. Perhaps these items are a little more powerful than your level to help with the change in playstyle required to help with any learning curve. Once played through normal weapons would apply.
Definitely more ideas but for now keep up the amazing work. Great to hear all that is going on in the Division world!

I hadn't heard that they announced a 3rd installment, so finding this video was a punctuation to the day!
I'd love to see more class based play. Have skills that compliment certain play styles that you can then build around to make each person be more than damage. Maybe that's how it is now (i'll be honest I could never get into the team based stuff because my friends who played with me sucked), but I'd like there to be more than just what kind of damage you do.
PvP - I'm not a pvper, and you're right, there's very little way to get PvE players involved. Personally, I think that if there's a specific pvp zone, then why not make pvp stats? It won't help you in pve, and pve stats won't help you much in pvp, so that way no one feels required to do one game type to be the best in the other. Think of resilience in WoW (basically crit mitigation).

  • @DukesUp1
    @DukesUp1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Pvp is why I play division. I wouldn't even touch the game if there were no pvp. It's literally why I'm here. Granted I play tf out of pve, but it's all for the end goal of using what I've grinded for in pvp.
I also wouldn't touch the game if it was no longer a complicated, really deep, looter shooter.
Also I prefer the bar for health and a bar for armor, over just a single bar of health. It's really just aesthetically pleasing seeing those bars.
And targeted loot should be everywhere, but it maybe should be in groups of gear, instead picking the exact gear that you want. Like maybe groups of damage type gear, skill type gear, armor type gear, protection type gear. And maybe something like the darkzone and some other modes you can choose the exact gear you want. Because the way countdown is now, there is no reason to go anywhere else when trying to get some gear. And being a pvp player there's not much that I do except a few certain things like it was farming convoys for a long time for leveling up, and going countdown for when new gear was released. Theres almost no reason for me to do anything else except also getting resources.

I think one thing I'd like to see with the next game is being able to have your gear level up with you, for example. Say you have a chest piece you got at level 29, and you just leveled to 30. Instead of having to farm for a new piece, you could put materials into upgrading it from 29 to 30. I know that'd likely somewhat defeat the purpose of the whole "looter shooter" aspect of the game, but I think it'd be an interesting addition.

I would add to this idea with the possibility of 'sacrificing ' gear to boost an item. With the idea that Grey items only level/boost it a little bit, while an exotic would boost a non-exotic much more. Giving you the decision of "do I want to keep this exotic, or boost this other same slot piece to make it better". Thus making exotics not always 'best in slot'.

I really wish the armor system was more like payday 3's armor, or a modified version of division 1's health bar, specfiically for pve attrition. I am talking about baseline agent mechanics, and am not taking gear or skills into account.
In division 1, you only needed a medkit if you lost over a third of your health, otherwise you could stay in cover and regen to full. You were not punished for taking minor damage, provided that you played well and only took damage infrequently.
In division 2, no matter how you take damage, the outcome is the same. You will need to kit up to regain any armor. Health regens to full, but as we have seen in division 2, that's pretty much only used to roughly gauge your hidden 1-hp invincibiltity.
If division 3 were more like payday, you would be able to passively regen armor, but the maximum you can regen gets chipped away by damage. Large hits of damage would break your armor much more than small ones. Using an armor kit fully restores armor to good as new. This punishes small hits less, and big hits more.
edit: also to clarify, I want skill healing to be able to remove this "broken armor" mechanic. I don't think division 2's system of armor regen should exist outside of talents, but if it does it also should repair broken armor..
edit2: similar system I loved was constitution from ARPG Grim Dawn. You had a bar that was solely converted into health after not taking damage for a short period of time. You could invest in it to make you more sustained tanky, without making you more burst tanky.

