how do u go about puting nuka cola down in the machine ? u cant place nuka cola down on its own, so what do u place nuka cola in to then glitch inside the machine ?
It's astounding to me the amount of function people have found by exploiting the massive amount of bugs and jank in the build system vs them just having proper building mechanics. Cool vid, ty.
I did know of all these tricks, but I really love these videos because it spreads the knowledge everywhere. And I love the creativity of your merges! quick tip for the pressure plate, you can use the mannequin to press the plate down or after you place a new plate down you can move it once and it will remain pressed until it is stepped on or moved.
Even better, build a pressure plate then just pick it up and set it back down, now you don’t need to stand on it OR put a mannequin on it! If it ever stops working just store it, rebuild it, pick it up and set it down again.
This is life-changing information!!! I’m new to fallout and am used to sandbox games where I can build. I’ve been frustrated by the limitations on building in fallout and this was super helpful!
Thanks for the tips. I've used the red skull candles, the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil ones, and just placed one in the middle of the long plant display. I think you can do it with other candles aswell. But I haven't got them yet. Hope this helps someone 💜🌛🌕🌜💜
YES!! YES YES!! THANK YOU, MY HOMIE ❤❤Hands down this video is seriously just so spicy 🔥😍 I was wondering how you merged the workbenches. I'm gonna go on a merging spree now hehehe :3c
I have some legacies! And it really depends on the legacy item, for example I love legacy apparel and weird things like quad crossbows. But most of the explosive energy weapons are pretty OP right now. I’d rather have them fixed than removed though. And thank you!!
I've used the pressure plate merge for quite some time, it's so easy to do. However Instead of standing on the plate I place a maniquin on it, works just the same.
Started August this year and is already lvl406 and I have learned quite a lot from other camps by simply looking at them in a picture, ingame or on video(totally not stealing them ideas!😏) My speciality is scavenger camps because I like to build so that they blend into the environment. Favourite locations are the near end of the map in the Ash Heap where green and ash meet, Savage Divide near raging rivers and the areas between Cranberry Bog and the Mire for mini islands semi-inside woodlands. When it comes to merging, I also like the Flamethrower trap and terrain merging alongside the pressure plate. My most used quote on voice whenever I'm building is "Ugh, where's my flamethrower?".
I usually power up my pressure plate, so I can see what I'm doing, but it glitching out does get really annoying. Gotta try the stepping on it technique for sure.
Most of the time when I place a blueprint it will mess up the merge and spawn the items on top. It only works sometimes. I’ve never been able to get it to work consistently
Yup Fallout 76 players using glitch-tricks to do things Bethesda should have already made possible without them. These always amaze me when I see them.
I just began playing at the beginning of the month and am unhappy that junk items I want to display count against my Stash cap. I was hoping to use this idea to merge the junk into the cases. But how do you get those items to appear on the ground, to move them atop the shelves? When I try to drop an item, it goes into a bag, rather than loose on the ground.
Q: Once items are merged together, does this count as 1 item in your camp budget? taking the shelf unit you started with, is this 1 item or 6 after the merge? Nice video, crystal clear tutorial.
It's still going to count as 6 items on the camp budget! But luckily small floor décor is pretty light on the budget so you can usually have a few merged things in a large camp. And thank you!!
@T0nik dop yyou have a discord channel ? Also i have this nuka cola display machine but when i click transfer the nuka cola dont go in there, so what items to i use to glitch them inside the machine ?
I do! discord.gg/Cr7fAFvf And for the Nuka Cola machine, you have to merge the Nuka Cola display rack inside of it. You can put any types of nuka cola on it and you can kinda see how it works around 5:59 in the video!
Interesting methode ! but why isn't there the possibility to simply place objects in others from the game without such tricks? for example like in Halo Reach where you could simply align everything using the coordinate system? Fallout is still lagging behind when it comes to things like this! I don't see any direct GLITCH or player exploited advantage, but rather the probably sensible use of space for everyone! There are so many blatant player homes that have been furnished so lovingly and lively, some certainly too much for my taste, but in itself it just seems alive! Nevertheless, such opportunities should be out of the game and not be solved by tricks. NAJA wait and see what Fallout (?) will be in XX years! for example at the end where he brings the quantum into the machine! something like that could have been from the game! objects collide + objects float and you could just put the bottles in the row in the vending machine, unfortunately that's not easy. If I have the time and inclination, I'll try something like this! even if no one felt interested, ca 90 percent of the lobby players fallout 76 (me too) somehow unreal, but without it it's difficult to progress in the game!
What am I doing wrong 😭😭😭 I'm probably the only person that can't do this 😂 I have the shelf on the plate but every time I step on the plate I can't scoot my shelf in and nothing is dropping 😅
I just got into the game this July. I’m level 70 now and loving it. This is terrific. I’m a good builder. Now I can realize my greater ambitions
What lvl are you now ? 🎉
If only I could build, I still live in a wooden box I built at lvl 100. That was 2,5 years ago...
It's not that hard....
You're just a Gilligan rat
youtube please let me see the other reply
I felt that
Haha! Just experiment my dude it honestly couldn’t be worse than the things I see in these Japanese servers honestly 😅
Too relatable
I still remember when they patched the replacing walls technique and literally everyone was super mad and they had to unpatch it lmao
Brilliant! I really liked the Nuka Quantum machine there at the end. Great idea!
how do u go about puting nuka cola down in the machine ? u cant place nuka cola down on its own, so what do u place nuka cola in to then glitch inside the machine ?
Thanks to you I start my merge journey today
It's astounding to me the amount of function people have found by exploiting the massive amount of bugs and jank in the build system vs them just having proper building mechanics. Cool vid, ty.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH. I love having this extra bit of detail in my camp it makes it 1000% better.

