I have been flying for several years with model airplanes. But since i have been busy in to my work i decided to quit with it. and now, the more i follow your videos, the more i am about to thinking to start again with this great hobby. My compliments for the nice video's and more , top job :)
Looks like a great model. Glad to see you're keeping busy since the EAA meet. I'm finally getting my house together after the move here to the coast. I'll have more time to play.

I've had nothing but problems with RA engines. The muffler heats up the carb and then vaporizes the fuel. Makes it run erratic or quit. I added a wood plate between the carb and the muffler.
First I've had an issue with RE engine. I had broken it in with regular gas and it had sat for a while. I suspect that was the issue as I normally use ethanol free gasoline.
RCGF engines are junk, lost a few planes to them. Been flying DLE's now for years and they are so much better. I had a few warbirds with DA50's and swapped them out to DLE 55's because they are so much smoother....and had no problem getting my money back selling the DA's to the IMAC guys
Sorry you had that experience … Fitzs problems were most likely a fuel system issue not actual hardware issue .. we find the stinger engines very reliable and good running .. so much so we stuck our money where our mouth is and we powered our B-17G Flying Fortress preproduction model , it was the only 1 model In the entire world for us to test with before finishing development so we needed reliability and power and we got it with (4) Stinger 15cc gas engines (stinger are not the old RCGF engines , they are the new generation of engines and are great!)
Apparently I was dealing with the early RCGF's and not these new versions. DLE has done me well, as has a G38 in my Stearman. I might try them again, but definitely reluctant

I got into RC planes after randomly stumbling onto your channel during Covid
Fantastic! Welcome to the greatest hobby on earth.
My work here is done.
8:57 nice wheel landing!
Still love trainers after 30+ years of flying. Great vid of a nice looking plane.
Love the plan, most of all the Drops and towing, thanks.
Looks like a great model.

@@HobbyView that's good to here. Mine were DLE. I'm really digging twin engines now in those cowels like the Maxi Lift. They run so smooth
I love these reviews.
That was a fun review ❤
Just trying to find info on this model, how are the wings attached? they are removable right?
@danielcarrenofernandez7424 , yes wings are in two pieces l. Held on with screws.
Great video as ever Fitz! Wonder what sort of set up would be needed to put an electric one of these in the air?
You would need a 30cc equivalent motor (~3,000 watt, 10-cell) setup. I think an 8-cell setup would also work. Would make a nice electric.
Is a big lifth from multiplex
Nice video as usual!! What rc club is that?
Johnson Space Center
Ur bombs had parachutes!😂
The best ones do!

Engine was fine after I re-did the fuel lines and replaced the filter. It was user error and not a fault of the engine.
