I have experience with the bigger [ 72 ] over seeder used in commercial use. They are quite the value and are long lasting and easy to maintain and repair.
A tip - to get rid of spoils, scrape out a whole and dump the spoils, then cover with clean dirt and smooth. Wow, you left that soil rough, not smooth, and not at all flowing. It is a good thing that is your lawn. A high dollar customer would scream with a job that rough. You will feel the roughness when you mow.
I have a RTR0542 & for some reason the chain hits the cover. I guess the chain is stretched b/c It'd be odd if Landpride shipped the wrong linkage. I wish Landpride had a publicly posted shop-manual to better articulate which solution is needed to prevent the chain from slapping the cover. I have delayed spending $44 on a new chain or the $10 offset-link b/c I don't want to be disappointed in Landpride, though I must decide soon b/c the cover costs $61.
Do you have to till first? I'm really looking for a spray, then plant solution but a Genesis is so expensive and I'm not sure my 2650 will even lift the 3 series.
? For u sir, does Great Plains make a 24, or 26 ft heavy duty no till coulter disk drill with 7.5 inch seed rows and with mid row fertilizer application on a box drill version?
Great video. Can the L3301 also perhaps barely do the landpride no-till drill? Could this seeder be configured for no-till planting of crops into living or rolled cover crops like you mentioned overseeding grass as well as the no till drill? Can it be set up to plant different sized seeds or only for grass seed?
@@MessicksEquip Befco offers a depth of seed placement because the knife penetration is adjustable. The befco seeder sits upon a tiller platform. If buying a kubota brand seeder, The APS (all purpose) model is the best value for the 💲💲 The all purpose will overseed as well as service newly seeded (prepared) soil.
When I rent equipment from Sunbelt. United Rentals. You have an option called the Rental Protection Plan that covers damages to equipment and even theft. The cost is around10% to15% of the rental rate. Not once did they ask for any type of insurance.
Who needs front tires? Ride the wheelie! That’s why god gave us left and right brakes and loader buckets. Great machine. Send me a quote.

You make awesome videos dude...and you are 100% Rob McElhenney's doppelganger.
looks great! maybe my local rental center will have one of these when I need to reseed this fall
Nice bit of Kit Thanks
Excellent content and very detailed explanation of attachment. Thank you.
lots of rock on the property! Good video
this is quite the machine

Question. Is the 1572 considered a no till? Do they make them with a fertilizer box. Can this unit also plant corn and soy beans?
Thank you, Neil. Can the BX23s support a stand seeder?
Not this style

That would go good with a workmaster
Right side tire runs the seeder
What would be your suggested tractor/planter for no till drilling food plots?

Great video! Do you have any experience with the Woods css-48? I know it’s much lighter in weight but wondered how well it works.

No, you can overseed
Ive used a APS1560 behind the b2650 and it worked quite well

Probably.
What size would work on an L4060 HSTC? Can it plant corn?
Great on that size tractor, not a corn planter though. This is for small seeds.

I'd want the 60" on the std L. Its technically possible but its really pushing the tractor. Yes, this can no-till.
Will this overseeder work on corn stubble, as a no-till seeder? Thank you in advance.
I would not.
I have a bunch of fields that have set stagnant for over 10 years do you feel this would be a good implement to bring them back into hay purduction?
This, or a renovator. Land Pride APS. Both would work, this is more aggressive.
@@MessicksEquip thank you
How much for the 1600 lbs seeder
I didn't see a model like that on the LandPride web site. Could you share the model number?
OS1572
@@MessicksEquip Thanks
Do they make a small enough slit seeder for a B2601?
No, too heavy. There is a product called a renovator that would work.
Can that seeder do more than grass
Yea, just about anything.
Befco makes a superior unit
We sell Befco also, tend to prefer the Land Pride. What is it you liked?

I’m finding it hard to rent equipment… everyone is requiring general liability insurance now…
we do as well, either provide your own or pay for our policy. Can't have these expensive assets running around unsecured.
@@MessicksEquip I don’t blame you at all, typically here you have to bring your own… $1000/year to occasionally rent equipment us not very viable
@@MessicksEquip how much does that usually cost?

Will they do soybeans ??
First!!! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
congrats! you won nothing!