Great vid as always. Back on D2, but I've been lurking on Utoobs for your updates on the game. As always, excellent stuff and I appreciate your dedication.
Building on the mechanics and systems in game today: A compact/dense city would be highly appropriate. DC is just sprawling and has a lot of void. Something like Amsterdam would be nice. If it needed to stay in the US and NYC is not an option, Seattle would be rad... snowy... and it has an underground network of catacombs (little known fact).
I'd love open world PvP a la Dark Souls invasion system.
A better gear/stat system that doesn't put crit on a pedestal.
Cross platform IF they make kb/m support native on consoles.
Something they'll never do, but I would absolutely love, is bring back the vanilla PvP or something similar to the Lineage 2 FFA PvP, where you go soft rogue with friendly fire and hard rogue when you kill another player.
I'd also like to see the DZ experience really fleshed out. It feels, in TD2, like a left over from TD1, and not the main experience. I think this really hurt diehard TD1 players when the DZ was effectively abandoned by the developers. Yeah, they've made tweaks here and there, but no where near the level of attention the rest of the game has received. The DZ needs to be more dynamic and more risky. NPCs are the dumb AI everywhere else in the game. The zones feel dead. There's no real menace or dread-ambience to the DZ besides the DZ rats that "1v1-bro" at the gates. This feeling of dead or empty zones could have something to do with there being 3 different dark zones and a limit of 12 players in each DZ. The scale of the zones we have today does not translate well to a 12 player cap.
To that point, it sounds like the devs can use TD2 for testing ground for features they'd like to implement in TD3 for feedback. So, hopefully, we'll see small updates that bring some positive change to the game while we wait for half-a-decade to get our hands on TD3.

7- The End Game and End Game Sytems:
Current TD2s Open World, but with (at least) weekly reasons to play ALL the content, not just the fastest content. One way to achive that is to have a PRPOER reward system balanced at the start, with longer missions giving more loot, more resources and more xp, with a "perfect" time/reward ratio.
I believe that Target Loot should remain in the game, specially we get random Stats/Talents on Exotics. And I do believe that we should pick our Target Loot for the Dz.
The weekly projects should reward soething REALLY GOOD, like "special/empty" Blueprints, that would basically be an Exotic Weapon/Gear or High End Weapon/Gear Blueprint that would allow us to make it as "library" for specific pieces, like for example: instead of having 20 Ceska Chests with diferent combinations of Stats and Talents, we would have ONE Ceska Chest, and we would "infuse" Stats and Talents from diferent Ceska Chests that we get, and then it we would choose what Stats and Talent we would have "active" for any specific loadout. Having 500 inventory spaces and 5000 stash spaces would be an even worse inventory management experience!
As to other (end) game systems, I believe that Calibration should work like in TD2, with a library of Stats and Talents, which would actually allow us to keep track of what can roll where.
Optimization should be in game day 1, but with very high costs, so it would only make sense to optimize our REALLY preferec pieces, but it would exclude the "sepcial/empty" Blueprint pieces that I mentioned early.
Expertise should NEVER return to the game, as it is the WORST system ever implemented in the Division, and probably one of the worst systems in ANY game!
Also, I would love to have a "auto loot" (similar to what we have in Outriders and Destiny), with that loot going to a "post master", which would do wonders to things like Countdown, where we lose SO much time going through what drops, and running back and foward to make sure we pick everything up.
8- I would LOVE the option to go Rogue as a permanent choice, but I understand if they simply make us SHD or Rogue for the story purpose.
9- Incursions vs Raids, I prefer Raids, to be able to play with more people, and having bigger parties, which is great when the game is very popular, but I understand that Incursions fit the player base more, so I would be fine with that as well.
One thing I would love, if we get the random Stats and Talents on Exotics, is that the loot drop chances work more like in TD1, where we don't need to wait for the new week to actually have a decent chance of getting the Exotic. For me it would be something like: each Boss would have a 3% chance of dropping the Exotic; every session we could gain 5 keyes in the Incursion, and we would always have a 10% chance of getting the Exotic on the Chest EVERY time, with maybe that first time of the week having a 20% chance or something.
10- The game modes that I only really LOVED were Underground and survival but I belive that was because of the setting, so I don't know how survival would work in a diferent setting...
In any case, whatever they choose to do, I'm sure some people will love, and some people will hate.
11- As to the long term plan, I'm sure that the game will be made to last A LOT more than the previous ones, and also will be ready to be upgraded to next gen consoles when they release.
Now, what I would LOVE to see would be TD3 starting at Gear Score 1501, and then ALL of TD2 would be remade to be added to TD3, and that would have a Gear Scpre between 1001 and 1500. I'm sure you see where I'm going with this, TD1 remake with Gear Score between 501 and 1000, and the a prequel where we play as a FIRST WAVE Agent, with Gear Score between 1 and 500.
    12- Armor and Damage output.
Now, I left this topic to the end because I agree with the problem that you mention, but disagree with the "solution".
The problems we have no are the fact that we "live" in the "hybrid time", where we can be a "one person army", with 2M+ Armor, and still do INSANE damage, specially because of the STUPID amounts of Crit Chance/Damage that we can get now.
My solution for this would be two: first, by having the Stat system from TD1 on Gear, and the recoil on weapons, we wouldn't be able to have that much damage output without investing into weapon damage, and only be able to get around 30% Crit Chance and maybe 60% Crit Damage from Stats and Mods; and then, I would RADICALLY change the way that Main Cores work in the game, and follwing the idea that I saw/heard from Mutant Cowboy a while back, I would use the Skill Tier system to other Cores, Offensive and Defensive.
    So, to give the example of the Offensive Tiers, it would work something like this: Tier 1, 10% Weapon Damage; Tier 2, 20% Weapon Damage + 10% Weapon Handling; Tier 3, 30% Weapon Damage +15% Weapon Handling + 10% Crit Chance; Tier 4, 40% WD +15% WH + 15% CC + 25% Crit Damage; Tier 5, 50% WD + 15% WH + 20% CC + 40% CD + 5% Damage to Health; Tier 6, 60% WD + 25% WH + 30% CC + 60% CD + 10% DtH + 5% Damage to Armor + 5% Damage to Elites.
So, if you made to the end, kudos to you!
I know there's some "weird"/unpopular ideas in there, but that would be a great TD3 for me!

