I am from Canada but my origin is from the district covering KUTTANAAD.
Your trip I enjoyed because there was no DIKHAVA of either fake exaggeration or silent curses we see in many such videos.
Many Malayalies and Indians watch such movies because it gives them an opportunity to see their native villages from far away .
