I'm 65 in 2021 and still working out more intense than ever before with techniques like these. Younger guys at the gym look at me and smirk because they see me using lighter weights sometimes. These exercises are brutal if you do them right.
Using every kind of weight is best think of your body as a soldier that needs to be trained with every possible movement to stay alive through war for as long as you can .
Nothing wrong with lighter weights. Don't let your ego ruin you with injuries. Like Johnnyg says, "exercises are brutal if you do them right"--if they're light and your ego is bruised, just add a few more reps to the set and watch yourself shake like a little a$$hole.
I have to say out of all you tube workout gurus you sir are top notch quick concise and no b.s- your teaching style is al la marine corps- shut up watch and by the numbers i salute u sir
Found this channel a few weeks ago and already getting results. Shoulders have been my weak point for years and that won't be the case for much longer, Thank you! No more 12 yr old shoulders on this 52 yr old !!!!
Humiston is the friggin man. I'm 52 and this guy has changed my life. I've watched my body change over 6 months and never run out of new moves thanks to this cat
By far the most down to earth straight forward and not to mention he isn't annoying as fuck. Big thanks to Ryan for not being another generic youtube douche
Love Ryan's "I hate you weights, why won't you get lighter already" face on that shoulder press lol also the anteria delt slight bend over is all I need to get that sob
Dang dude, I drove for 21 years in New Jersey /New York City, working on my last 15 months before I retire. Great channel, now I see where that straight direct humor comes from, 61 years old and I'm still "getting at it in the gym". Thanks
I gotta say, your videos have helped so much Ryan! I signed up to the course, day 4 so far for me, and I don't think I've felt this motivated (or sore) in working out for over 15 years. My Dad bod is really not liking me at the moment, but these videos have been just what I've needed! Thank you.
I have home equipment and not a lot but I adjusted my equipment to suit all your exercises. Great program at a ridiculous low price. Most people waste that much money weekly.
I've been finishing off shoulders & back with the cables. Using the cables like you suggested but adding a set of "crank the lawnmower" to burn the rest of the upper traps out.
I find them exercises very useful as I had a hard time finding that angles that would work for me by watching all typical exercises but never felt shoulders as much as using Ryan's tips. Really helpful. Thanks, it works.
I just did this workout Man i never felt such a connection to my shoulders and they blew up w blood.. I just found your page recently and I’m really digging it Im 53 worked out 1/2 ass apparently my whole life never went to a trainer Think I’m going to have to subscribe to a workout 🏋️♀️ 🤙🏼
Ryan, Could you do a video on the issue you were describing at 1:40. Or if you already have done one on this issue, would you point me in that direction please
My best results were from a seated bench machine set on a narrowing grip upward incline, basically it allows you to choose exactly what muscle you’re using. Rookies get sloppy and throw every muscle in that they can but if you focus on what muscle you WANT to contract you can use that sloppiness to target inner chest almost exclusively. Unfortunately it’s a pretty uncommon machine in my experience. Best runner up is a smith machine press with a really narrow grip flaring your elbows on the eccentric portion to get a better chest activation
That was a great 30-day Garage Styled program, it humbles you and tests your grit but also makes you appreciate the Bro-Split. I am going to run it again. I moved Abs to Arms day since a day of rest in between chest and legs was not enough (at least for me) to recover. Thank you, and hopefully, you will offer something similar in the near future.
Hey Ryan, just wanted to say that I just did this overhead press variation. 40lb total between the plates and the bar, super slow and controlled both ways. Absolute agony, could not fucking believe how hard my last few reps were, especially on that last set. Really happy with the movement and will make it a regular part of my shoulder routine for sure.
No i believe the dislikes are from natural lifters who realize these fluff and pump movements aren’t what builds muscle. Heavy compound lifts build muscle. Go back to front raises kiddo.
To each his own opinion. But I’ve seen more/better results by following Ryan H than I ever did using those “heavy compound lifts.” Thanks for the advice though, kiddo. I’ll keep my subscription with Ryan. Me, and the other thousands and thousands of grateful subscribers. Almost 700k? Yeah, I’d say his advice is spot-on and his vids are authentic.
God damn it I'm at the point where I actually can't wait for gyms to open... Haven't been to a gym in years and never felt very comfortable there but I want to try these exercises and most of them I just can't do at home not least because not only are dumbbells worth their weight in gold these days, you just can't get them!
Can you do a video on keto and intermittent fasting and do you believe that animal protein is bad for you? Thank you for your videos only just started following
Today I swapped two exercises from these with my usual ohp and rear flys. My traps didn't say f*** you but all my shoulder, biceps said that. In fact, my hand showed the middle finger to me. But, really, it was a good workout!
Lmao !!! 30 yrs as a bus operator , i got 26 yrs. as a N.Y.C.Transit bus operator worst job i ever had , thanks for all ur videos i've made so many gains watching them
Am I the only one who heard him say he drove a bus? A school bus or a Greyhound? Ryan as a school bus driver: "Look, kid. I paid your mom an extra $20 last night so you'd sit down and shut up. Don't make me go get a refund."
Too bad I didnt watch this earlier.. Shoulders was today.. I really need to do that side delt exercise.. Wednesday for sure imma implement that into my routine
Still the best source for safe and highly effective, muscle torching variations that other pro's only wished they figured out years ago, but mark my words every "gym guide"/"personal trainer" will be flaunting these as their own new revolutionary techniques a couple months down the road. Just remember where you saved your humiston patent videos ( because we all do) and slap them in the face with it preferably with a heavy f*#@in tablet. Ryan the Lion💪
Can you do the bus driver exercise using a dumbbell? (I work out at home, using Powerblocks). Also, should you do these exercises in this same order? Thanks who ever can answer!,
Dusting out the pink dumbbells for this one
😂
mines are blue -_-
Time to look like Arnold
Yo my natural hypertrophy bro is here too. Hey bro!
🤘🌸🤘
I'm 65 in 2021 and still working out more intense than ever before with techniques like these. Younger guys at the gym look at me and smirk because they see me using lighter weights sometimes. These exercises are brutal if you do them right.
Know that feeling....embarrassing but so much better and feeling it more....
Using every kind of weight is best think of your body as a soldier that needs to be trained with every possible movement to stay alive through war for as long as you can .
Amen brother haha
Nobody cares about you or what weight you lift.
Nothing wrong with lighter weights. Don't let your ego ruin you with injuries. Like Johnnyg says, "exercises are brutal if you do them right"--if they're light and your ego is bruised, just add a few more reps to the set and watch yourself shake like a little a$$hole.