WOAH 😮. This video was great Rogue Gold. One of the things that I honestly liked was when you admitted that the open world of Division 2 is better than The Division was. I'm a PVE fan and ABSOLUTELY HATE and won't EVER touch the DZ. Don't care what weapons are exclusives there. Even though I don't care for I was pissed that they made a friendly DZ. Give me a great campaign (Division 1), better open world (Division 2) with some fun skills allowing me to choose how I want to play along with smart A.I. with a good end game and it's on and poppin. One last thing. You're so on point about having a 2 year plan with staff to support the game because it's going to sell. Division 2 game has an active player count.

Ubisoft has implemented the choice between looter shooter and realism in Ghost Recon Breakpoint . So I think it could work ! Just having the option to turn it on and off would be great to implement without anyone losing the same experience. Like Ghost recon allowed. Not everyone is fans of it, and there are many people believe it or not who just dont get the looter shooter aspect rather how much you explain how to build or whats meta etc. Some people would just prefer realism and stable ttk. Like Ghost recon. I promise you I had more friends who preferred Ghost recon more than the division because of that aspect alone. It also allows the devs the idea of just adding story based content instead of gear all the time. So im with that idea. For myself and others. Even though I make insane builds, I would enjoy the realism, preferably. It gets lonely sometimes, being nearly the only one out of my friends who knows how the looter shooter system works and how to use it effectively.

