Q50's exterior definitely still holds up, it's just that outdated interior that needs a real refresh. A shame a car that looks so good simply just isn't that appealing of a buy when you look at it's competition

I totally agree with you I wish they do a total refresh on the interior is not worth the price as it it look at the display speedometer is not an even fully digital also the shift gear is much better on the qx50 also it does not have a panoramic moonroof he’ll na I love the exterior but the interior tho nop that why I didn’t get it 🥹😞🥺 coz comparing with competency Infiniti interior gets behind 😢

That's a timeless design. I love my S Hybrid... which has stop, start. Lol. The 2 screen system with always on GPS is great. If they were still importing them I would've traded up to a newer one. 4 cyl economy with V8 power. Enable the GPS tracking on the transmission and it'll slingshot you out of corners when you're in sport mode

  • @ryannylander1819

Lightning definitely nice on these… but I agree, really need to give the steering more feeling and be less sensitive and light. Like you said, the susp dampening for a lux car is pretty meager and should offer a bit more plushness or have the ability to go between sporty and plush. The infotainment yeah is lackluster and odd but not a showstopper…. Rear interior layout seems kind of lame and should be redesigned. I hear the 300hp versions offer more tuneability as well. The q50 is definitely a used car bargain if you can put up with some of those negatives.

I have 2021 red sport. Pretty much all of these minus ambient inside door lightening. You showed the cameras but you didn’t show the front camera. Also I changed the emblem and added one that can change to different colors. Though this car is long in the tooth I would buy it agin for the price, quality, looks, and power.

Kirk, if you feel that the Q50 "doesn't have that luxurious feel a sedan in this price range should have" is because this sedan shouldn't be sold as an Infiniti, but as the Nissan Maxima (instead of the FWD w/CVT we got) at a slightly lower price range.
This was for years the true Nissan Skyline in JDM, for crying out loud! Besides, the Stagea (the JDM Skyline wagon) should've been raised as a RWD crossover instead of the Infiniti EX / OG QX50) as the Nissan Maxima Touring.

True, but every other entry sports/luxury sedan has less space and features than the Camry BEFORE you start adding options and packages. But even within its non-luxury class, the Camry at least on the inside looks and feels the cheapest compared to other popular entries like the Accord, K5, and Sonata.
