I guess, he ment that new Melis skills has the same targeting / cards-type (no stances, etc) and by hero´s look similar to Meli. But yeah, new one still having good amount of unique features and strong enough be happy obtaining him

I'm mainly a pve player, and I'm already in champion 5 in ungeared so I'm chilling, but I wonder if he'll be better than Tmeli for endgame content. Hopefully he is or at least on par cause I can guarantee him but if not then I guess good luck to me getting Tmeli
Managed to pull him and he seems a bit underwhelming compared to tmeli and t1u for pve, maybe just me but it's kinda annoying that the new melis atk related stats is only for one card every 3 stacks, because often times the boss will not even aoe but single target some other character leaving his passive inactive until i can get some cards.
Edit: turns out he hits pretty hard, even without the atk related stats and debuffs, just gotta find out which can be applied to dogs

U should do single target first cause the hp they have the more damage the card does
Aoe with estarossa can get you more stats
So the single target will be stronger
With estrarossa you aoe first

Extra 15% basic stats is better than almost 85% extra damage?
Like u could aoe with zeldris first to get 3 darkness (15% stats) and Chandler passive (30% damage)
And then single target with meli since zeldris won't do that much

Man when this gets global i really hope the game won’t shaft me as it did with Escanor. I SPENT 1.5K GEMS ON THAT FREAKING BANNER. And only got the stupid pity Escanor at 900 (Note, i didn’t spend a single penny on gems at all in this banner)

People don’t see a million damage single target and call a character trash. You have to realize that a million+ dmg is so overkill you’re technically killing the unit you target more then once. It’s all about set up and he’s super easy to set up which makes him phenomenal for quick games especially with his insane cc.
