If he was contacting the manufacturers directly to lend him a car he would be able to take it out for a spin. By the looks of it, he contacted his local dealership after studying the car, and they got some porters to put the vehicle into an area where it would be blocked in so they could give him the keys.

I remember when we went to Yosemite in August 2021 we rented a fully-loaded 2015 Nissan Sentra from Enterprise at SFO. That thing was BEAUTIFULLY fuel-efficient, almost 42 miles per gallon on the highways! And like 35 on country roads and in Yosemite!
"Fuel economy is okay at best." Really? I thought fuel economy of the Sentra was one of its great strengths.
pp312 It's bs my sentra never went above 25mpg on freeways with no traffic. Makes you wonder where all that gas is going since it has a miserable 130hp and miserable acceleration.
after 3 years i averaged 33.4 mpg
Lionel X, I had a 2015 sentra SV, I complained it a lot of times because of low mpg, the dealership said there’s no problem, they said if there’s a problem.. it will show on the computer😭,they said maybe it is just new and it is smoothening yet. Then one day I changed my Service Advisor, he said the battery is bad. They changed the battery and my mpg got up 25mpg! (Btw, that time, my sentra is only 1 1/2 years old 7,000 miles)

The mpg is amazing on the Sentra it gets 35-40 miles on highway

I think the sentra is saposed to be leaning toward fuel economy and practicality and that's just fine to me to ruminess ? Its a compact car any more foom it will no longer be a compact sadan the frame would probably have to be wider or stratched this is still a great review
I really wish this trim level had a leather seat option.
My 15 SR does come with leather

How is the fuel economy okay a best? It's within 1mpg of everything else in the class. Only the Mazda 3 gets better fuel economy without the use of "Aero models" like every compact cars have, including the Sentra.
I have one. Love it. Loads of backseat legroom. Last tank was 42.4 mpg. Awesome. Reviews all say not very quick but if you like the mpg who gives a shit. Drive it in sport mode for speed but you will give up some mpg.
+rottenrowdie how do you get your mpg so high? the highest I've gotten mine was up to 29 mpg on ECO mode
+Ayee SevenSixO It depends on how you drive and the roads. Myself, I work 30 mins out, all flat, so I too get 43 mpg.

@@bluntedpeace still really liking it. i am a bit worried about it's longevity as i bought it with almost 70k miles, but i am young and don't plan on putting too many more miles on it.

Joe Kings I feel like this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I’ve had mine for a while now. It’s pretty quick. Loud as fuck. I race my friend all the time. The only complaint I get is the no ac in the back

$16000 out of the door for a SR...but insurance quote is higher than other compact sedan cause it is not a safe vehicle( ins.agent) . :(
hey i was wondering i recently purchased a sentra , i was wondering is it common for a Nissan Sentra to have the key indicators lights still flash even when u are near the car and dont have the key with u . i get that it will flash with a key since its indicating that u have a key. but i walked to my car without a key just to peek inside real quick through the window *car was locked and everything* and for the first time i noticed that the carkey indicator would flash even if i was away or close to the car wthout any keys. is that normal??

He made an error, it's a 2014. I work at a Nissan Store, and we haven't received any 2015 Sentras yet. I own a Sentra, also and I love my car. It's a 2014 S Trim with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission. The SR is a very pleasing little car

How can you think it's a great car unless it's the first -and only- car you drive? I had an old Yaris 2008 before the sentra. It has better mpg, better acceleration, better brakes and it's far cheaper than the Sentra...

I have one now it’s trash !! It decreases in speed going up the slightest hill especially in eco mode even with it off does the same thing !! You have to put it in sport mode or overdrive to be able to climb slight hills !! It’s great on gas I must say !! it needs a bigger a engine it has no power whatsoever !! There are v4’s out there way better then this crap in which I paid 18.5 for !!

ummmm....the acceleration is pretty good, especially with the sport button. some people may not know how to drive well... Plus I get 32 city and have reached 40 highway...

Lionel X, hahaha!😂😂😂. I changed my 2015 nissan sentra SV with the 2017Altima SR it’s still the same 0-60 in 9 seconds. The only difference is I’m paying more now every month!

To much money for something that don't even have leather seats or 200 bhp. And what's up with all theses cars with 1.somthing liter engine. I swear it's like no makers like hp anymore.
This is more of a fuel efficient car then a race car they had the sentra ser spec v but I think they stopped making that model now and they might make the nismo spec v with a 1.8 supercharger in it if I remember correctly
Sentras are for comfort and fuel economy. If you want something sportier get an mazda3, dodge dart or ford focus
I don't care for dodge or Mazda. I rather get a vw. The Jetta or golf have around 200 horsepower or more still get really good fuel mileage if not better than these and you can get a diesel
And you can get a Dodge Charger Chrysler 300 with 300 horsepower I still get 31 miles to the gallon
That's why I said some makers just don't like horse power
I would buy a Corolla or a Sentra...No Honda for me!
The Sentra has a larger trunk, better MPG and a quieter interior. If you're in the San Gabriel Valley area, I'll be happy to take you on a test drive and help you get a great deal on a Sentra at Alhambra Nissan.

I have this car and i purchased it brandnew and it was confirmed today that it needs a new transmission by the Nissan Dealership its $3400 for a new transmission and $1700 to put it in.....Do not buy this car the cvt transmissions are no good and they wont recall these cars btw my car is a 2015

@@gluckystrong3336 Sorry it took me a year to reply back but needless to say the dealership comped my transmission even with being out of warranty because I pitched a mean one at the dealership I purchased it from in front of new and potential customers in regards to how your treated after you sign on the dotted line your just another customer,I got rid of my Nissan back in March I sent it back to my lienholder and my acct with them was charged off after I explained how I was aware at the trouble they were in and my acct fitted the description to contact the attorney general in regards to satander consumer usa taking advantage of people so they didn't want the spotlight from my local news station and it's not on my credit report

I hate this car with passion. Miserable acceleration, mpg and breaks. The freaking camaro has a better mpg than this car. Nissan lies blatantly on the mpg, mine never went above 25mpg in spite of only driving on the freeway with no traffic.
Even flooring the damn car in "sport" mode everyone would pass me. Most humiliating driving experience of my life.
I had more fun driving the Toyota Yaris which is cheaper, has less hp, but manages better mpg, acceleration and breaking.
The Sentra suck in a way I couldn't believe was even possible.
Lost $3000 selling this car less than a year after buying it but I don't regret losing money to get rid of this piece of junk

Acceleration is necessary in highway situations for safety.

I modded this thing as much as I could without going to the point where I'd break the CVT.... It's still disappointing. It's just not a fun car to drive but it looks nice.
