In my youth (early 2000s) we all thought becoming Ronnie Coleman would lead to incredible athletic prowess. Over many years I went from a 155 pounds at the end of high school to 245 standing at 5 foot 9. Eventually, my body did indeed break down like a jeep compass on huge tires with winches on the front and rear bumper, and an up-armor kit. As I prepared to start months and months of physio naturally asked the physiotherapist for an explanation. She simply said "Your muscles are very strong. Your body is not. That's two different things." OUCH.

@@Caine61 No, it's not. Go do a plank. You'll notice - if you do it correctly - some tension in your abs and legs. It's not much, but it's there. If you do a THOUSAND push-ups a day, you spend a considerable amount of time in what is essentially a dynamic plank. I didn't say that push-ups are a substitute for sit-ups or squats, only that doing them results in SOME leg and core hypertrophy. Is that simple enough for you to understand? If you're still struggling with the lesson, let me know.

I started with the Tom hardy bane workout, then week 2 I switch to the Superman workout, and finish the month with the guts workout. I've gotten great results with each, so I wanna see what will happen if combined in a month

I'd say that prime versions of Brock lesner , Alistair overeem and Shane carwin would be the closest to a real life bane ! If you could combine the wrestling of Brock , the striking of overeem and the endurance of Cain Velasquez you would have bane ! Brock didn't just lift weights he manhandled people ! The guys in wwe said that they felt helpless in brock's hands . they didn't have to assist him he carried them around like babies !
Marcel should’ve used either Larry Wheels, or Brock Lesnar, as Bane, in that movie. It was disappointing to see Bane so scrawny (as compared to the comics).
Bane didn't start using gear till he was grown and jacked upon released from solitary confinement.. if anyone is close to Bane it's that Tom Havilland guy..
