Sefris is actually an original character made for the precons. They're a new legendary creature made for the party that is adventuring the Forgotten Realms for MTG:DND:AFR The party might make an appearance in Baldur's Gate but it's up in the air
FWIW: I could be wrong but Empty the Labs makes you sac zombies as part of the spell resolving so you would do the revealing first and the zombies triggers would go on the stack after resolving the Empty the Labs.
It is. They even said that. I was dying inside when Adrian drew the cards because you draw after it resolves. It would’ve mattered if he drew zombies with etb effects
Actually, you draw the card from Wilhelt before you get any triggers from the sacrificed zombie, as triggers can't go to the stack in the middle of the resolution of a spell or ability. Same for Empty the Laboratory: all triggers will wait until the new zombies are on the field.
Built a Kaima deck because I loved Guys' deck so much. Added a few cards I don't think he has in there that work super well, and or maybe they're just cards I like to play, idk, Crown of Doom and Bitter Feud. Both kind of salty, and could potentially get me instakilled if players teamed up against me, but all the goading just makes me feel untouchable lol
Maybe I'm biased because she has great art and is in my favorite colors but I think she is a lot more powerful that people give her credit for. The scry is so nice and in my experience people don't respect her so she gets out of hand very quickly.
i also have a sefris deck except i cycle creatures to trigger her and dump a huge creature in my grave then reanimate it with her trigger so i normally can get a card like stormtide leviathan on the battlefield on turn 4
Calvin, did you say that Glasspool Mimic would have come in as a copy of Sefris. Would the plan have been to have the original die to legendary rule, just to get the extra venture trigger? Another question, did you consider exiling Trelsarra with Hostage Taker?
With Karmic Guide, he could bring Reveillark back, then sac Guide, Sefris and then Lark, in this order, returning both Guide and Sefris with Lark's trigger, and use Guide's trigger to get Lark back. Each time he does this, Calvin gets a venture trigger, so he can loop through Lost Mines as many times as the number of cards in his library. He also gets a treasure with every loop, which he can use in conjunction with Hostage Taker and the Guide/Lark combo to steal all of Foley's creatures.
I wonder if I should put Zombie Infestation in my deck to take advantage of the excess lands... turn them into 2/2s, which I can then feed to Wilhelt (and replace them with decayed zombies too). 🤔
Giving "old" pack tactics deck's another shot is definitely a neat concept for the viewing experience . . . . . . . . . . ...almost missed it over my sefris simping though ^^´
Eyo Calvin sorry my guy Sefris did not exist before the precons Narratively I think the leaders of all these precons are supposed to be a proper dnd party (no cleric smh)

Shroom you haven't seen a "bad player" until you've witnessed my pod. Love surfing the old content.

Just discovered this video and channel. Instant sub, love the banter and gameplay, reminds me of my own EDH group!
i’ve been playing your budget sefris deck lately. love it so much.
Ttrgr gonna be pumped d to read this lmao
Really enjoying the gameplay! You guys deserve more views 😎
I love the mouth-fart sound the dice makes when it ventures into the dungeon.
I have a Trelasarra deck too! I don't see a lot of people playing her so it's nice seeing her being played from another perspective! Great game guys!

Kaima is one of the few gruul commanders I like.
Does anyone by chance know the name of the song that plays during the ad for the mats? I can’t figure it out to save my life lol
That Trelassara deck is sweet!
Also foley is so fancy looking today love it.
Sefris AND Trelasarra? I love it! Also I believe that the AFR commanders are original characters made for the decks.
in my play circle my sefris deck is the most powerful and my friends get salty when i play it, always love to see it played

do it those extra zombies do a bunch for my deck and they don't have decay witch means wilhelt can still make extra tokens when they die
happy to see another sefris player

Guy looks like the dude with the dance moves in that Post Malone video. Love your content.
I like Galazeth too, it's a fun deck
r.i.p 😢
Yay, Wilhelt! 💙🖤
I'm a pretty big fan of wilhelt. Even playing it right out of the box before upgrades its a fun deck
Let's be honest, the MVP of this game was shiny impetus.
Does Foley get a crown until he's dethroned?
Eyo Calvin sorry my guy Sefris did not exist before the precons

I will happily listen to Folly (idk if I spelled his name right) over Tomer from MTGoldfish any day of the week.
At turn 6 at 57 life and huge creatures and going to be unblocked? Who's going to get hit lol
I also miss that Galazeth deck..

I thought the Guy had a moment's peace in the grave ?
Guy if u didn't know u died bro..u was digging for the answer? Gg Foley wins with sick dance moves
I dont understand why he didnt demonstrate and get agent of treachery and take dudes commander. Would have kept him alive
If nobody stop him ...think this game goes to dancer?
37:56 trelasarra cant attack Kaima because its goaded.
if no other players then it can. Goad says to attack someone else if it can. It can't due to no other players.
Once all other opponents are gone, goaded creatures are forced to attack the player who goaded them (or their planeswalkers).
Wilhelt will see himself die so you will get a decayed 2/2.
"Another zombie", so no. He can still sacrifice himself to draw a card, though.
Foley is not budget.... he is playing unlands :D