Now to the "real" thoughts about TD3, and the wall of text.
I'll try to mostly touch the points you made in the video, and try to "answer" to them.
1- The game shoud obviously continue as a "RPG/looter/shooter.
If in the future it goes more shooter or more "rpg", will depend on what the Devs want, but I think they will move away from the very tanky enemies, and instead will try to add MORE enemies in higher dificulties.
When the players were very vocal about how much more tanky the enemies become with more players in the group, the Devs said the it would be better to just add more enemies, but the systems didn'r allow that, as it would cause to much stress in the game, so I believe that with the new consoles that could be easier to do, even though, xbox series S... :/
As ti the "future proof" and the external app, YES, but I'll talk about more about it some points ahead.
2- As to the story, it will most likely be the confrontation with the Black Tusk, and possibly with "our leader", which will probably mean that we'll be the Rogue Agents.
As to the city, I don't know many US cities like I "know" NY, but I think the atmosphere of TD1's NY will never be matched. Not only the cities themselfes are probably nos as cool as NY, but the fact that we'll keep moving foward in time will take us away from that pos apocaliptic feeling that we had in TD1, so, any city will do for me, and I would really prefer a winter setting.
3- Having the choice for the campaign dificulty is so obvious that I don't believe they won't do it.
The main doubt that I have is if they'll do like in TD1 where we could select a diferent dificulty for a specific mission, or if they do it like you sugested, and "copy" that GREAT idea from Destiny, and allow us to choose the "global" dificulty of the game right from the start.
I'll also talk about the overall dificulty of the game, and will say a controversial, and not popular thing: I miss the infamous Patch 1.3 of TD1.
I don't miss everything about it, but I miss the "need" to have a dedicated group to tackle the harder dificulties, and I miss the "need" to have specific rolls in a group, by having build synergie, with the need to have a team mate buffing our power/defense, and having a healer/CC, and someone de-buffing enemies. I still remember playing with one skill player with a VERY strong Smart Cover and Pulse, another one with strong heals and CC, and another one with Sentry's Call to actually allow us to do real damage. Obviously I wouldn't want something so restrictive as that period in TD1, but I do miss the dificulty.
And before people start to say that I'm gatekeeper, or elitist or whatever, what I mean is that I should NOT be able to do the things I can do on Heroic.
Also, I still remember in the beggining of TD2 when we "all" asked to Heroic dificulty to be avaible against all factions, because only the Invaded missions had that option, and we wanted that CHALLENGE against other factions than just the Black Tusks.
Also, I think the the loot drops should be like in TD1, where the higher the dificulty the MORE loot it would drop, and not better loot.
4- The Open World should be shared, again, like Destiny, and that would be great to keep the DZ as a PvEvP area like you said. I HATE PvP, but if the Dz is done right, it's an AMAZING place!
The Dz should be ONE huge area, like in TD1, and like the ORIGINAL at launch, in there it should be the best place to farm, not by having exclusive loot, not even more loot, but better loot.
The Dz should be the only place where the loot has clearly better stats, to somehow replicate the feeling of the initial Dz, where it was almost the only place where we could get High Ends to drop in a regular base.
Also, Dz rank should be VERY important, like at the beggining of TD1, and instead of forcing the Dz to be a huge PvP arena, the Devs should bring back the feeling "danger", where PvP COULD happen, but going Rogue would be a thoughfall decision, and not something done just shits and laughs, because there's no actual punishment for dying Rogue now.
So, and area with REALLY though enemies, where PvE coloboration would be the smart move, but where we couldn't trust anyone.
5- Now, the Gear/Weapons/Exotics/Mods and Loadouts:
a- Gear should be like TD1, with each piece being diferent from others, and with stats only being avaible in some pieces. Also, the main Core on Gear should be totally random, and not "locked" like on TD2.
b- Weapons, again, like TD1, with weapons having only two Stats (the specific weapon damage and the specific "special" damage) and having 3 Talents. If they don't want to have such a huge RNG, or allow for a huge power creep from Talents, they could have 3 tiers of Talents: Tier 1, the current (strong) Talents from weapons; Tier 2, the "special" damage from the third stat on weapons currently; Tier 3, the curent handling Stats from the current third Stat on weapons, but with actual good values, to actually mean something and be an active "chase" for the GOD roll.
c- Exotics should work like every other piece of Gear/Weapon, and have random Stats (gear) and two random Talents (weapons). This would actuelly make the Exotic grind/chasse intersting again, instead of the stupid system we have now, where we farm/grind Exotics for a stupid Exotic component.
d- Mods, I think they should be "simple", with just a positive Stat, and should work as the current weapon mods, where they are a Staton a "list" that we couls use as many times as we wanted, to save stash space for Gear and Weapons, but should also "drop" with random rolls. So, they would "drop", but instead of us looting them to our inventory, we would get a "notification" saying what "mod" with which value we got, and if we had that "mod" on a build, and we would get a higher value, the value would change in our build automatically, either immediatly, or when we entered a safe area.
e- Loadouts should be saved in the "cloud", or in our statshes, so I can pick any loadout with any character, without the need to keep changing character to move things to stash, and then to the other caracter. Or have an external app avaible at the launch of the game, to do like in Destiny.
6- The movement, I prefer TD2's, but I don't have a strong feeling about it, so whatever they choose, I'm sure that I'll accept whatever choice they make.
The Health vs Armor bar, yep, Health bar all the way, with Armor serving as damage mitigation, and having Armor pircing instead of Damage to Armor. But again, as long as we can have faster heals, I'm good either way.
    "To be continued..."

