i came across this video on my recommended page and MAN it brought a feeling of home to me. the lack of editing, the cosiness of the background and the casual vibe made this feel so familiar. it feels like ive walked into a close friends room and they started up a converstaion, showing me how they sharpen their pencils.
thumbnail made me think you would explain why a pencil sharpened like this is better than just a regularly sharpened pencil. could you explain why you might want to work with that way instead please? im new to drawing
@@fawazahmed4978 sorry about that! That was a pretty big miss on my part. So you get a sharper point which requires less sharpening. It will also help with developing pressure control as well as line control because the graphite is more fragile it kind of forces you to work with a lighter pressure. And more. I may make a part 2. I can’t believe I didn’t talk about this.
Do you use clutch pencils at all, I switched to clutch pencils completely and man they're awesome, it's hard to use the side of the lead but otherwise very handy
@@vaughan2632 I have one I just don’t have any refills lol I do just like the weight and feel of a wood pencil but maybe I should get some more graphite and try again
