Good to see you back. I though we might have lost you to "A Quiet Place"' :) I suggest you brush up on tactics before you face that fleet. Remember your large ships fire broadsides. If you maneuver them to presenrt each side in turn they can fire twice a many shots. One side firing while the other reloads. Also pull any half damaged ones out of the front line and send fresh ships in. I lost track of that court document in all the excitement. I hope it didn't go down in one of your lost ships? 🤐
Thank you. It’s good to be back lol good tips for tactics with naval battles. Ones that I haven’t really thought of before. Just trying to think of how I can keep moving the ships so they are fire both sides. Do you know if they can fire at 2 ships at the same time, just with ether side?
@@rpgbrit4621 i was just watching naval battles like a cut sceen at first. Still getting the hang of it but you can influence them quie a bit. Not sure about simultaneous broadsides but I think they should be able to. You need your fleet spread rather than bunched and moving as they take too long to set sail and build speed if sat still. Movement also makes it harder for the enemy to hit you as most of them only have a narow arc of fire forward. As soon as your ship has fired, turn it 180 dgrees and the other side will fire as soon as the target re-appears. Easier to manage in smaller fights and of course all goes out the window when a big battle breaks out. The more ships involved, the quicker it decends into chaos.
@@rpgbrit4621 Looks like you already started. :) I will follow along with the new one. Having a rest from my Anno. I installed loads of DLC and I now have tons on new quests and campaigns. A bit confusing at the mo. Also trying to get my head around Stelaris for the 10th time!
