this has made my day. what beautiful playing, and Bach - as always - can be beautifully channeled as if he had written this specifically for the recorder.
what a warm gorgeous and colorful sound, people especially American will have a bias since we were forced to hack away in second grade, but its sound is like a woodlike organ stop, very rich and mellow.
As an amateur recorder player, I feel no pressure to exhibit my skills by executing a piece at maximum speed. I find that playing more slowly gives the music more expression and clarity. Lovely passages, intricate ones, exciting ones are more so at lower pace. The listener and player have more opportunity to absorb and to appreciate them.
¡Bravo!
This works really well, nice job. I've take some of Bach's French Suites and turned them into "etudes" for solo violin too. Like you said the melodic line envelopes the harmony too so the bass isn't totally necessary for the piece to work. Congrats!
I woke up this morning feeling quite deflated after watching my team, Manchester United, throw away a lead by conceding two goals deep into injury time in a must win game in the English Premier League. My head is pounding with enervating thoughts. I turn on my iPad and click on TH-cam. Front and Centre and at the top of my feed is this video. Knowing that Bach is the perfect medicine to lift the human spirit when we are at our most fragile, I click and play this video. Suddenly I am lifted up and elevated, I am soaring like an eagle, being transported into an entirely different dimension. My whole mood is transformed and everything in life seems meaningful. Goals are achievable (Not for United at the moment!!), I mean Life Goals and not football ones, Aspirations are attainable. As this music plays it renews and restores my depleted energy, the sweetness of the notes and the fluency of the melody enriches my Soul. I look out of the window and the Sun starts to shine. What more do we need in this life? A little warm sunshine and the music of Bach. Beautiful music, wonderfully played by an excellent musician! With sunshine and Bach in my life, I can achieve anything! Thank you for transforming my day! Your performance is truly inspirational. I will float through my day carried through the air by a multitude of mellifluous notes elevating me and propelling me onwards.
There doesn't exist a definite score. Anyone who wants to play this, should make an own arrangement. The mine changes for every performance. Take Bach's Suite No.2 in C minor, BWV 813 on IMSLP, start the Allemande with a "d" on an Alto recorder and follow the top line. There are only very few bars where you have to integrate the bass line into your melody ( at least in the Allemande, Corrente and Menuets! Good luck!
Finden Sie solche Bearbeitungen angemessen? Was denken Sie darüber? Was denken Sie?
Searching French Suite No.2 in C minor, BWV 813 on IMSLP does the trick for those interested. Also, it's for harpsichord as mentioned under the video and will need to be adapted for the recorder.

Any chance you are playing a Stanesby Jr copy by Martin Wenner?
Lovely arrangement - where can I find/buy the score?

What's the difference between a recorder and a flute?
@Michael, who is the maker of your alto?
It was made by Sebastian and Joel Meyer, Switzerland. meyerrecorders.com

It's an alto recorder, a very expensive one too, 👌🏻🙌🏻🔥
Bellissimo. Esecuzione perfetta. Dove posso trovare lo spartito? Mi piacerebbe studiarlo.

@@michaelschneider3584 Vielen Dank für die Antwort!!!
Harald, he escuchado tu trabajo. ¡Te felicito! Se escucha muy lindo. Soy flautista de Chile. Me llamo Isabel Neira. Te saludo desde acá.
Where can I find this sheet music?
please read my answer for claudio giannotti one month ago , who asked the same question.
@@michaelschneider3584 Ok, thank you! Sorry for the bother!

i need ten years more of training to play like this.
Alto
Sehr schon Maestro!
Danke schon! ¿
Fake Bach recorder music, but very interesting. Congratulations! Bach is Bach, always.
Share the score, don't be egotist , thanks🙏
