This recipe was inspired and adapted from a recipe posted on Bramble Berry's TH-cam channel. I absolutely loved this recipe but found that I don't always have some of these ingredients on hand. Here is the link to that video if you are interested in a great free recipe to use or adapt like I have! th-cam.com/video/1x-KOubMx10/w-d-xo.html
I always put the SLSA first then sprits it w a lil alcohol cause once it’s damp it doesn’t move then I put my dry ingredients on top then mix it through and do the rest.
I love this video and I love that when you add something that you explain the reason why and the benefits of the ingredients!! Thank you so much for sharing your work and talents!!
I add Kaolin Clay instead of Cream of Tartar, Plus I don’t add my Citric Acid & SLSA till last after I add my Wet ingredients in I use my Mooncake Press, But I’m yet to try the Ice Cream Scoop.
SLS and slsa are both detergents along with sles and all the other detergents. One might be milder than the other but they're still all detergents and several of those are derived from Palm and coconut.

Hi there, SLSA (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate) in the handmade cosmetic community this is a standard natural surfactant. It is derived from coconut and palm oils. It is a bubbling agent. It is also known for it's gentleness. It doesn't strip the skin of moisture. It is a better option than SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) which can cause skin irritation because it has been said that it strips the skin and is harsh. It is also said that SLS passes through the skin because of the molecular structure. There are some other natural surfactants like SCI but I have been very happy with the SLSA.

Can this recipe be used to make bath bombs? Also can you do a video on how you make your bath bombs? I hear from people that bath bombs can be made with just using baking soda. Is this true?
I joined your $5 tier first, then when search didn't work, upgraded to the $7 tier. Not sure why, but when I search this, it just puts me into the "Join the conversation" field for most recent post, no search results displayed. Any help with this would be welcome.

Lovely❤❤how much time do they take to dry..do they just form a hard film or dry rock solid?
I love this..
I give the slsa a spritz or two of 99% rubbing alcohol once I add it to the bowl and that keeps it from really going airborne
wow very nice recipe...
Those look great to make
thank you! They are perfect to make!
I'm a kinda newbie and I have a question why not put the slsa in first?
Oh how nice!! I can’t wait to get the recipe and make them. I want to try that fragrance also. Mmm. Thank you!!
Yes! They are so fun! I just posted the recipe!
Looks great.
How do you package them?
Thank you. Wonderful video.

So if you dont care about having any foam or foaming action you can just axe the cream of tartar & SLSA, right? 🤔 imma try it
Oh gosh when you put water in the bowl And made all those suds, I am going to have to get me some of them, suddenly I want to take a bath
Right! They will change your bath experience forever, lol!
I have to ask, where do buy the items you use in bulk?
They look great! Will that fragrance make the finished product brownish from the vanilla in them?
Hilary Quinn thank you! I’ve never had a problem with vanilla and these bath melts
Sunshine Soap and Candle Company Thanks for the fast reply! Do you package these individually or as a set? I’ll have to check this out!
What's the ingredient you used that gave you those perfect bubbles??
Can you use cocoa butter soap base

What is baking soda make from please? In the uk we have baking powder or bicarbonate of soda so im not sure which one to use? X
sporgyinher40s UK baking soda is sodium bicarbonate not baking powder ❤️
Sunshine Soap and Candle Company thank you x
Use the sodium bicarbonate
Question... Can you use Mango butter instead of Cocoa Butter? Cocoa Butter tends to have a distinct scent that may override other fragrance oils.
Yes, I believe you can substitute with mango butter
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany Thank you. I signed up for your Patreon earlier today as well.
@@sashayglow you can use deodorized cocoa butter if the scent bothers you lol
How do you package these for your customers
How do you package them? Are they susceptible to humidity like bath bombs?
I shrink wrap them with my shrink wrap machine and it works great!! I have never had an issue with humidity and this product.
