When varsity season is over and the boys go and play summer ball with their respective teams they always seem to have a lot of fun. It's serious but not that serious. My son is a catcher and the other catcher on his HS team was on the other summer league team. They were both trying to get on base so they could steal on each other. Was pretty entertaining. When we go to our annual beach house and there are about 10 boys (all who played youth ball together since they were 8) all who play HS baseball for other schools what game do they play when not at the beach? Wiffle ball. I only hear laughter and cheering. It is so genuine.
This is beautiful. Even as someone fortunate enough to play college ball and am currently working for pro ball, it’s easy to lose sight that the game is exactly what it is: a game. Games are supposed to be fun and they bring people together because of a love for a common thing. Sometimes the best way to put things in perspective is to see it from someone different than you but with the same love
Baseball has been my favorite sport since I could walk. I miss playing post high school. You guys have it lucky to have such a fun experience I know a lot of us would love to play in a fun event with friends like that.
I used to play for the WhistlePigs. My first outing was at the Sock Puppets stadium on thirsty Thursday. It was a close game when I came in to pitch and let me tell ya… the sock puppets fans are an elite group. They had the most clever chants and chirps I’ve ever heard. Such an awesome team and ballpark
I had two visions while watching the video First was all the players rolling up to the park and during warmups the college players see Trevor Bauer and Trevor May playing catch at a distance. Second it's the ninth inning with no outs and by God's miracle runner on first and second, Welcome to the jungle plays and we see Kevin coming out of dugout screaming to bunt and lays a perfect bunt along third base line😅
I don't have a youtube channel but I did play baseball in middle school and was a good fielder not a great hitter though. If i can find a way to get to North Carolina or find a way get you guys interested in playing your next one in Kansas. I would be interested in playing. I was a really good 2nd base
Looks like y'all had fun. A rare opportunity for mostly non-athletes to compete against a true team can only be a fun experience. That said...NO, not everybody loves the idiotic yelling and chest thumping pitchers do when they get out of a jam (usually one they got into themselves). That's the equivalent of a receiver who has a 10-yard cushion pounds his chest and signals first down when he catches a 6-yard hook and falls down. Even an average pitcher succeeds 70-75% of the time. Maybe in the playoffs when stakes are high, I can understand the emotion. But game 83 of the season...shut up and go sit on the bench. As for bat flipping...if I was pitching, better not. I don't care if the batter goes 465, don't flip the bat. Batter flips the bat, I'd flip the batter. Ironically, I don't care if the batter watches a homerun, as long as he leaves the box while he's watching. I don't care if he leaves the box slowly, just don't stand there in the box and stare. After all, everybody likes watching homeruns, and if the batter hits one, that's showing up the pitcher already. As far as the content creators team...I've heard of a few of you. All I can say is, I can't stand that guy King of Juco. He's just an idiot with a big mouth.
You guys should get coach RAC on your team next for next year ( for those who don't know he was a great college player signed with the National played in spring training then got cut a while later now he coaches a JV team and is a great player/coach while being a content creator)
Beautiful. I want to do it again.
Hiii
Favorite sports tuber, I predict a 3hit game nxt yr
Pitcher was definitely relieved he didn't have to face me a second time

Foolish Baseball wins MVP for the foul ball
Baseball’s the best sport
That’s on god
Wish i would know about this
I live close to Burlington.
Should have recruited matt antonelli to this, played for the padres and is a content creator
How about Trevor Bauer? he is a PR disaster to any MLB team, but a very funny content creator.
My favorite quote from X-files.☺️💪
Yet when the braves pitcher injured Alonso he was “justified”
I wanna be the Peter Brand for the Melonheads lol
I love you too mike!!!!
That was fun😂
99th percentile outfielder jump from me
Infinite OAA
100th percentile dawg in him fielding
Should bring a subscriber to play next year 👏🏼
People call soccer the beautiful game but too me it’s baseball. Man I love this sport

Because I'm a mets fan. I don't find always being let down romantic 🤪
I’m a Mets fan and my grandfathers were Dodgers fans. Men in my family have been let down since we arrived in this country in the early 1900’s.
was this announced? i live in nc i would have gone 😢
Bc I’m a Mets fan
Yep
GOAT VIDEO AND GAME
Burlington isn't far from my hometown

Once the MLB started showing signs of wokeness I pretty much faded away from baseball as a whole.
