I have a bad feeling the parents knew, allowed it, and that this child is not the only one getting molested. The moment I saw Curtis I had a pit in my stomach. Him saying “it’s the grandchildren I’ve been focusing on” struck me as a slip up. He’s a malignant narcissist and manipulative predator. The authorities need to do a thorough investigation into this. And to think they were about to drop the case… 🤦♀️

I never told my parents until I was an adult. The person who hurt me as a child told me that my parents would hate me and find me disgusting. They also said they would hurt me and my parents. I was too scared to open my mouth. I love my parents, but I felt like I had to keep it a secret for their safety at 6 yrs old.

The stepmom probably disciplines the kid behind him, she must run the house. He probably found out/caught him or his daughter told him, and the stepmom more than likely said she was a liar and making it up and had that sob story that her dad was a good man, never touched her or her sisters, etc. and made him turn on his daughter. He probably yelled at his daughter, didn’t believe her or the sick old man told some story about how angry he’d be if she said anything because he didn’t seem to do anything if he did catch him in the act. The dad is just being manipulated and feels stupid for not defending or protecting his daughter.

I thought the same way! Everyone in this story was awful. That grandma played a game of “well let’s see if he’s more loyal to ME instead of his girlfriend and her family”. Meanwhile not a single adult was acting in the best interest of that child. It was all a power struggle.

When the Grandma asked the little girl what was happening to her and she said "daddy would be mad at me" Is scary. Why would she randomly say that about him if he wasn't either molesting her or some other kind of abuse? The father had no right to be angry at his own family for bringing this predator to light. She said from TH-cam, in which yeah on TH-cam other kids playing with toys in a sexual manner. My kids seen it, talked about it and acted it out on each other. As a rape survivor I am over protective so no one has had a chance to touch my kids. I sae the videos they watched. Children playing with l.o.l dolls and others in a sexual manner and saying correct things. So yes they can learn on TH-cam from other kids.

Gosh I know how this feels. My paternal grandfather abused me. He died this year and I cried, not because he died but because I never held him accountable. I was so mad with myself. I tried to say something and his family attacked me. I carried my pain and felt ashamed for 32 years.

At least you tried. Trust me, they KNEW without a doubt, and he probably did it to some of them too. The person who tells the truth always becomes the outcast. It happened to me too. It’s so hard, but I keep telling myself that this is my chance to do it right. I’m currently building my own family unit. Our foundation will be built on love, and trust and we will love each other forever. Forget about them, you’re better off without them love 💕

This story was heartbreaking, disturbing & infuriating. Now we know why he (Curtis) was talking in circles. His mindset/thought process… just the way he spoke in general was extremely cringing and sickening. I know this is an old episode, but we need an update on this one. All the same, I hope that little girl has since gotten justice & gotten the help she needs. But knowing she was failed by multiple people in her life, people she loved & trusted to protect her. Including & especially her own father, is sadly something she’ll have to deal with & go through for the rest of her life, along with the horrific trauma she endured. I understand some are able to keep their composure & that Steve recommends it so they can focus on their child & getting the help/justice they deserve. But in a situation like this… the fact that he was as calm as he was, was very concerning and alarming. that his girlfriend behaved the way she did, he’s a very weak individual.. For someone who said all he did in his tape, he sure as hell had different demeanor on stage. Especially and more importantly AFTER the results. The lack of emotions and reaction… is he afraid of that woman? Idgaf who you are, or your father is. You as a parent need to put all else/that above your child. He basically chose that woman over his own daughter.

Exactly first what I think when I heard this
I can't believe how hung up people are about the gm taking a day or two to figure out what's going on and the best way to handle it. That's the least of the worries... there appears to be 2 men molesting that little girl. Only one was tested but the dad's reaction and what the child said about him being made speaks volumes for his involvement as well. I don't give a shit how gm handled it as long as it was handled within a week. It sounded like a tricky situation because grandma had her at the time but didn't sound like she was the legal guardian and yes, the police are very dismissive to grandparent's complaints of abuse.

As a sexual abuse survivor myself, I applaud the young girl for her courage in exposing the evil that she experienced. Furthermore, children very rarely lie about something as serious as molestation.
If you suspect abuse , physical, mental or sexual, the first thing you should do is to report it to the appropriate authorities. They know how to deal with this horrible situation. Trained professionals are required to question and provide the victim with information and help.
In this case how can the mother calmly explain away the child’s exposure to sexual content on the internet ? A young child shouldn’t be allowed access to the internet and it’s the parents job to protect their children from that. 😡
