I've never seen this technique of cutting along side of those thick seams. Cool!! And I've never thought to use the zero stitch instead of reverse! Thanks for that tip too! I keep a hammer in my sewing supplies to hammer on these thick seams. It helps to soften the fibers and then the machine can go over it with ease. I don't think there is anything prettier than the stitch of the Singer 301! ❤
