Pouring Hot Lead, Auction Fun, Finishing Up IMCA Stock Car!

- Off season is about done, and we are wrapping up work on our IMCA Stock Car! We'll show you some fun stuff this week as we sell off our last year's car door at a charity auction, visit another shop with another local new Stock Car driver, and pour some hot lead!
Hello, I'm Charlie... a guy well past the age where you should jump in a stock car and go slide around on dirt, but when you've dreamt of doing this since you were a kid watching your uncle win races all over the Midwest in the 70's and 80's, you gotta give it a shot while you can. Did I mention I have no idea what I'm doing and not a good mechanic??? Join us as we chase a dream in the IMCA Stock Car division at our local Iowa & Wisconsin dirt tracks. This old guy likes watching you younger guys working on your race cars it takes me about twice as long to do some of the things you guys do can't wait to see some of the videos with you guys running the car but y'all be safe and have fun

Currently in the same boat of jumping in a stock car and racing. Only difference is I have no one help me and nervous is a understatement. Probably be at some of the same tracks y’all go to being based out of eastern Iowa

That engine was caused by not Nutting and bolting in-between races. When I raced and after washing the car. Up in the air it went and every single nut and bolt was checked ✔️
I actually put a new gasket in it and tightened it up before the feature.
Was that lead dug up from the backyard? It should be authentic Lafayette County lead.
Now that's funny! Not like we aren't kinda known for that around here huh?!

Good part is this time of year, the fluffy white stuff doesn't typically last long. Hopefully on track and out of the bar band scene SOON!!! :-)