Update how is your journey? Still grinding?
Humiston is the friggin man. I'm 52 and this guy has changed my life. I've watched my body change over 6 months and never run out of new moves thanks to this cat
I've just been doing Arnold presses with my lone 10 lb dumbbell.
As a bus driver myself these are amazing tips and inspiration to me thank you.
I've gone through just about all of your delt exercise videos. Thanks for the variations to change things up.
Ryan, pls do full gym program you talked about in the last leg day. I will legit pay $100 for it easily. Thanks for the killer content brother
Ryan's videos are wonderful, sufficiently long and effective - and amusing as well!
I wish I was that cool, calm and comedic.
Best videos and content on TH-cam. Direct, efficient, and funny. Ryan has the formula down.

You are a Great Coach!!! Love and Respect for you from Bangladesh!!!!

By far the most down to earth straight forward and not to mention he isn't annoying as fuck. Big thanks to Ryan for not being another generic youtube douche

Where do you find the course?
I have home equipment and not a lot but I adjusted my equipment to suit all your exercises. Great program at a ridiculous low price. Most people waste that much money weekly.
Thanx Ryan, I will definitely try those
I've been finishing off shoulders & back with the cables. Using the cables like you suggested but adding a set of "crank the lawnmower" to burn the rest of the upper traps out.
Man, the advice just after the 2 min mark is a game changer for me- never would have thought of that movement👍

I thank you for these shoulder workout tips, I'm so used to the old fashion ways that causes injury.
I find them exercises very useful as I had a hard time finding that angles that would work for me by watching all typical exercises but never felt shoulders as much as using Ryan's tips. Really helpful. Thanks, it works.
You are excellent! Your videos has renewed my workouts and has gotten me back on track. Thank you!

Hey I LOVE the bus drivers, I make sure I can always look through the center of the plate and super set it with battle ropes..
The best thing bout this man is that his videos are short
MUCH better. Thank you, Ryan.
Week three legs drop sets was an extreme challenge. So much for sitting on the toilet normal this week. LOL
I just did this workout
Man i never felt such a connection to my shoulders and they blew up w blood..
I just found your page recently and I’m really digging it
Im 53 worked out 1/2 ass apparently my whole life never went to a trainer

Thanks, I’ve been looking for some shoulder exercises. I’ll use these. Cheers Ryan
Ryan, Could you do a video on the issue you were describing at 1:40. Or if you already have done one on this issue, would you point me in that direction please
Always showing good and usable content
Could you imagine this guy being your bus driver?
I’d be afraid to get on... he’d rip the steering wheel off
"The signs says 'Exact fare only.' What part of that do you not understand?"
Hot lol
Yummy
hope he has a microphone and keeps talking, funny ride every time
🐐 status with the advice I’ve been make gains simply by correcting my form and adding new work outs thanks to you
So glad I watched this one, I follow many of your videos, but loved this one, thank you sir!
Your commentary and information is A1..also love the jokes...glad I'm a subscriber..much success my brother.
Those bus drivers are brutal. Brilliant Ryan thanks for these add to my workout 👍🏻
Hey Ryan what's a good exercise that can focus more on the inner part of the chest.
You cant target the inner part of the chest. You can only put emphasis on exercises that contract the muscle a lot
Your videos give me hope
Damn, shoulders are getting it today. Good content, thanks dude
You are the luck of my day - kisses from Germany ❤

Ryan - Can you make a video on how many carbs, proteins, fats, you should be consuming her pound of fat on a cutting / bulking diet?
Shoulders today: Gonna try some of these. Already feeling my side delts with that row and I haven't even got any weight in my hands.
That row really worked well for me also. Got a great burn in my side delts. Will definitely throw it into my shoulder routine

What glute exercises would you recommend for beginners??
Today I swapped two exercises from these with my usual ohp and rear flys. My traps didn't say f*** you but all my shoulder, biceps said that. In fact, my hand showed the middle finger to me. But, really, it was a good workout!
As always, great info.

Videos are awesome! Is the program he promotes worth it?
Am I the only one who heard him say he drove a bus? A school bus or a Greyhound?
Ryan as a school bus driver: "Look, kid. I paid your mom an extra $20 last night so you'd sit down and shut up. Don't make me go get a refund."
😂 😂 😂
For 30yrs?? If I took a guess, I’d say he’s like 37. That’s pretty young to learn how to deive
Thank you for a program with 4 weeks of pain Ryan! Never felt so pumped to get after it than I do today! Heading back in to do it all again 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice! Today is week 2 for me and I can still feel my chest, upper stomach, quads, and oh ya my butt cheeks.
@@kirkhustle3718 keep smashing it bro! So much stuff in this program, I’m building my own program from it with a different split 👍🏻👍🏻
How do you guys think this program stacks up? Looking to shake up my “routine” and bust through some plateaus.
@@richardmann4006 it's like nothing I've done personally. Absolutely brutal in a good way!
Where do you find this program?
