You don’t need to deform the waveform with the polar coordinates filter. The Audio Waveform filter can use any mask as source. So if you add a circle mask and select it as source, the waveform will follow (wrap around) the circle mask
awe.. I love the attitude!!! The "Dehumanize" part was awesome to put in place because so many do that anymore. I've subscribed and rang that bell for all of your content. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Great! I would've loved this tutorial couple years ago when I was looking for it! Stoked that I can link to your video now whenever someone asks me "how do you do the waveform" ahah Cheers!
This is a fantastic video and I am jus now learning how to use after effects but I’m Lowkey struggling on the part when he says “I’m gonna resize that” at 5:00, cuz it just happens and I didn’t really get to see what he did because, wanted to know if anyone could help me on that
for resizing you can either select the photo and resize from the preview window or unfold the tab where all the files are and adjust the size values. you should deffo check out the full AE walkthrough tutorial Herman does. 👇 th-cam.com/video/mjBb6ZqNuD0/w-d-xo.html
Hi! I hope you see this... I'm trying to do multiple tracks, and for some reason two of the three waveforms won't react at all. They're both on separate solids, in different spots on the video, and are attached to different tracks but only react to one of the audio files. Do you have any idea how to solve this issue?
The only thing I can think of is that the solids have the same audio as "source". I'd double check that first, and then probably check if the file names are possibly the same.
What are the render times for this kind of layout? I've noticed every time I've tried to render Audi audio spectrum that it takes a lifetime to render. Just curious what it takes for you.
2 options. - Export it with a black background and then use the screen blending mode when you're editing - Export Pro res with the alpha channel box ticked.

Huge thanks for zooming in most of the time every option for next steps you do editing / showing effects, it makes easier to watch guide.
IT KEEPS ON GETTING BETTER
Olu is droping bomb nowdays.
Dave is one of the most invaluable teacher on this channel ! Thankyou for this awesome tutorial and thankyou for always helping in tough times 😊😊
Too kind sir. 🙏🏻

Great Stuff Thanks!
great stuff love the concept I had been thinking to just have a single image but love the idea of using the talkers images and seperate waves

Helped me launch my first video. Big thanks!

Would love if you coudl link some of your favorite waveforms with envato, this is awesome!
This is beautiful!!!
i love u man
Great video
Whenever I export from AE, I always throw it in media encoder, It exports as MP4 & usually its much quicker!!
Same here.
I just queue stuff up in Media encoder and then continue editing. 🤟

How about adding it to an image?

Can you do this with videos too?

Anyone know how I would export a waveform on a transparent background?
2 options.
- Export it with a black background and then use the screen blending mode when you're editing
- Export Pro res with the alpha channel box ticked.
can i do the same with MP4 instead of video?
how do you add a picture and have it overlap with opacity with these tips ?
now it will only export to wav but obviously, id like it to be mp 4.. how do i change that?
👍
I'm not a bot and the link is not scams or an IP grabber btw
