Steve Lemoine Honed blade was nerfed in Double X, it only give you Sharpness +1 and Attack up L
its only on the white fatalis set and thats trash.Maybe on others too but idk and its not that good as said above.And yes the set he uses is the jho/ceana XR template set. And this in particular is the massively used Crit Meta version of it and its easy to make just take your WE+5 000 charm from 4u (crit+2 in this case bc of the 000 weapon)Its kinda the allround set in this game:3

Battle worn Diablos with an already injured horn gets absolutely mauled to death by lvl 140 Apex Hyper Arch-Tempered Massacre Demon Canta.
The two Cephalos jumping out at 8:10 is kinda a badass ending though...
Jesus tap-dancing Christ, the sounds that thing makes are terrifying. Never mind the fact that its attacks literally rip the Earth apart. O_O
And I love how it even gets its own bad-ass theme music instead of the same tired old music all the other Deviants get. I just wish all the Deviants had their own unique themes. :/
@Danielfire 55 Nah all the Deviants with the exception of berserker armour Diablos. They all have the same theme, even the Blast Blade Glavenus.
Canta's weapon is the Fatalis Danakira:
330 Raw, 55 Blast, +15% affinity, OOO
Only downside is that it NEEDS Sharpness+2 else it gets a measly Blue sharpness.
For those wondering, the Hellblade Lv15 has: 300 Raw, 42 Blast, +5% affinity, no slots
But it has White and Purple sharpness naturally so if you can't get Sharpness+2, it's a great Glaive until you can make a set similar to Canta's and want to use the Fatalis Glaive.
Sure was a refreshing run from the usual Brave LS. Good work Canta.

@@100purenacl3 Balanced Kinsect. Purely because of the triple buff extender, which takes it from 60 to 90 seconds.

Amazing! I remember seeing all these days your MD Diablos runs on streams and in this video I can see how good you've gotten and learned the right positioning for the attacks.
Imo it's more impressive exploiting a good positioning like you did with Guild IG than other hunters getting a better time just timing the Brave Ls GP right.
Though it got a bit out of hand near the end it was still cool at least you got sub 7 like you wanted.
Remember when it took Canta almost 40 minutes to kill MDD the first time? Good times... good times...

MHGen has had all of it's DLC for roughly 5 months now.
They better announce this game at E3.
We will get it but not that soon if you have gen you should watch what is becoming meta and prepare the full upgraded weps to highrank so when MhXX comes you already have the stuff ready to upgrade.
Also you could stack on Honey etc and also Resource points specially the last one as in MhXX you will spending those by lots recycling useless charms as Maximeld is actually good in Mhxx.
I've already done all that...
Every last bit of equipment in my box is completely maxed out. It's all ready for G Rank.
I have so many items in my box as well. I'm short on nothing.
I've already completed everything that I wanted to do in MHGen. I'm ready for XX.
I've even achieved 100% quest completion.

For chargeblade i still found adept the best one since u have
Better guard points and the perfect guard if u have decent timing,which can be super usefull to combo the monster endlessly.
For some weapons guild style isn't the best at all,just facts.

Reasons why I hate fighting Diablos, they give me heart attacks cause of the charge and the dig. Now Im looking at a Massacre Demon Diablos and Im pretty sure its gonna make have a cardiac arrest.

His glaive hits 100% crit with that setup and balanced, doesn't need the speed1 kinsect's boosted affinity.

Kann ich das speed kinsect aus gen/x auch für die IG in mhxx nehmen oder gibt es da jetzt einen besseren? Hab die crimson fatalis glaive und hab einfach das speed kinsect genommen was ich auf der Hellblade ig hatte.
kannst speed kinsect behalten, aber wenn du das gleiche Set machen kannst, was ich im Video benutze, dann nimm lieber den balanced kinsect für die Crimson Fatalis IG, weil du auch ohne speed kinsect auf 100% crit kommen würdest

you see... I can do this , a few minutes longer actually. the only difference is I am a little bitch and would be using adept insect glaive. I can't get the perfect dodges like canta. I'll strive to use guild just like the good ol' days in 4U. good hunt!!!! :)
if anybody is curious, adept insect glaive with the balanced Kinsect is what I use normally. I use absolute evasion because with adept IG you can't call back the kinsect manually. so its safer than sheathing the weapon. I can get times near canta's using adept IG. I don't see why people shit on adept IG. I think it's great. lol. striker IG is the shit one lol.
There were times when if you couldn't into MOI, you would just have to, you know, _dodge_ out of the way.
lol. I like being hyper aggressive. but I do think that adept is a crutch for me. which is why I'm trying guild more and more.
How on earth do you use the adept IG? the one shot with the bug kills it for me.

Adept IG is pretty terrible. The ability to recall the kinsect is pretty vital, and even after losing that ability, you gain very little in exchange. I honestly think Capcom made Adept IG bad on purpose, to make people try Aerial IG (which is actually super fun). Guild IG is where it's at, for reals.
Can't think of many situations where the adept dodge + counter would be significantly better tbh but both styles are so similar that it probably comes down to personal preference.

CantaPerMe for the shout and the steam attacks adept can get some advantage, but the problem is the hunting art is limited
Yeah, the hunter art limitation is the biggest problem imo. You need Absolute Readiness to maintain sharpness and getting orange can be a bit tricky. Luckily though there are Apceros in this area for free orange and with this setup you can still get 100% crit even with the Effect Extender, I might try it out with Adept style in the future.
