My wife got into a high speed crash with a much heavier bigger and heavier vehicle in her 2012 Sentra and I'm sold on this little cars safty. It did a 5 star rating on absorbing the crash. No disstortion as far as the interior of the cab.

I like my 2015 Sentra but have few problems ...not sure how long that CVT transmission will last...have only 30000 miles driven so far...otherwise nice car...LED on radio does not show anything now...left read door won't unlock from inside, trunk lids opens too easy if the FOB is in your pocket and pressed lightly..
The sun blocker extension is to use when you put it to block the sun from the side, so you open the extension and cover the very end side of your eyes when driving in the sunset or sunrise... BTW, I have the same car in Brazil, but the SL Version with moon roof and here, Nissan sell it with a MR20DE angine (2.0L) and it´s very fast and offers the best mileage within it´s category... Nice review!

AC cold 🥶 too. I got it brand new. I like the power steering of it. It’s very light. But I don’t have it anymore. I returned it already. I can’t afford monthly payment. When loose my Job. It’s good car.
i have same but cannot unlock left rear door when inside ..even after pressing children safety button in front....also LED orange light in radio dim to almost bright but now now even showing ...don't know what's wrong...have only 30000 miles so far.
I rented one of these just recently. With 2 adults, 2 kids, and luggage it really struggled to keep 70 mph going up and down highways. There were many many times I literally had to floor it and it still wouldn't go over 65. I don't think it was the engine I think it was the CVT. At least the stereo was decent.

Pretty good video. Although I would recommend a 2015 or 2016 Hyundai Elantra SE. It gives you way more standard features and it's more durable. Plus it has a nicer body style. Ohh yeah... did I mention cheaper with all the factory discounts.
They should make leather seats standard along with full automatic windows. Its cheapo if the driver's seat and windows are automatic and the passenger's side is manual. That is really skimpy for car manufactures to do that.
My impression.... This car is a compact but its tall at the top. This makes for pretty good room but the stock suspension is about an inch and a half too high. The center of gravity would handle better if the car was a tad lower. The suspension itself is ok and the car feels like it glides in a straight line and over potholes but the car is not nimble or agile by any means and the handling does not inspire confidence. If you do manage to get it over 90mph a strange whistling sound will come from the passenger side (sort of like a air leak from the design) Looks wise, its well to do. Not exciting but not ugly by any means. Interior features are surprisingly good when you get to the SV trim and up and the seats are comfortable. The engine is weak and underpowered but the gas mileage is satisfactory even in constant sport mode. That is the car's biggest flaw along with Nissan's version of the CVT transmission used in these cars. Do your own research on the CVT. Some people don't have issues but a lot do. Overall its a decent, safe car.
I bought this sentra a week ago...same model...my only problem is that the acceleration pedal is weird...seems like u have to press on the pedal full on for it to move...where as to other cars u barely touch the pedal and it moves which makes it easier. .did this sentra feel like that to u???

These newer Sentra look nothing compare to the 04-06 B15 Sentra I got a 04 Sentra SER Spec V and it's so reliable it never left me stranded the only major repairs I did was when I first bought it because the orginal owner didn't maintain it I'm the second owner and I got into an accident last month right now I can't open the right front passenger door due to the fender being bent from the accident someone drove into me in a parking lot and it makes a dragging noise when I'm slowing down at a stop I was told the front right strut and front right spring is bent the inner and outer tie rod end was bent when I had the accident but its been replaced the B15 SER Spec V looks way better then these newer generation Sentra

Just bought a black SV last week and love it. Drive on Eco a lot and when you push sport gives it quite a boost.

Not all Sentras come with the CVT. There is a 6spd, which makes the car much better to drive.
