This I didn't learn in After Effects when I was studying in a university for Animation Course in Bangalore, India when the lockdown started. Now, I am able to refer to your tutorial and take notes of it. Thank you!
This was incredibly helpful. There is one more thing I would love to see, which is a way to make the top of the circle average out the frequencies so the start and end of frequencies don't look way off of each other.
@@SmertimbaGraphics it can definitely be controlled with the start/end frequency values, it's just that this is not a consistent solution as songs tend to jump around frequencies and it's not always viable picking one which will stay stable. That being said, I used the techniques you showed in my own video and I am super happy with how it turned out! Thanks again!
Great tutorial, thanks! Short, simple and easy. 👍 Just a small question: At the top (where the two ends connect) there is sometimes a visible "cut" between the bars visible because the low bass and high tones basically meet each other and it can look somewhat bad sometimes. Do you have an idea how to elegantly hide this? Is there maybe any way how to "connect" and extrapolate both ends so the sinus wave connects flawlessly?
Sure, to remove the background though you've got to either set its blend mode to screen or remove the black background altogether by using luma key effect
I do it by exporting as QuickTime (mov) with RGB + Alpha channels. It will create a video file with transparent background, which can be imported in other projects or video software which supports transparent videos, in case you want to use it as an overlay in a separate project.
Cool tutorials, thanks for that. But I stacked at the problem with render of this file. What I mean, when I am go to render, media encoder do not see the sound ( in output file ) that I used in the project. How can I fix this problem? Can you give advice?
hi Sir, i found out that this method has a Rendertime of almost 2 hours. is it possible to minimize it ? can you recommend a method with less rendertime, but also goodd effect ? thanks sir. love this methid
You can either do that in the project itself by placing a video below the solid layer or render it and then add on top of the video, might need to set layer mode to screen to remove black background
you're one of those that comes straight to the point. very informative and time saving. thank you so much.
Great to hear, that is always my goal✌️

I believe it is controlled by start/end frequency values

You can adjust the start and end of the spectrum to match the two ends, even after you've applied other effects to make it round
Thank you for lesson! I'd love to get how to do animations reactable to music. Appreciate 😊❤
My pleasure mate❤️
Thamks man. Subbed

Can this be added to a video as an overlay, meaning have a transparent background?

Make sure you still have an audio file on the timeline that you are rendering, theayer with keyframes alone doesn't have any sound in it
thanks
Welcome
thx
Hello, can you make a tutorial on how to make flashy effect that also reacts to song pleasee
Flashy effect could be done by adding exposure effect or brightness and making it react to the song
@SmertimbaGraphics could you show step by step. I suck at ae 🥺
This video will give you the understanding of that, it works the same for all properties: th-cam.com/video/V5HLeR5jaFM/w-d-xo.html
@@SmertimbaGraphics Alright, I will give it a try!
Update: I just used the brightness effect and it works! Thank you

It could be heavy if you stack multiple effects together, it is normal I would say 😂
@@SmertimbaGraphics thank you sir.
Wow!!!
😁👍
how would you remove the background and make it transparent
Set layer mode to screen that will remove the black background
how do you increase preview length mine only does 5 seconds but my song has fade in at beginning and cannot see what the spectrum looks like.
You mean it doesn't react to the fade part at the beginning?
Cool
How to export while keeping the file small? I want to do this effect for an entire podcast lol.
H.264 is the best for small file size I guess😁
💖💖💖
❤️😊
how i add a photo befor that ??
Like a background?
now how to add the wave to a video?
You can either do that in the project itself by placing a video below the solid layer or render it and then add on top of the video, might need to set layer mode to screen to remove black background
Bro start point and end point is not increasing and decreasing🥺🥺
Like no reaction at all?
I lost my brain cells doing these things in Canva Pro🙃
...😂😂😂