Best video that I have run into for the beginner on merging. Quick, easy, and right to the point. No waffling about.
Vastly underrated video right here. Concise and very helpful. Well done my man. Appreciate it.
This is life-changing information!!! I’m new to fallout and am used to sandbox games where I can build. I’ve been frustrated by the limitations on building in fallout and this was super helpful!
Cool tips! Thanks!! I gotta use this for some items in my camp. 👍🏼. Even for some of my settlements in fallout 4
No problem!!
Had no idea about the CAMP doohickey raising items back up, if merged too far. That's very handy to know.
Thank you for this video! I am somewhat new and could not for the life of me figure out how people were putting stuff on shelves.
No problem, glad it was helpful!!
Yay! I didn't know the PA trick! Learning is fun!!
One of the best merge vids I have seen. Instant follow. Thanks
No problem, and thank you!!
This is one of the best videos for FO76 ever.
YES!! YES YES!! THANK YOU, MY HOMIE ❤❤Hands down this video is seriously just so spicy 🔥😍 I was wondering how you merged the workbenches. I'm gonna go on a merging spree now hehehe :3c
dude, thank you... these are basic enough but make such a huge difference
No problem, I’m glad this video was helpful!!
Awesome 😄 Thanks Tonik!
No problem!
I always wondered how people did this. Awesome tips. Thanks 😊
No problem!!
Been playing fallout since day one and after all this time I've decided to go heavy into camp building so ty for the guide mate
Awsome dude! Btw, i have a question, do you own any legacys and whats youre opinion on them? Great vid as always!
I have some legacies! And it really depends on the legacy item, for example I love legacy apparel and weird things like quad crossbows. But most of the explosive energy weapons are pretty OP right now. I’d rather have them fixed than removed though. And thank you!!
@@T0nik extreme facts!

