I think one of my fave things about only watching the Vods is being totally in the dark as to what the thumbnail is referencing and sitting in anticipation for it. sometimes I can kinda parce them, this one was a real head scratcher.

Calling it burnt as heck steak remind me how my grandma wants steak so cooked it may as well be charcoal. But one time the waiter switched my grandma and uncles steak, he didn't say anything cause she said it was the best steak whe ever had and he didn't want to ruin the moment for her. It’s amazing how frequently this occurs… it’s mostly because people don’t like seeing blood. There’s this very common delusion that “if I don’t have to see blood or bones, it’s just food and it doesn’t come from anything.” Reminder: meat is animals. Let’s be a more environmentally aware generation than this… and I don’t mean everyone has to be vegetarian. Just KNOW WHAT IT IS and deal with it. Put up or shut up. And if that means your meat intake goes down, so much the better.

the only thing i could think about at the end is how they could have put the prep station by the kitchen access space and the plates in the dining area so julia could plate the pre-prepared dumps on the way out. but i get that they were just having fun, not going for ultimate efficiency
Always happy to see people play this one, but it seems weird because I also watched all of the early stuff the game went through via the Yogscast (who helped develop it). So I have seen.. the gamut. And it's always fun to see someone's first run at it!

Imo the only time anything backseating can be good is if you're informing them of a vital thing they missed and aren't going to see unless they're told about it. Or helpful and really important mechanics that the game never tells you about and you likely won't figure out are a thing on your own.

If you can miss something important and the game has *no way* of showing you, then it's either fine that it was missed OR it was crucial and the game is doing a bad job allowing itself to be played. No one ever needs a backseat gamer to walk them through a game that is well designed. If every player needs an external guide or a wiki just to make it through the game, then the game isn't very good in my opinion.

Just a heads up! you were never actually getting the benefits of the restaurant types you were selecting because you didn't have enough decorations! on the left side of the screen it tells you how many decoration-points you need per buff.
