The Greek Island They Don't Want You to See 🇬🇷

I travelled to Syros, an island that that is not as popular as Mykonos or Santorini or Paros but once the capital of the Cyclades. Also know as Siros or Syra. It try local Greek Food and make greek dishes at home. Come along for a long walking tour of the island.

Syros is very special island not touristy cause it had famous shipyards and constructed many ships there. So most of the population was occupied to this lucrative profession. For about 20 years they closed as they bankrupt but now a private company has reopened them and have started production again. It's also the island where many Catholics lived and it's the birth place of the most great composer of rembetika which is a kind of populus music of the 50's 60's and 70's. His name was Marcos Vamvakaris (or Marc).

I bet they didn't boiled separately the beans from the vegies. If you boil them almost to the end (just five minutes before they finish) and then throw them (without their liquid which is full of starch ) you will go straight to heaven if you taste them. All of the starch the beans release just dulls the taste of it.
