Hi Guys! In today's video I am sharing with you my ideas for decorating journal pages. If you feel a bit intimidated by blank pages in your junk journal, or are looking for easy yet effective ways to decorate your pages, join me in this relaxing collaging session! Hope everyone is doing great! Thank you for watching and big hugs, Martyna
Thank you so much Martyna, that’s really really stunning and gorgeous too. I really really love 💕 the colours you’ve used on the first page you did. So subtle too. And the second is really really awesome too, but it’s bolder than the 1st page. I really really love 💕 your style of art and your incredible inspirational charm you bring to us all. I was hoping you were going to scan in those pages so we could buy them from you. You have a wealth of things to use and you really really appreciate how to use them. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Gorgeous collages! Magazines with shiny surfaces are very good to use for gluing also, and I use a small scrap of a washcloth to rub the papers down as it works out any little blobs left by the glue stick and burnished the paper down smoothly. Enjoying your channel!
This is super pretty. I always feel nervous about ripping papers but the end result can be so beautiful. Crafting is really good for the soul and important to make time for. XXX
Thank you for watching and your kind words! I absolutely agree with you - it is so good to make some time for crafting as it definitely counts as self-care for so many of us!
As usual beautiful, I love the fact how you don't spend too much time on an idea. All of the colors you use, complement each other. I cannot wait to start buying items so I can start a junk journal. Tfs❤️
That collage journaling page, the pink one, is truly beautiful...I've never quite got the hang of collaging well but you've certainly inspired me to have another attempt ...thank you
Hi Martyna! I'm working hard to finish up a journal so that I can work with your kit! I love your color choices so much. So many journals are so subdued! You have made it clear that they don't have to be!
Thank you for this video -- I'm really new to paper crafting -- and I enjoy it so much -- but .... (make the noise da da da dum...) -- ha -- as much as I try -- I know, Yoda, there is no "try," but this is not your comment; go raise an X-wing fighter outta your swamp -- I just don't seem to grasp what to do -- I watch Rachel's videos, and she whizzes around and makes magic -- I follow her exactly, because she gives great instruction -- and I'm still not getting it -- but I have the coffee dyed kit and lots of antique paperie -- so I printed off pages and we are about to embark on collaging 101 -- I'm only up to 12:05, but for whatever reason, as I read so many others are experiencing the same issue with the google platforms -- it works like a charm on my phone, but not my computer, and, I'm not using the app -- maybe that's what they want me to do ? So I have to stop and let it load, and while it's loading, I printed and gathered stuff -- I've been a subbie for quite sometime, but I usually watch on my tv where you can like but not comment, and I can't do texting at all -- I can type nearly 100 wpm (that was my job for almost 30 years) but I can't make my thumbs move to text, and I hunt and peck with my index finger -- I'm lucky if I get 5 words per minute, and that's if google doesn't auto-correct to some crazy word -- I'm old -- that is my excuse and I'm sticking with it -- but true story -- my neighbor has the most adorable little 3 y/o twin grandsons -- her daughter works the evening shift, so they spend the night with her, so we stayed in each other's yards, but one of the boys was face-timing his mommy before she started her work. 3 y/o facetime: how many times: too many to count. ME: None. sorry, Be well -- thanks again for uploading -- it says it will work -- we'll see -- Patricia
Very beautiful collage pages loved the die cut flowers, I'm still working on my collaging I overthink doing it all the time. Do you sale your die cut flowers in your etsy shop? I would love the purchase them since I don't have a die machine!!! Thanks for sharing maybe I won't be so intimidated next time. Your papers are absolutely gorgeous!!
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me such a kind comment April!! I really appreciate it 🥰 I don’t sell them but that’s a good idea, I’ll have to think about it! Oh and I hope you will give collaging a try!! It’s so fun. Don’t be too hard on yourself if the first try doesn’t turn out the way you wanted - you’ll get there! 🥰
Hello Martyna, I want you to know that i check every day to see if you have recorded a video and when you do i kinda scream a little and my stomach gets gets fuzzy and excited as if it was Christmas! 😁🤗 I love your videos so much!
Awww that is the sweetest thing Lucy!! You are so kind and your comment made me smile. Thank you dear! I am so happy you like my videos. Have a great day and weekend!
I really like the different style of collaging a master board you showed in this video. I love adding the journaling spots, such a great idea. In the Netherlands we have thrift stores, but they sell very different stuff, were I live they only sell furniture and lamps and some books. Most books are reading books, so not really interesting. But I saw that in the big cities the stores sell much more interesting things, but it is pretty far for me to go there and then it's not cheap anymore. Tracie Fox has Botanical definition labels.
I noticed you didn't ink/distress the edges on pieces you put on your collage. Do you always do that??? What were you thinking about this??? I'm a newbie at junk journaling. It seems everybody inks edges on about everything they use while making journals. So I'm wondering about this. Thank you for sharing this project. I'm excited to see all your videos with you creating this journal. Austin, TX - USA
I know it's a few months later, but my porch prints has some really nice word digis, and they're pretty cheap -- I use them a lot. I also like and have the Tracy Fox biological definitions and from Tina at Shabbydabbydodah she has dictionary definitions -- for under $2
