Love this vid (and the one you did for Red Hood). You did a good job highlighting how Dick is an agile, Daredevil-ish character who utilizes acrobatics/speed/martial arts and Todd is a more brutal, Punisher-ish character who uses strength/marksmanship/militaristic tactics.
@@ParisDemers wait, so do I do them like the 3 days of A, and then in that same week start over? Or just 3 days a week? I don’t get it, and do I do all of them like, 1st week is A, then 2nd is B?
Awesome of nightwing’s regiment, along the coolest thing to talk about his unique acrobatic and martial arts fighting style. Which I would love to see the channel make some videos of other characters’ fighting style, and a competition of Daredevil vs Nightwing would be so cool since they have the similar regiment and combat skills
I watched your 3 spiderman videos and daredevil videos before. And so your videos have inspired me to come up my own workout routine for myself. Inspired from spiderman (Tobey Maguire), daredevil (Charlie Cox) and now night wing.
@Giga Chad sure! I have an EZ bicep curl bar. So I had to get a little creative with it. EZ bar routine: Squats superset with back lunges Dead lift superset with hip thrusts Bicep curls, supenated and pronated Shoulder press superset with declined pushusps or pike pushups Floor press superset with standard pushups. I don't have a bench, so I lay on the floor flat. I do 3 sets starting at 5 and going to 15 dropsets with 20 pounds on the bar since that's all I have for now.
I want to start training (generally speaking, not necessarily this specific program but Nightwing is my favourite character so it's bonus) but because of school I don't really can. I hope I find this wideo in like 3 years
Bat gym & a video on T’challa black Panther please. This was a great video, and the one with Tim drake gives me and others great ideas to create a plan that can keep you going long term over the full course of your life and maintain. Thank you again
This is a great workout plan, Nightwing is just one of the many comic book Inspirations for me to better myself, but I do have a question, how do I know when I should focus on one phase more than the others like how do I know if I'm getting too big and should focus on one of the other phases for a while?
That's up to you. Are you trying to BECOME Nightwing (gain his physical abilities and be more capable than the average Joe) or just trying to get fit? If you're just trying to get fit, then it doesn't really matter. Do whatever you want. However, if you want to BECOME Nightwing, then you have to do some self reflection. Dick relies on his acrobatics a lot. To be him, you would as well. The way to decide if you're getting too big can be done a few ways. Method one is to look at your body now. If you're super skinny, you're gonna wanna bulk up a little bit so that your bones and such are protected by your muscle. If you're too buff right now (weight is hindering your athleticism) you're gonna wanna cut a bit until you feel able to be more athletic. If you're overweight, you're gonna wanna cut down to a healthy weight and then do one of the two steps above. The second method is to take it as it comes. Start training, and if you feel like lack of weight is hindering you, start bulking little by little (5 lbs at a time works best for me). Same thing the other way around, if you start training and feel like too much weight is hindering you, then simply cut (again, 5 lbs at a time). There's also a few ways of bulking and cutting. The first, and most obvious, is to track calories. MyFitnessPal, while controversial, has worked for me in the past. The only caveat here is that it takes lots of prep, focus and eating with intention. It's a lot of work lmao. Tracking can be used for either weight loss, or weight gain. Another way to gain muscle is to be more fluid with it. Your maintenance level of calories is the three meals you eat every day. To gain weight without tracking calories, you have to eat your three meals and a snack of about 100-200 calories (like a pack of nuts). Personally I love this method. It's great for maintaining and getting started with weight gain. There's two issues with it though. 1) I was only really able to gain 15-20 lbs doing this. I was fine with that, but you may want or need more. 2) Because it's less specific, you have to be more careful about what you eat. It's not too hard, just make sure that your food is all dense in calories, but healthy. Examples are greek yogurt, nuts, chicken and oats. You also can't really lose weight with this. The final way (that I know of) is intermittent fasting. This can be used to either gain or lose weight. If you're trying to gain weight, simply eat slightly more (I'm talking a small amount. Like a pack of nuts or a handful of almonds) than your "I'm satisfied" feeling. This is far more intuitive and you have to be really in tune with yourself. To lose weight, you just skip a meal OR eat less calorically dense foods (like fruit). Hope this helps a bit
Cool video can you do one of Tarzan since he live in the jungle his workout would be like full body calisthenics and powerlifting routine’s,or farmers carry from like fighting animals or having to hunt or move and pick up big objects like strongman workouts
BatGym! Loved this video! Also, so when we’re practicing calisthenic/gymnastic or acrobatic work, or some MMA/Martial arts training, in conjunction with this program, should we only do it 1-2x per week?
If you wanna become a expert gymnast or fighter you’ll need to do more than 2 times a week but if you’re just maintaining your skills or just want to add a bit of different work in then 1-2 days would work!
This was a very interesting video, I really need to build up strength as I have hyperextension in shoulders and knees as well as a fracture in my spine (apparently that is very common but a lot of people just don't know) so I need to build up my muscles so they don't get worse or dislocate but I'm also quite flexible and I want to keep my joints open so I might try this. Also I think Dick does a bit too many squats
Also, I'm assuming during all 3 phases Nightwing would probably be doing 2-4 days of training in several martial arts outside of general crime fighting?
I would say 2 days would be best. Since Nightwing is just a normal human he needs to be carful not to overtrain or fatigue himself. As this would hamper his ability to preform at his best while fighting crime. That’s why I made the program only 3 days a week!
It's actually pretty silly to worry about putting on a "ton" of muscle mass. Putting on muscle naturally is extremely difficult even if you try. Newbies might see large gains in muscle mass initially, but that will taper off in 6 months to a year of training. Once you near your genetic potential, you may at best gain 1 to 3 pounds of muscle in an entire year with intense training and a good diet. So don't worry about it, and train as hard and heavy as you can while eating a moderate calorie diet
Sure for a normal person. But for Nightwing there’s not reason for him to train to get as big as possible. If he were to train for Hypertrophy for 10 years he could end up putting on 20-40 pounds of muscle which could really slow him down.
@@ParisDemers Very unlikely unless he was really attempting to add mass overtime. As I stated before. even if he was doing everything properly and eating in a caloric surplus, he would eventually reach his genetic potential and not gain anymore.
