I just recently jumped into this sport by buying the Skout Epoch in .357cal. With it I also bought 2 extra mags. I've bought since my initial purchase a .25cal barrel conversion with it's own shroud and 2 - .25cal mags. Then last week I bought the Epoch ARCA Swiss rail & Atlas adapter. At this point I'm done. I pretty much can take small to medium game with this package. I'll be spending the coming weeks chronographing each barrel/pellet combo for accuracy and power. That should be interesting. Happy airgunning!🥳🎊🎉👏
Yea, so I have a question into talon tunes. I been looking at barrels for the vulcans ? I know the barrel is fairly easy to take out but not sure if they sell replacements and how much they cost ???? Wish I had more info.
Can't speak to the mechanical versions but having the Delta Wolf with multiple barrels. It is simply mind-blowing how you can swap barrels punch in the information and it goes right back to where it needs to for a perfect tune. It is pricey but well worth it to have the built-in chronograph and other benefits of the computer built into the gun.
When I first started air gunning, and I haven't been doing it terribly long, about 4 years now - I thought that the ability to swap barrels / calibers was soooo cool.About two years in I bought an RTI Prophet Performance in .25. Great gun . . . really dug it. A little while down the road I saw a video from AOA on how easy it is to swap barrels so I picked up a couple of kits - one in .177 and one in .22 - " . . . this is great!" Except for all of the time re-tuning, and re-sighting, and re-taping up scope turrets marking up yardage . . . . not to mention buying ammo and figuring out what each barrel liked and didn't like. Cutting to the chase - I have three of them now. ( lol ) All sluggers - .177, .22, .25 - the latter two with the new RPB barrels. Done - no more tuning. Just feed 'em air and ammo. I got tired of constantly dinking / tuning - I just want to pick 'em up and shoot 'em.
A sucker is born every minute lol. Hey if one has the money…. I remember Martha Steward, a young lady trying to sell her pies at the Westport train station for $5 each. She couldn’t sell one to save her life. Then a Wall Street guy got off the train and she was complaining to him, such delicious pies and I can’t move them and bla bla bla. The guy says to her, you are not charging enough. Start charging $20 each for a week and see what happens. All of a sudden, she couldn’t make enough pies. The snobs were picking them up like hot cakes. Anyone for a Leshy lol.
I’m wondering about the Avenger X as well. Little disappointed that barrel options seem to all be in the 22” range. Maybe they’ll make some internal changes to allow increased velocity/weight. I have one of the .177’s and it is good with pellets and 100 yard golfball capable when grouping NSA 12.5’s
Interesting. Never considered buying a whole suite of barrels, I always choose the caliber/airgun for a specific purpose. I think that having the option to change calibers is great but see having to do a swap as a drastic measure to save having to replace the airgun. IMHO, it's not practical (from a cost, effort and convenience perspective) to use multiple calibers on one airgun ...which is why I have so many 😊 Cheers!
LOL, right well sometimes it is marketed that way as hey dont buy another rifle just buy the barrel and you are set. As you mentioned it is more drastic that you would think trying to get a tune to work with swapping a barrel. Thanks for watching.
Thank you, it does help me, the trigger is decisive in the precision of Daystate, at what speed has it achieved greater precision Where would you place the Vulcan, regards
@@sonan7216 Vulcans to me are second out of the box. It might be to the ergonomics of the rifle and not the overall accuracy. My Deltwa wolf is probably the same or worse than my vulcans. MY Redwolfs are the most accurate rifles I have shot out of the box. FYI>
Awesome topic ..... very expensive, but you nailed it. The Air Force TalonP would be the best choice if you want a 4 in 1 gun it's cheaper than a fx or daystate, man. I didn't know the brk ghost barrels were that expensive wow 😳 thanks for sharing, bsafe buddy
Chris thanks again. Yea I thought the ghost barrels would be like $357 not $580.... Pretty crazy you can buy an entire different rifle for that price....
You do realize that guns in this price category represent a tiny fraction of the market? If you saw the number of Gauntlet's that Umarex has sold over the years you would be in awe. The $300-500 price point is where the majorty of the market is. The JTS guns and the DAR Gen 3 represent the best value's on the market right now and will be where most folks are comfortable.

Hey curious how much are barrels for the Skout Epoch ? I tried finding a listing of the prices and failed ... Thanks for watching....
Hi. What about the Vulcan in this case? I have long and short version in 25, and in my opinion they are great from the box. Thanks for video.

Yea it really is plug and play where others from my experience take mroe effort.

lol dude..... Yea it does go without saying... Thanks for watching....
Nice job! I'm waiting for the Avenge X version for substantially less than all those you discussed. LOL Now on pre-order!
Good call! Interesting to see as things progress with modular rifles.

Hello, with which of them you have achieved greater accuracy and more reliability, thanks
Greatest accuracy would be daystate.... Most reliable Airforce hope this helps....
Thank you, it does help me, the trigger is decisive in the precision of Daystate, at what speed has it achieved greater precision

speeds are all within the 900ish using jsb knocikouts in .177 RW HP. and FX hybrids for the .22.
Only Skout Epoch and Altaros m24!...
hey can you get me a m24 ? lol

Buy American. Best value for money for sure.
