  • Former Russian Spy and sleeper agent Jack Barsky came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he started off speaking about growing up in the USSR, like DJ Vlad. From there, Barsky explained how he was approached to join the KGB, where he became the best performer in his group. Throughout the conversation, Barsky detailed being sent to the U.S. as a sleeper agent for the KGB and later having a wife and child in the States. During the conversation, Barsky spoke about being found by the FBI and later cooperating, which led to his story being told on 60 Minutes in 2015. To hear more, including Jack sharing his thoughts on the Russian-Ukraine war, hit the full interview above.

    This is the best Vlad-Tv interview ever. I love Cold-War era stuff , I learned a lot a bout it in my high school era years, my teens early 20's .This is " The Stranger Things " Or ,Tom Hanks - Bridge Of Spies like Harrison Ford , Matt Damon - Edward Norton - Jason Born , Daniel Craig bond like spy stuff cool. When I was a little boy in the (1980's) I remember The United States vrs Soviet Union U.S.S.R. and West and East Germany back in they day when they broke up in I believe in December (1991) " Good guys democracy vs commuisim socialism the bad guys " and nuclear war like " The Stanger Things " (1980's) stuff ". Vladimr Putin take over the world stuff.

I would have thought with how long Vlad has done interviews, and how excited he apparently was to interview this man, that he would have indulged more in his life experiences he was offering… instead of just responding “okay” half the time and reading from a script the rest…
    Idk I guess I was hoping for more from Vlad than he’s capable of offering 💁🏼‍♂️

      Yuri was talking about educating americans with Marxism-Leninism without them really understanding american values. This is not what america is facing today. Most americans have no idea about Marxism-Leninism and the use of a vanguard party. You are seeing the result of think tanks founded by freidrich hayek that have pumped neoliberal ideology into the heads of most americans. This is the direct opposite of something like marxism-leninism. The black panther party believed in ML and so does the PSL today. They are a drop in the bucket when it comes to the actual population of america lol.

    • @getfmlr
      @getfmlr ปีที่แล้ว

      Watch it again...He said that back in those days Ukraine was part of Russia. Back then it was called the Soviet union and here are the now independent countries that were part of "Russia". Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. All these countries separated or got independence in 1990 or 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the supposed "Cold War"
      Why do you think Putin/Russia is invading Ukraine right now?
      So technically he can say he is Russian because what is now Ukraine was Russia when he was born. If you want to be more technical then if he was born today, he would be Ukrainian.

    There’s a lot missing to his story...firstly, how can the KGB just allow an agent to walk away from their employment mid-mission! Secondly, it’s a risk to leave an agent in enemy territory especially when he’s left your organisation because he fell in love with the originally intended subject of the mission so common sense tells you that they would at least have been trying to take him out! The grey parts of life are usually the most interesting, hopefully one day he’ll share...

    You gotta do more interviews about this, but please read more into the Cold War beforehand... the Cuban Missile Crisis started because the United States put medium ranged nukes in Turkey, so the Soviets responded by placing similar nukes in Cuba, and deescalation only occurred when JFK and the Soviet premier (can't spell his name without googling the shit) agreed to remove their respective missiles.
    Also during the time he was an agent the Soviets had invaded Afghanistan, you could've asked Jack if he was sent to spy on the Americans and the material that they were sending to the Mujahideen
