    I just want to say that the ship book was one of the best part of ISS. So don't be shy to develop the camp mechanics. Can it become a fort? A castle? Can it be attacked? Do you get additional bonuses from it? Etc...

    Please make a companion app with the voice acted logs similarly to what we have in ISS Vanguard. It saves so much time and is even more immersive.

      @@Vascariz Yes but also, some of the most interesting situations and stories happen due to failures in TTRPG's. Normally, players will do anything to avoid failing even the most meaningless rolls. But enticing players to stick to the results of a roll even if they were terrible, could lead to very fun play. I think that's very smart.

    I'd love a streamlined replay model. It's hard to find the time to do a full replay to explore alternative storylines so would be great to find a way to replay and minimise repeated storylines and the grind of combat.

    Just a question...If you had ignored the boat, would you have had to re-roll Intellect again even though you knew it was there? Or could you simply have chosen to explore the place and then return? (obviously this is an example that applies on a large scale, if I discover a door and I don't go in now, I know it exists. Do I have to rediscover it or do I just go there?)

    • @steelbeard151
      @steelbeard151 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      On entry 177, after the boat was discovered, the players were instructed to mark N on the story tracker. The previous entry asked if N was checked already, and if it was, would send them directly to 177 without having to roll the INT check again. The story is remembering their knowledge by way of those tokens on the tracker.

They ALWAYS are red. Maybe a fresh and hopeful green or inspiring golden yellow or even a magical and mysterious purple...

    I am excited to see camp mechanics in this game. But while it makes sense in a game like Kingdom Death Monster where the characters transport them back to their settlement, how does it make sense in a game where the characters move around a lot? How are 2-3 characters able to transport all the crafting stations and supplies with them when they explore a dungeon or travel by boat? I would also love to see a sandbox mode in the games AR releases instead of focusing purely on story campaigns, because that would increase replayability and make it easier to pull from the shelf for a 3-4 session from start to finish.

    Like the two sheets layout that can lead to many surprises, and this is what I look for a game like that. I am not convinced by the dice mechanism because with this sort of game I grumble all the time. For instance in iss vanguard we arrived in our first planet burn, without rations because bad luck with dice, and we have suffered the next 2 hours to survive. What is a pleasure of this? The consequence: all players leave and I may continue solo I want to… please do not do the same mistake with this game. Do not use dice to choose between success or failure ! But use them to code equivalent path for the same success, for instance if you succeed to travel with boat maybe you want to tell multiple success adventure like discovering something or in another path find someone etc. But please do not use dice to choose if we will fail or succeeds

    Will the adventures have around the same length or will some of them be longer/shorter? I think the idea of having multiple arcs throughout a campaign is fun and interesting when it comes to replayability.
    Will you be able to mix and match these adventures as well? Can we for example run Adventure A, but then have a choice of running Adventure B or Adventure C?

    I would want more dungeon crawling on a lot larger map. This feels very much like Tainted Grail where it is totally dependent on the story. I want a more monster slaying, room discovery and loot. More of a sprawling map like Descent 2nd edition or Middara.

    • @Vascariz
      @Vascariz 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't like story mechanisms determined by dice. These should be player choice or player stat based. Dice should be for combat only. Hate "skill" tests as it's a boring binary yes /no. Combat has chances to try again or mitigate.

    Looks great! I love the zoom in-out of the sheets and how flexible those can be. It may just not be shown, but I'm kind of missing random circumstances aside from just going to each location and doing a CYOA check. Right now I'm not sure it feels like exploration across a countryside so much as like... just visiting nodes on a map.

    4:19 I know it is early stage of developement and many things gonna change but I want to point it anyway. Map looks great but those dividing lines between regions are very odd and artificial. I'm not cartographer but very often, before satelites era, border lines on maps were going through some obstacles (like hills, rivers, ruins, slopes, cliffs, etc.) or other characteristic pieces of landscape and markers. Maybe try to use some different type of lines (dots, dashes) according to type of terrain instead of only a color. Currently it looks like screenshot from Google Maps.

Who are the supposed "8 people 2D art" that your page claims are working in your company and why can't I find any information on your employees? I'd be interested in backing your project if you are willing to answer these questions.
