The launches weren't the greatest. The car jumped at every launch. They're making too much power too early on. If they delayed the heavy power delivery by a half a second or so they'd get better times.
In the early-mid 1980's I worked at Andial and pieced together a 1979 spec Porsche 935, and I have still not seen anything that is street legal that could even come close. 1560 lbs with half tank of gas, and on a cool day that little 2.8l flat six could pump out 1500+hp on 109 octane gas. basically 1 hp per lb...
That hood and front end is cosmetically RIGHT... I love the way they designed the exhaust and wastegate pipes to come out right there at the hood and its cut FLUSH with the hood... And on the front bumper ... the 2 holes are the inlets to the turbos.... NICE... !!!

Antilag - Keeps the turbo spinning at 300k rpm to maintain boost - also the flames you see are just the other side of the turbo, the backside, normally the exhaust goes from the turbo all the way back, but since flow inst nesscary here its just cut straight behind the turbo

That is the exhaust dump. Intakes are at the turbo on the front of the bumper. lol
The turbos are in the front bar, vertical exhausts straight off the motor.
