Before anyone says anything bout how I played: 1- First 8 min was my first attempt in this area in the game and I didn't die. 2- Godzilla wasn't upgraded at all. 3- Fighting burning godzilla was my 2nd attempt.

I think this game is actually amazing it actually feels like you're playing the Godzilla movies and the fighting controls are pretty good and don't get me wrong the games were good but this one is my favorite that's just my opinion
I love it. The godzilla atari series was ok but the last one seemed rubish compaired to save the earth. And the monsters were more fighters and move combos . this one the monsters move like how they did in the movies which is amazing that was my dream for this . i just wish the GMK gojira and ghidorah would be good GMK ghidorah mothra and boragon would clearly be defending monsters.
This game is excellent, wonderful, what's my ONLY complaints, it should've been ported for the Xbox too and they should've added more monsters, nothing more, that's all I think they should've done, unlike many people who just complain about the graphics and crap

Orthopox Centurious block and parry is well needed, for a start this is their game, next one can become greater if they learn what the players want which is way more combos and super attacks, more scenes and story, story of each monster and how did it appear then you control godzilla to win probably would make a good story but this one is very normal game as you will get bored after 20 hours, I like it but it could have been better

Maybe given the high amount of people whining about it, they may develop an update to add more content and improve it. Mojang does that with minecraft as with other companies. so maybe they'll join in on the trend. No guarantees though, I no nothing about the developers really.
Duck360Gaming2 The fight is ridiculously hard without any evolutions. Once you get the important ones though, it becomes a much more manageable fight, especially the breath upgrades. Using the dash attack into showa jump seems to be an effective "a good defense is the best offense". Without those though, I had to let godzilla 2014 get close and just distance him with the front tail spin attack and break any combos with the invincibility roar (using atomic breath would sacrifice chances to save your health). Since this fight is only available after at least the 2nd run, I suppose they expect you to upgrade often enough to strengthened yourself for the true ending.
I think people forget that this is supposed to be more of a Godzilla simulator. To emulate the movies into a game. It isn't widely accepted, and I don't like it near as much as the older ones, but I do find it fun. If you bought it and don't like it, then that's your fault. I wouldn't recommend it to your average gamer, just diehard fans and people who could enjoy the slower pace of the older movies. Stop freaking out about it and stop doggedly bashing people who do like it.

No interruptions, No "Destroy the Generator" shit, just one on one, satisfying monster combat.

After Shin Godzilla, I feel like the next game should be called Godzilla Unleashed 2 and bring back all the monsters from the first one( including the 3 Godzillas from the 3 different eras) and add some new ones like Monster X, Godzilla 2014, and Shin Gojira, etc.
I'll admit, this is a pretty epic moment. Godzilla is on a rampage and threatening to destroy the entire planet. Humanity does everything in it's power to stop him, but to no avail. Just as all hope is lost, the new Godzilla emerges from the depths to challenge his burning counterpart. He puts up a terrific fight, fairing better than any other Kaiju before him, but even he cannot stay Burning Godzilla's wrath, and is defeated. His efforts were not in vain, however, as he managed to weaken Godzilla to the point where the humans can freeze and subdue him. Without any sign of hostility, the new Godzilla returns to the depths, until a new threat arises.
I love that the old Godzilla was one of destruction form the start but the new 2014 version was here before humans and is more an antihero and just came to kick some ass and dip out

Sam Ortiz well don't forget the game is just a port from the original ps3 version, with added playability for the other kaiju in the game, with translations to english, and probably with updated textures as well. if they redid the graphics they would have to redo the entire game. They would have to tweak the engine to fit the stress requirements and such, and that would probably take at least one more year to put out the final product. I think the graphics are fine, considering that they added three new modes to play in and 21(i think) new playable characters.

Meh, the ending works from a cinematic perspective, but it probably rubbed a lot of casual/younger fans wrong that you fight your way through all this crazy stuff, just to be frozen up and dumped into the ocean. Not the most rewarding prospect to someone's time invested in _being_ Godzilla lol.
I don't care what anyone says. I purchased this game first day and have been addicted ever since! Its just plain out fun and awesome. Fuck critics. Hands down best Godzilla game ever made easily.

Now if this game had more development time, better graphics, more monsters, complete multiplayer, more sound variety, better combat, a lock on feature, an easier upgrade system, no invisible walls, better acting, and an actual, engaging story mode. Other than replaying the same levels over and over and over again, one hour each play through. Maybe then this game wouldn't get all the flak it did

I feel like this game was not perfect, And I think people are bluffing when they say this is the worst of all time, like have you even seen the sequel to the NES game? or Godzilla on Gameboy? THOSE were fucking garbage. One didn't even relate to the source material, and one was so unfair and broken, But this game is playable at the very least.
Now I know this game is still bad, It really is. Mainly the issue with this game is the lack of diversity, Which I see people complaining about the most, but what really pisses me off is the grinding that Is just like destiny. They made it so damn difficult to upgrade (Hell, Even UNLOCK!) The Kaiju in this game. But this game did have its moments.
But if your looking for a REAL Godzilla game, buy Monster Melee, Save The Earth or Unleashed. They didn't have strong stories either, But the monster combat was smooth and balanced, and the Couch Co-Op with your friends really makes these games shine. No interruptions, No "Destroy the Generator" shit, just one on one, satisfying monster combat.
Etor Christie tbh I liked save the earth liked save the earth because of the huge number of stages and liked unleashed because it had more characters and looked so rugged and and epic af. so of I had to say which was which, I'd say save the earth is for just fun, fooling around, and having a good time. as for unleashed id like to think of it as a competitive Godzilla game. but this Godzilla game is mainly just for a movie simulation purpose, don't get me wrong I still like this game a lot but I just find unleashed way better than any other Godzilla game out there. just my opinion tho.

Without any sign of hostility, the new Godzilla returns to the depths, until a new threat arises.

Sam Ortiz well don't forget the game is just a port from the original ps3 version, with added playability for the other kaiju in the game, with translations to english, and probably with updated textures as well. if they redid the graphics they would have to redo the entire game. They would have to tweak the engine to fit the stress requirements and such, and that would probably take at least one more year to put out the final product. I think the graphics are fine, considering that they added three new modes to play in and 21(i think) new playable characters.
