Hey Canta, I really enjoy your hunts, and I enjoy Monster Hunter quite a bit as well. Problem is, I've run into a personal wall in-game, both in terms of progress and enjoyment. The Silverwind Nargacuga. I don't understand why this monster gives me so much trouble. I've fought it and vanilla Nargacuga so often that I have a decent understanding of their hit boxes and "weak points." Yet even understanding its tells and attacks, I just can't beat the silverwind. I have it's full armor set, and am trying to get the silverwind soul skill, but the only reason I have that is because other people helped me on the quest. I've fought him with my mains, and even tried absolute dodge lance, but I can't beat it. The closest I get is with LS. So, personal story aside, and awkward segue aside, I'd like to see you beat the silverwind. Specifically, with my main main, Adept LS. HAs are up to you, but please do it with Adept LS. I realize this is starting to sound like a quest description, but I really want to see what it looks like to effectively use my weapon against this monster. Thank you for reading, and if you do take this "challenge" then thank you. If you don't, there's no problem there. This is just an optional (re)quest. Thank you.
I don't make any mhgen videos anymore, but feel free to drop by my stream when I play MHGen and ask for a silverwind run, I'm more than willing to do it during the stream

seeing this kind of gameplay is why I want to learn brave HBG (I just am confused about the controls, when I get around to it eventually maybe I'll learn properly).
Also good to see this set would be easy for me to produce given I have a that tali already, altho mine is an improved version of it which also comes with thunder atk+13, been abusing it since I got it altho I'm nowhere near as good as you so I don't get those kind of results XD.
Damien Gagné It's quite easy to learn actually. Press Y to do a Brave Reload (when you see the little spark press X) and just shoot away until you get that gauge up. The whole new roll in brave mode is all i-frames. and there's a run if you hold b. Nothing really different when you think about it, just brave reload a ton and do what you do with an HBG lmao. Siege minigun ftw ͡°͜ʖ͡°
cool, thanks a lot, already know for the brave reload its just the power run I didn't quite get but that's really helpful, might decide to go for HBG first before hunting horns then (given I don't play in a team quite just yet)

Also, 80% certain you can drop Shot Booster for another damage boosting skill for this hunt.
Doron488 Shot Booster is one of the strongest damage boosting skills for pierce gunning tho

Under normal conditions that'd be true, but these aren't normal conditions. Shot Booster is functionally a vacant skill here.

Emishimaru - Sama if ya mean the 2 tone thing when looking at armour rarity, that's an introduced mechanic called "Transmog" where you get the visual style of 1 set, but the stats of another

I don't know shit about Japanese but from what I can tell you are using pierce 1, can someone explain why not 2 or 3? I've seen many runs like this just using pierce 1
The Pierce 2s and 3s would go straight through him without doing all of their damage. They have more hits so since Stonefist's best weak point is his head (which isn't that big of a hitbox) it's just better to go for Pierce 1s. Also Daora's HBG is so good that it's easier to make better sets for, which other HBG's need skills such as Recoil down to be used.
Im pretty sure if daora HBG could fire lvl 2 in siege mode people would be using that, but lvl 1 is the only option and seems it works well enough on the weapon
I've been refraining from watching MHXX videos until a few weeks before a localized release, but holy shit is Brave style like THIS in all weapons? Because in Gen Adept and Evade HAs really held my hand when doing solo speedruns, I only started giving those a try late in 4U. I have hunted alone for about 6 years and when I got internet I was so pleased to hunt with others (512kbps, but still managed to play smoothly in Tri. Getting into the room was the issue), usually hunt for fun but there is the occasional speedrunning group when the stars align with randoms.
In short, is Brave style Adept on steroids?

Good thing they got rid of styles and arts in MH World. This is ridiculous. So OP it feels like it kills the fun. There's actually no reason to play other styles since brave came out.
There are quite a few weapons which are still better with striker or guild...
The fun point is everyone's own opinion, but i personally like it
