I had the same thing happen to my T9 2 times within 5 mags. The O ring inside the barrel that seals the probe right before the shot, blows out. I have the feeling that this O-ring runs dry very fast and starts to rub because the probe pushes it (in semi auto) past this rubber very fast. @@Reviewbuddy296 i def will. everyone on the forums are saying aea guns come with a shit ton of issues. kind of has me looking at other options as well. do you think the airforce talon p would still work?

It's a NEW release and those issues have been addressed I would suggest contacting the retailer you purchased from and have your gun sent back for to have the issue repaired. I would say once you get it fixed do a follow up review and I'm sure you will feel significantly different.
Honestly AEA needs to run these guns and test them themselves for a while before they sell anything, they tend to sell airguns that the customer is literally paying for a tester. They selling rough drafts, like all the other airguns they make.

The fx hybrids work good. I also use a car a/c oring for the barrell seal. I have the green oring kit from harbor freight and one of the sizes fits well and because of the color it's easy to see if it's in place. The barrel seal seams to go if it ever gets 2 pellets in the breach and u fire it. The wooden dowel rod works good as it's plenty strong enough and it won't damage anything. Keeping everything oiled up helps and the weak link is the magazines, keep them oiled up too. Also the spare oring piece in the gun is where the air chamber is that feeds the barrel air. If u use the orings from there it's best to replace with something as theyseal the air and keep it directed to the barrell and help prevent it from coming out of the slotI actually have every oring kit from the store as there are so many diff uses for them. I saw where someone made cnc guts for an aea magazine, I saw a stick mag that wasn't from mcabe speed. This is my first PCP and thank goodness I fix everything as it has been a blessing due to the design of this . I mainly got it for self defense in case I ever require it. Also the air tank that's used as the front handle breaks the factory oring Everytime u loosen or tighten. I used an oring from the red harbor freight kit and it has stayed put and continues to sealafterseveralremovals of that tank. If u go to HF also pick up a tube of the super lube grease as it helps on the seals as well as the really fine, dry aluminum threads that are used on the entire gun. So there are 7 of 8 different oring kits at HF, they have 2 large kits one red one blue metric and standard. They are in a different areas than the others and are $10 each. All the others are where they have all the nuts and bolt kits and run $5to$7 each. So to replace the oring in the slot that's labeled 8. 0 what I did was put one in the groove and push it down tight then take a razor blade and carefully cut it to half the thickness so I can use half on the opposite side. Though I've never had issues besides it hanging up but I haven't had it do it since I moved away from the Hades to the Fx hybrid .357 which fire perfectly as do the Vortex strike and the AEA center punch. Honestly believe its time AEA move to a new design for there semi autos for overall quality and reliability tbh personally I think this guns design will be the future of air guns once everyone is exposed to it- th-cam.com/video/SP81roNDjSg/w-d-xo.html
@@Reviewbuddy296 Agree. honestly excited to see what this air gun brings when it ships and is reviewed later this month on the air gun channels because the design is what I've always dreamed of and supposedly its as easy to take apart as a real ar rifle. :)
22LR guns are referred to as "plinkers" and are not recommended for self defense... and they have 50% more power, and almost 3 times more shots per mag, than your Leshiy. The only thing that makes airgun home-defense even remotely plausible is the assumption that you'll have the element of surprise on your side with an armed intruder... & with the Leshiy's low stopping power, you may lose the battle even if you strike first considering your adversary is potentially returning 15 shots at 300+fpe (standard 9mm) to your 9 shots at 100-120fpe. If you watch the numerous videos on the internet of armed encounters with home intruders, virtually all of them end up with the intruders fleeing in a panic due to the victim opening fire. In those situations it's not the actual bullets that mitigate the threat, but the intruder's perception that they are being fired on. That said, you can purchase a nice "front-fire" blank-firing double action semi auto replica pistol with 50 rounds of ammo for $125. The pistols are loud with a bright muzzle flash and eject spent shells making them indiscernible from the real thing when firing. Unless you secretly have enemies in the Russian mob, no home intruder is going to stick around for a gun battle once you start firing. Conversely, the Leshiy is not readily identifiable as a weapon/firearm when firing. As for a situation in which you actually need to put a hole in a criminal; a $600 AEA HP Max .45 with a $200 pump action kit will reliably hit an adversary with 4-6 rounds of 300+fpe stopping power, severely reducing the likelihood that he is able to return fire. So, in a nutshell, for a total of $925, you can have a tool that can effectively deter a threat (as evidenced in countless videos) and another that can effectively eliminate a threat if needed. I'm in the same situation as you... I'm trusted by the government with people's lives; being clinically licensed in 2 states, yet I'm not trusted to possess a firearm to protect my family (like the unvetted illegal immigrants flooding our border are) because of an incident I was involved in as a teenager... so I would love to hear your take if you think there's a better way.
Dang you sure like to type, maybe write a book on the subject, you’re halfway there. I legally can’t own a firearm, that’s my situation. I’ve stated that in videos before. Since I’m a law abiding citizen now this is a viable option for me. And I would be going for headshots at close range which has been proven to be instant death. Even at 150 yards, look up videos. I won type as much as you but I will leave you with this. Cherish your 2A cause it can be taken away. 🫡

