IPHONE_PRODUCTION's 914 Its It's just fine line masking tape. as long as the preporation to the helmet is done properly at the beginning and each coat of paint is dried before masking them it won't leave any marks. We find that Jtape make the best fine Line tape for the job.
Hi Ronald. I use the spray pressure recommended on the clear coat technical data sheet. If your getting runs then it comes down to incorrect atmospheric temperature, incorrect mix or over application. The first tow can be checked by using a viscosity measuring cup before application and checking your results against the technical data sheets viscosity readings.

It's an ultra high solid acrylic 2k clear coat. It is the same that is used on car finishes.

What pressure are you spraying your clear at. May first project is coming out good but i had some runs at the bottom. Any suggestions

How do you get that rubber lining or stripping on the helmets off (under the visor) ?
You can use a scalpel to remove rubbers if its necessary.