PVE environments as promised from the first game.
Full survival elements like promised for the first game where you help not only yourself but A.I by finding physical medical supplies in stores or apartments or where ever that is very limited.
A fully alive world around the player(s) at all time with no skippable scenarios that may occur.
Full day/night circle with a 12 hours circle from day to night & back.
Rogue NPCs in the open world. (never only triggered by a mission or checkpoint)
Division NPCs in the open world. (never only triggered by a mission or checkpoint)
    Gear is never level gated.
Enemies & Allies have no levels, they have attributes & skills akin to experience rather than bullet clowns that can be shot forever.
Let stealth become a real factor like Splinter Cell.
Have dynamic dialog that you as the player can choose between.
Never have any mission be the same & never reuse the same missions or areas unless the specific event occurring calls for it to avoid repetitive broken boring gameplay.
Give us all 3 ability slots back.
Have destructive environments that persist throughout a players world & even better have it sync with others destruction of their worlds too.
Have Rogue players actually have story missions they can do too, so if you choose to go rogue you're rogue in your own open world & not just let that be a pvp darkzone mechanic.
Death should matter much like Tarkov & weapons should act like real weapons.
And there is a lot more I could mention but that should cover some of it.
The story of The Division 2 + the DLC was the worst crap I've ever played, Aran Keener became a villain for no reason trying to recreate what he fought against while also trying to help civilians at the same time.
He was suppose to be the anti-hero that would open the eyes of all division agents that the agency was using them, but instead they just turned him into a terrorist with the most boring plot ever written.
"me mad, me repeat the same that was done to me, haha I'm smart."
Seriously Ubisoft, hire people that can actually write good stories ffs.
And when you have people playtest your games at your studios DO NOT FOOD POISON US LIKE YOU DID ME FOR DIVISION 1 & then have the low IQ not to add me in the credits afterwards because I had to take care of my health.
    The studio is incompetent.
11:00 and this is where you're wrong again, gear sets based on difficulty should not be a thing, if you do this, you will reward players who are better at taking on A.I & effectively cause PVP to become unbalanced in every aspect of the game.
Do what Tarkov does, make weapons be weapons nothing more.
Let your own skills decide if you're the victor or not & this is where death plays a factor too, let your death mean death so you have to either go find more gear or take what you've looted prior that you've stashed & use that; just like Tarkov.
It means you have to keep looting for more gear in the event you die, because we all know that gear becomes irrelevant after playing for 3 days.

About end-game activities. Those activities should NOT be static as they are now. It is boring when you always know what to do and when. End-game activities have to be dynamic. For example, "roaming gang" - a gang of enemies randomly walking through the town, you must fight with them and probably captivate their leader and deliver him to HQ alive.

I would love a system like Path of exile "maps" where you can either craft or drop random to a certain extent "areas/dungeons" with different rarities with modifiers to difficulty and rewards go as hard and as far as you want essentially infinite if designed well, i get it would be harder to do in a modern "realistic" setting, but could be like you take the train or metro to "lost/dark" stations. I would also REALLY love a proper "pet" build since it has been my favorite since Necromancer in Diablo 2. Maybe something like a class/tree with customization and levelable Boston dynamics style dog robot since it already exists IRL right now with different configs or maybe like a Ai Merc/Agent system if they can make it not too busted but great for solo play but isn't a requirement, like you could level them and customize them for healing or debuffs or supports another long term progression it could even be like a companion like a Police/military K9 like a hunter in wow if they don't want ai agents or robots. All of these are really personal and wishful thinking stuff and probably aint gonna happen since it's probably too far.
EDIT: Also just more MMORPG features in general like proper professions, like we have in fantasy mmos like blacksmiths,alchemy,tailoring,farming/cooking/fishing they can add a lot of replay-ability and casual fun progression even add to end game depending on how in depth it is, just more long term goals that inst just perfect gear rolls or more damage. A "mount" system if it is at all possible to balance like ATVs or whatever they deem fit could also be as in depth as they want with different configs like extra storage/speed also a great avenue for cosmetics, that could also be tied into the fantasy of the "map" system where the "map/dungeons" could be randomized supply runs on hospital tile sets or a mall tile set factory set.
We could also get a proper player "owned" housing system like an apartment/personal hideout we could build up and decorate with different features and crafting stations and tie it in with the professions where you could give merc/agents tasks for crafting or salvaging, again a long term goal that isn't just gear and since most of the cities are abandoned anyway it just makes alot of sense. could even do guild/clan housing in like an apartment block or abandoned mansion where you invest resources to repair and upgrade/furniture it in a more personal and proper player way compared to the just menu system in the previous games where everyone ends up with the same bases and no personality.