When you run out of ammo, you can melt tire weights, roof lead, melt your old pellets and slugs, man you can even shoot a wooden stake, arrow or create your own sabots. The ideal zombie apocalypse lead slinger.
@@jbhk7977 that sounds amazing! I’ll definitely look that up! .50!!! Dang
I went through a similar situation with my ex wife. I’m also a vet, been on one combat deployment, own a small business, and I have a great career at company that’s extremely hard to get into.
Got full custody of all my boys, raised them all from the age of 3 being the youngest, the ex died a few years ago from drugs, and I still can’t own one. So I’ve gone the PCP gun route also.
Even if that BINTAC has more power it still is quality like the LESHYI 2 at all.
@@JohnVentarino-ey5ln do you have both of these
@mohamedkallon1491 I have the Leshyi 2 now and I sold the Bintac because it felt cheap to me and I winded up selling it for half of what I paid for it 2 weeks later to a friend of mine.
@@JohnVentarino-ey5ln but they’re all toys lol, what felt cheap about the Bintac? That’s weird because the online comparison of the 2 says the Bintac is more durable besides its Mag
That may be true but they need to beef up the mag.
Thanks for commenting.
@@Reviewbuddy296 it’s not true lol, everyone that has a T9 loves it. One thing I like about Bintac is that you can get Mags 3D printed with 22 rounds. The fact he’s saying the gun feels cheap discredits anything he says
Sorry to hear you T9 has been having issues for you honestly don't don't doubt it AEA needs to work on moving away from the traditional hammer to hammerless like the L2 tbh.
I agree I have the 30 caliber Leshyi 2 and I shoot the 44 grain FX HYBRIDS and they shoot very accurate.
Wow that’s a nice gun and I like the M4 design! That is the future!
@@Reviewbuddy296 Agree. honestly excited to see what this air gun brings when it ships and is reviewed later this month on the air gun channels because the design is what I've always dreamed of and supposedly its as easy to take apart as a real ar rifle. :)
Just get the 600 barrel you dint need to buy a whole other LESHYI 2 .
That is an option. Although I want the hand guard with the Picatinny on the top and bottom.
I guess is could switch it all out.
You are so dam lucky buddy having that beatiful property to be able to do what ever you want and not have to look for places to shoot.
What a battle 2000dllrs vs 899 show em brother
Yes sir! 🫡 thanks for watching!
@@Reviewbuddy296 Yea, I guess writing like 12 sentences was taking it a bit overboard. I mean it's not like it's a matter of life and death or something. I understand you now though. There's an old movie called "Home Alone" I think you'd like... it's full of home defense strategies that are right up your alley. Good luck with those close range headshots. 👍

@@bigdaddyslick4961 Yea the Meg is definitely a more capable gun, but the extra point of potential failure (tank) scares me. If it proves a reliable gun over the next couple years, I'll be making the switch for sure
I rather have a $600 gun then a $3,000 air rifle, come on!!!! Who convinced you this was a good purchase??
You are an idiot I don’t waste my time on your type. You yap at the mouth and don’t know full context of why I say the things I say. Should I waste my time and type it out for you? I don’t even do that for my children so I won’t for you. As a matter of fact, I feel I’ve typed too much already. By Felicia.
@ You claim to not waste your time on me yet type an entire paragraph of something I didn’t bother reading. Thanks for calling me an idiot, I’ve screened shot and will use it to share around social media to show you’re how disrespectful you are for someone disagreeing with you. Maybe that why you’re a nobody TH-camr with no subs… you’re a failed video maker pretending on video. Don’t quit your day job Felon criminal!
A person on the forums likes Edgun products and buys them all directly from Spain. Cheaper, and better service. He got his in four days, no tax.
I hear a lot of the Spain EDgun, I’ll check out the website. Thanks for sharing!
You’re the type that thinks if it cost more, it’s better. Your example about loading was silly, the L was very cumbersome and fumbling to open it.. the AeA is way easier
Is the t9 lethal tho? Is 700 fps lethal?
Oh yes it’s lethal. Check out the Leshiy 9mm test on a ballistic dummy.
Does it have stopping power like a firearm? No.
