BRISTOL LHS - VOD88K - TEST DRIVE

Last Friday, 9 November we visited Ward Jones of High Wycombe, he has had Terry Bennetts Bristol LHS for 2 and half years now, it has been undergoing an thorough restoration, it recently acheived its first UK MOt since about 1984, so quite an acheivement, it still has some way to go, but last week was teh first time we could legally take her out on the UK roads, so went up and took her out for a run of about 35 miles or so, all went well, now just the last few jobs up there before she returns to the Westycountry for interior and exterior finishing.

Very nice! Brings back happy memories of travelling on VOD125K (WN1255) with the Western National Preservation Group years ago. I look forward to seeing her on the Rally circuit.

Thanks for this, reminds me of rides on WN LHs in Somerset many years ago. Shame most modern buses all sound the same, unlike 70s/ 80s when you could put me on a bus blindfold and I could tell what I was on (LH, VR, RE, National)