I highly agree with the snow I think that’s a given. I believe though that they need to drag out this idea of the virus mutating and I would really like to see the city still in the crumble like state because as we all know that added to the atmosphere that we all love. No need to rush to get into society working again. Story wise I believe it would be a good idea to flip the script in terms of us being rouge. Us being on the other side fighting against non rouge agents. DZ should be one big DZ and stay true to the division identity

UI sounds and interaction in div1 i thought was better along with skills/builds and classified gear. The map and diversity of of content from div2 was awsome so abit of that wouldn't go astray... although i still play div2 weekly i am and will always be a div1 fanboy 🤘

Basically the 2013 version of the game. All The visuals... New net code!! Procedurally generated missions and events! An Armory instead of a cache for more stash room. Keep 1:1 scale ratio. Expand into other boroughs of NYC. Make more areas of the city accessible, more buildings, rooftops, basements, sewers to explore. A more open world experience. More than one angle to approach an event, like sniping from rooftops. 1 to 8 man team in PVE. Have a big wolf that escaped from the zoo as companion that will fight with you with the ability to bring them on missions, or not. Make armor relevant again!

Great vid, with a lot of aspects to cover. Except the recoil coming back I'm pretty much on with it. The recoil on the div 2 is off enough. And let's be real: EVERYONE STILL REMEMBERS with great warmth and nice feeling the "laser beamed" G36 at the beginning of the first division. No one complained about that and everyone exploited it. Only after that rerrible nerf, names like "Lighweight Police M4" and "Lvoac" started to surface on the PVE area. people on console never or almost never could make a content vid with LMGs cause the aim was so off that....and if they changed to PC, they clearly saw like a new world of possibilities with it. That was a great idea. I never thought the "chicken dance" was a core attribute to show skill per se, but there's opinions and opinions, I get it. Also, please be careful how you loosely put the "wanting some special gear that will award you higer stats" something without specifying. Companies have never forgotten the pay to win. Hell, the very same Buggisoft (sounds better in Spanish) was trying to push NTFs on Ghost Recon Breakpoint. If they can push it, they will....so maybe be more specific with them on that front? Thanks again for the vid

I also like to see Gunsmiths (Guns), blacksmiths (for armor), electric/mechanical engineer (for skills). These guys improve your equipment and also have you do missions and side missions to get certain things that they need to help you to get better equipment. When u talked about a skill tree, I think if that happens then they need to have it linked to ur loadout because different builds in the loadouts, which means different play styles. If I'm not mistaken, the spec weapons at first wasn't linked to ur loadout, which meant all loadouts used the same spec weapon until it was changed to where u can use different spec weapons for different loadouts. And speaking of spec weapons with loadouts, if they can, they need to make it where u can choose what weapon u invest in the spec weapon tree for each loadout. For example, the tech spec u have AR, SMG, and pistol in one loadout but in another u have shotgun, LMG, and pistol. So for loadouts that have the same spec weapon but u are using 6 different types of guns, u won't be loosing damage potential on 3 of the 6.

