I just love how Guy Penrod seems so relaxed and so at peace while singing....
This was taped at Carnegie Hall in Jan of 2002 right after the 9/11 attack and has always brought tears to my eyes.
Me too. There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about what happened that day.
It's been almost 20 years and it still brings tears to my eyes... My girls were 1 & almost 4 & I was pregnant with my now 19 year old son...

Their music is not described by words. We listened only to gospel music on an a stereo with radio in a wood case. Never had a TV, nor was allowed to watch. Today, I'm so grateful God put me in this family. My son, around 15 yrs asked if we could not watch TV for just a week. I replied, Jamea, nothing else would be so wonderful to me but your dad would never allow it. James had put all his gaming activity and stuff associated with it, and when I walked in, he was in a DEEP DEEP Bible study. He's now in a lifestyle God has NEVER approved of and never will, but bc he was raised to know the truth. He's been saved....of that I know so surely, without a doubt. He craved the "Male attention" he never got from a father, friend, pastors, or any male in his life. He was taken and babysat by one of my indescribable niece and her husband, and I know that made a difference. So now we pray. I do not care about TV. Never have. But I started watching the Homecoming group almost the min they started it, and would watch for 2 hrs without ANY resolve at all. They have been such a wonderful mainstay in my life.
BTW, I love Jamaicans!

I have both DVDS from Carnegie Hall performance & enjoy them on patriotic holidays & through the year..One of my favorites is "A few good men".
These guys are so great every single time but Bill Gaither ... what an amazing career in music and in sharing the Spirit.
I play this in my class two or three times a week. I love the inspirational talent and power that this song brings to my class. IF you are needing a boost in your morning that grabs your spirt and pull you up ... this is it.
