  • Which is better Knoxville or Nashville??
    Knoxville Tennessee and Nashville Tennessee are both amazing places to live. They both have pros and cons, and while close in proximity, have very different qualities. I've lived in both, and I love both cities. Let's take a look at what makes these two favorite towns of Tennessee so great, and see if either feels right for you!

      Ha! Im lookin at movin Back! Lived there in 2006 and was hoping she’d mention which is further in the RED 🇺🇸. (Im guessing Knoxville)

      @@jayteesgear knoxville is more conservative by far. Our county mayor is a libertarian former wwe wrestler.

      The people moving to Tennessee are different from those moving to TX and FL. These people are conservative moving to TN to keep TN red nut not for IT jobs or beaches. So done worry. 😄

      @Lucy Guo there may be something to that. I ran into a family from California at boy scout camp and these folks were as conservative as they come.

      @@stevec3537She is saying people moving to TN are conservative so don’t worry! Just because people are moving from more liberal states to TN, people need to stop assuming people are liberal. I know quite a few conservatives that live in CA.

      Omg..lol...smart! I am in south fl ..not woke luckily. But..plan to movebin 2 yrs and TN seems to be the place I will end up. Just gotta choose the right spot.

      @@richardace4029 is the kelso/longview area like very rural where you livenin the middle of mowhere? Can you drive to shopping or gas in 10 minutes or so? Are you in a neighborhood whete the homes are really close together or is a neighbirhood but homes are on an acre or so and you can still see other houses around you? Thank you so much.

    Great video! I miss Tenn! Lived there summer of 2005. Was awesome. As a former pro musician I should probably be thinking Nashville but it seems a bit more Woke than Knox.

      That is just certain towns there are plenty of areas where the median price is much lower

    Knoxville is not even close to Nashville. It’s nothing to do here in Knoxville it’s boring. Move to Nashville its so much better of everything.

    Been to both cities. Both cities are beautiful in their own way. While in Knoxville, I did go to Dollywood. It was awesome there.

      that really depends on what you're looking for! Both are pretty different, I'd keep watching videos as a good start!

    Can you please compare frequency of tornadoes between the two?

      West and middle Tennessee get a lot more tornadoes. So probably safer in Knoxville if you are looking to avoid tornadoes.

    Thanks Jennifer! That's the best video that describes the life here in Tennessee that I have seen. The only thing I might add is that we both have low taxes with no state income taxes and no state property taxes. Also, I have to say something about the people here in Tennessee. This is still the Bible belt but also I think we are the most friendly people in the Country. It's common for people to wave to each other even if they don't even know each other! Or another thing, is we routinely let others go in front of us in the grocery shopping line!

      In a lot of the south in general, people don't wave like they say. I grew up up north and people waved more to people on the street than i seen for instance in SC, NC and GA.

    Great video! One caveat is that you didn't mention baseball teams like the Nashville Sounds and Tennessee Smokies (near Knoxville) when you were talking about sports!

      Nashville does have tornadoes but East Tennessee has the great Smoky mountains so East Tennessee hardly has tornadoes