    ||| Managing your inventory through your phone is a sick idea I'm all out for it!
    ||| Same as the seasons or just winter so I can finally experience that Division 1 atmosphere y'all love so much!
    ||| Setting wise, I'm good wherever, as long as it's an urban setting ( I love urban warfare) 😁.
    ||| Weakspots for tougher enemies for PvE 💯 should remain and evolve it just like you said.
    ||| I don't like PvP on Division games honestly but for the sake of players who has grown to like them I fully support whatever they have planned for it.
    ||| I can't give much opinion with DZ as I have only been there maybe 4-5 times while I'm already WT5 and played all the additional off-site locations but I support a single larger DZ ( probably gonna get farmed in the DZ a lot with that but to hell with it, that's what makes the DZ excitingly terrifying). 😂👍
    ||| I have fantasized about having to pick whether you stay SHD or being Rogue as two different player factions in the and game, that would be a cool feature, it's definitely one of my "shower thoughts". 😂
    ||| Haven't been a part of Raids yet, can't comment on that.
    ||| Don't know anything about Commendations but I would love to have in game Reputation system for the players, you know for helping and being an all around good guy something like that 😆 (though I know Shepherding works a bit like that but I now totally forgot about that system).
    ---------------My own personal Wishlist--------------
(I'm but a simple man, with simple wishes)
    ||| I'm a sucker for anything tactical/realiSIM (realistic damage/ realistic bullet physics/ bullet drops anything that would make gunplay and combat better) I know this is the wrong genre to ask for it but if they can add a bit of that It would greatly be appreciated.
    ||| Feel of the guns are to arcady and feels pretty much all the same to ME.
    ||| I hope they change the gun sounds to something like what Insurgency Sandstorm did, where getting shot at makes your balls go up to your stomach. 😂
    ||| Crossplay
    ||| Refined Stealth system/mechanics (I enjoy solo as much being in a group, so having an option to approach things discreetly would be appreciated).
    ||| Option to go crouched and go prone.
    ||| Replace the Hollywood combat dodge roll to something more believable. I know agents are fit but I know they're not super human, rolling with 2 primary weapons plus your specialization weapon is just not gonna happen.
    ||| Last and most important of all, " A Pet Warhound" that's top priority 😂.
That's all I have to ask, pretty simple and pretty useless compared to the wishlist you guys had but that's my wishlist. I'm so sorry for such a long entry, I can feel some keyboard warriors breathing down on my neck with those silly requests I put up above lol, though I'm not keeping my hopes up with those especially with build being a core feature of the game, my suggestions would completely disregard that mechanics.
Writing this novel, makes me much more excited about the game😅, I still can't believe we're out here talking about a Division 3!!!
    Cheers everyone. Much love ❤️🍻

I like division 1s atmosphere but division 2s world space I like to have more smaller activities to do like patrols from destiny. I liked certain things from both games. The only thing I would really incentive build diversity in pve and the dark zone would be counters. Like an offense builds are good against defense builds. A defense build would be good against skill builds. And a skill build would be good against offense builds. You could also tie abilities and stats with certain builds. This way certain builds are not specifically overpowered because they have a counter but overwhelming for pve. And if all else u can brut force ur build through other builds/enounter but take some type of penalty for it. This way players can have fun playing the was they want to play. That's all I have to say but hopefully the division 3 does well

Many want improvements upon pre-established ideas and foundations. Me, I'm still waiting for the Tarkov-esque immersive survival simulator teased nearly 11 years ago at E3. I want an implementation of diagetic UI elements, food and water playing a real part in gameplay, both in and out of combat, NPCs having varied, intelligent behavior in the world, _open_ interiors as opposed to barricaded ones, physics-based environmental destruction, striking imagery, both from beautiful vistas, and creepy/disturbing environmental detail, like a subway station lined with fresh infected corpses, Dark Zones organically spilling out into the wider world, both narratively and mechanically, endearing players to NPCs by showing them the suffering taking place, whether inflicted by the Green Poison or enemy factions, like people coughing blood on the streets, or Cleaners setting people on fire, and players beginning their journey _at the start_ or _HEIGHT_ of whatever pandemic or calamity hits. No more Wave 2 or 3 agents. No 10-20 year time skip. Put players in the shoes of Wave 1 agents. _That,_ to me, sounds like a far more compelling and flexible premise than a clean-up crew doing busy work for their handler, or the JTF.

I'd like to see personal safehouses, that can be upgraded/enhanced and that other agents can visit. Perhaps if it is upgraded far enough over time it can provide temporary bonuses for agents. Actual VANITY mods to use for the skills. Totally agree with the targeted loot. I returned to the game after taking a year and a half off, and since playing for only 1 week I've found practically every exotic that can be dropped. That's far too easy, not cool, and reminds me of what Blizzard did with original WoW over the years which ultimately made me quit. Sure, I spent weeks with RNG trying to get a certain exotic in the past, but that's just how it was and made finally getting it so much more incredible.

Armored enemies should all have armor that you can tell they are wearing armor and that can be broken with them react accordingly the same as heavy units. For example a Hyena having an “armored” head and all they’re wearing in game is a gas mask is very counter intuitive and messes with your suspension of disbelief. Plus they barely react to getting shot which is another change I’d like to see. Shoot them in the leg as they’re rushing you and they stagger or trip instead just pretending they aren’t being beamed by an assault rifle. And we as agents need to have some type of melee attacks instead of just the useless “gun butting” we do that the enemies don’t even register. I guess human enemies should act like humans when getting shot or smashed in the face with a rifle just like when they hit an agent and we all but fall over .

