My Ranking Aang - Avatar. Duh. Katara - Possesses every sub bending of her element, proving versatility, knocked down entire ships with her waterbending. Zuko - Listen, this might be controversial. But I'd place Zuko at 3rd. Zuko is smart enough to beat Toph, He could just burn her feet when he has an open opportunity. Also has high endurance, durability and managed to keep up with Azula. Though, You can swap Zuko or Toph depending. Toph - She could be easily countered by hurting her feet, ruining her seismic sense. But has powerful raw strength, one of the most powerful earthbenders of it's time and invented Metal bending, Something considered impossible at the time. Suki - Though being one of the only non benders in the team ( along side Sokka ) proves to have great combat skills, agility and manages to keep up with Ty Lee. Also an agile foe. Sokka - He isn't really strong, but his Battle IQ + Strategization still makes him a key-component to Team Avatar. This is only my opinion. In addition, she always needs a source and Zuko can create fire out of nothing. Apart from that, fire is the most suitable element for fighting even if all elements are equally strong. There are reasons why the fire nation was able to conquer all nations and they could actually keep these nations for decades regardless of the comet. Even if we say that Katara has the same niveau of bending, Zuko wins the fight because he has more experience and is physical stronger.

Katara is stronger than toph, y’all like to overhype/glaze/overestimate toph. Toph did not hold up that library with her bare hands, she does not have that kind of strength because that library is huge. She was creating friction to slow down the library making it stop for a few moments. And let’s not forget how toph got out-smarted by another earth bender in the comics named ya ling and ya ling was able to go toe to toe with toph even though ya ling wasn’t on bumi or toph level.

Also she has more control and range, for example when she fought as the melon lord. Katara is smart and powerful, but she mostly blasts water to her oponents or freezes them, also she lacks creativity that toph have. Katara did't really innovate neither waterbending, plantbending, healing or spirit ending. Toph on the other hand created her own earth bending moves, and then the metal bending martial art
@ You know nothing about avatar if you say Katara lacks creativity, she literally uses very resourceful ways to use her bending and she uses diverse bending techniques like water arms and water octopus. Not to mention in the comics she created an ice ladder and sled, so before trying to check somebody else information, please do your research before you get checked.

@ First of all she just learned the basics from Pakku then she learned advanced techniques from Hama, and it doesn’t matter how she got those skills. Even Iroh stated it’s bad to get your knowledge from one place and Katara got her knowledge from multiple places- made some moves herself so why does it even matter. Y’all keep forgetting that Toph was beaten by a regular earth bender while Azula and Katara progressively got stronger in the comics and show.

You got Sokka and Katara wrong. Sokka’s strategic mind makes him stronger than Zuki. And Katara’s motherly characteristics, flexibility, and not to mention Blood Bending, makes her stronger than Toph and an actual rival to Aang.

@bradleysands1758 Katara moved one of the heaviest ships with water, she learned and resisted bloodbending she brought aang back from the dead, in the comics she could control plants, + toph has a weakness her feat she can't see high attacks like in ep 7 book 3 when katara and toph training aang she did not react to kataras huge wave. Plus ice is also her weakness she can't see in ice, oh and plus she can pull water out of air and cloud bend. So yeah katara can beat toph she's the only person to give azula a hard time, while toph had trouble catching azula with out her moving. So yeah katara beats toph extreme diff

He's given aang way harder battles then toph did and I honestly don't believe katara could beat him without blood bending which she doesn't use.

That's definitely a close fight but I feel like with her better mastery over her element and metal bending which she's not used to fighting against, toph got it.