thanks a bunch, i was looking for exactly this.
No problem, hope it helps!
Love the videos man. They definitely help new players get used to all the new stuff.
Thank you!
Thank you! I was so frustrated with the dumb tall display shelf that you couldn't put anything in.
i have a big project coming up and this will help with that greatly, thank you
No problem! Glad it helped!
I usually power up my pressure plate, so I can see what I'm doing, but it glitching out does get really annoying. Gotta try the stepping on it technique for sure.
Well done. This'll defo help out folks who are out looking for it.
Now you can move them thanks to the free cam!
I love this video it makes it so easy to follow.
We asked and did T0nik deliver! Going to be having some fun building this weekend.👍
Great video. Never thought I would do this but it seems doable now. Thnx
THX i was searching for a simples way to do that
Cool vid. Thanks for the tips!
Oh it's on! About to take my camps to a whole new level!
super tips, just downloaded
THX !!!
It works on playstation as well! Great guide!
thanks!! Does blueprinting the merged item work for reproducing in another camp etc??
Most of the time when I place a blueprint it will mess up the merge and spawn the items on top. It only works sometimes. I’ve never been able to get it to work consistently
Yup Fallout 76 players using glitch-tricks to do things Bethesda should have already made possible without them. These always amaze me when I see them.
Is the pressure plate method patched ? Can’t do it
Super easy, I merged the scrap and stash boxes, I know, cliché right? Well I have huge plans now. Thanks
After you place the pressure plate pick it up and set it down once and it will engage and you never have to power it or stand on it
awesome vid, thanks!!!! :D
No problem!!
I’d you merge with a mat can you save it and blueprint it and place it later ? Or any way to? I can’t
Does it matter what geneator i use because I just slapped down a basic snall one, and its not putting the plate down
Can you just click the pressure plate or do you need to walk onto it? Because this isn't working for me.
when merging, I still to keep moving the object down? Im not understanding the continuous movement on the pressure plate...
thats fkn amazing, im a new free Ps player, and i think i see buying this game when the free month is up
If you place the pressure plate, pick it up, then place it again it will stay stuck down. No standing on it/powering it up/mannequin required.
You can buy the Pressure Plate from NPC vendors under "Advanced Connectors" for cheap
Great ideas, thank you so much
Much sauce. Ah yes
I just hope there's less building limitation in 76 but we got more than fallout 4 instead. But there's still ways to do that, thanks for the heads up.
Thank you

If you get fallout 1st you can get a scrapbox and it doesn't take up any stash
when i build a 2nd camp with all the workbenches (stored) it never lets me place it ...keep getting an error
Can’t get the pa candle trick to work. Candle just hangs in the air after I remove the pa and relocate the pole

Do merge items save on building space? Or does it just like nicer?
Every item still counts towards budget so it does not save on that. It just looks nicer!
This is great! Thx!, Edit Ok. I've been trying this but I can't getting my crafting benches to work. Did they patch this?
So... where do I get the pressure plate?
If you put a mannequin on the pressure plate it adds the right weight and you can stand back and see what you’re doing more clearly.
Thanks so much bro the only problem is i dont own really anything
Thank you Tonik! Didn’t expect you to follow through so quickly👍Can’t wait give it to try!☺
No problem!!
Why can't Bethesda let you put stuff on shelves the normal way?
The workbench merge dosnt work I’ve been trying for over an hour

@@T0nik any tips on placing the machine down so we dont see the legs of the nuka display case jutting out the side =/ but thanks for the time stamp
He's leaving something critical out of not explaining something I've been trying to merge the workbenches using his method for a hour doesn't work
Epic🥰
Had to come back to this video i try to do this and its red for me
You don't have to stand on the pressure plate, you can instead use a mannequin on the plate so you can tell how far down you are going the whole time.
Shhhh!!! They'll patch it again
Still using these a year later
Please tell me this still works now???
Yes, I'm not super good at it, but I just merged a table and the tinker's bench this morning!
This is not working for me
Didn't work for me too

I'm afraid they fixed it. But you can still do this with displays, like the chessboard. This way you can show the Junk
They should just let us turn on noclip for items. Easy.
I like how you can always rely on players to bring new (and useful) life to bethesda products
Hahaha hahaha
I just cant do it. I'll just stick to the rules of the game. 💀
Ppl still play this game?
This game is such a joke. Nobody has time for this BS 😭😂
This does not fucking work im tired of shit not working 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks that worked great! 🫶