I want the LVOA-C as an assault rifle again lol a lot of the assault rifles in DIV2 are lacklustre compared to Famas, police m4. I think Paris would be amazing, the architecture is beautiful, I don’t like how they only made the strongholds as legendaries I think the division 1 did the legendaries better, I want Descent back but I want them to actually make it very playable, the problem with it is it came out late and they can’t keep everyone happy so they kind of didn’t care about it because not a lot of people were asking for new stuff for it, not saying you’re wrong about them ditching WONY but that’s sought of what Ubisoft does, they release something then ditch it, happened to a lot of franchises they’ve made and standalone games

First off, I just wanted to say thank you to NothingButSkillz, Lt Buzz Litebeer, MarcoStyle, and of course yourself...RogueGold for continually producing Division content. As a day 1 player in 2016, I cant tell you how many times I thought about leaving this franchise only for you guys to keep me motivated and continuing the fight. Thank you!!! In terms of Division 3, I would love to see a prequel, this has always been my thought with Division 3. Allows us to go back to NYC, back to the snow, back to the characters who we all love and love to hate and get some backstory as to what led to their ultimate decisions to stay good or turn bad, while also getting some new faces to love. But, the biggest reason for the change, is to create an atmosphere of loneliness and being an island of yourself while being a part of the first wave. I've read a lot of books regarding first waves in WW2, Vietnam and Afghanistan and always remember how difficult it was and the sense of everything around you is against you. This should give us a reason to call on for support from other agents as this big city is too large to handle by yourself. I want a game that forces us to matchmake every time in order to advance in the storyline. Anyways, thank you so much!!!

They should add more variety of the existing skills. Instead of always adding more skills whenever they want to touch that aspect of the game. Like adding more skills is needed for more innovation but adding more to current skills is better. Because it allows people who enjoys a certain skill gets more variety. Like for example the drone should have more capabilities. Like to be able to use status effects bullets like fire, blind darts, and poison darts or even shock rounds. The turret did well with this idea by adding the explosive turret. The hive needs more status affect instead of just boost and bleed. The list goes on. Just being more involved in what already exist help alot for the community instead of adding to much. Less is more sometimes. While extra is invited. 😊

Honestly, I would like to have some kind of joint operations with JTF fighters. Where the guys were assigned the main role, and not the role of whipping boys.
Of course this may not go with the concept of environmental attention on a player-controlled agent. But I would like to see some changes.

a bigger survival map with more players and use the virus and contamination as a way to force play into a final area a little more like a battle royal mode with more players would be epic on top of all the other stuff, would be also quite interesting to have a battle royal mode for endgame players that you get to run your builds in to keep the mode fresh and open to many ways to try to win it it could be targeted loot as in you can pick up what your real player is currently wearing and in the mode the contamination shrinks the map in stages and in stage one grey loot variants of your current loot would drop then 2 pink then gold or something like this , the contamination and map shrink would be making it very difficult to actually fully power up in the final circle because of players. I agree a pve dark zone aint a good idea it changes what dz is all about id also like the same consideration for pvp players that they won't have to do hardcore pve content to get stuff, all items should be able to be gotten in dz and if dz content isn't good for eve players and if its unfair for them to be forced into dz for specific loot its also the same in reverse not all solo pvp players want to do 100 incursions to get loot they need to continue playing pvp competitively. many friends I played pvp with lost interest because they dont enjoy monotonous grinding of bot content that mostly you only loose because of lack of enjoyment and interest and thus people play it carelessly , pvp players dont choose after completing the game to play bots for a reason because its boring compared to pvp and pvp strength shouldn't really be based on how much pve content you can actually force yourself to play , all loot should be available in dz for endgame players who dont like pve , pve players in division 1 complained about dz when they had choice to not go in and then they changed what we all loved to suit them I think they would do well to cater to each fairly instead of listening to pve players who dont want to play pvp and thus ending up catering mainly to them , division 3 like you said should be the best of both but it defo should correct the balance or ability to for either pve or pvp to play only what they want to play and have options to get loot without doing content they dont really like so much
