If you click on Gallery and then click the Collection button, you should have a Manage collection option where you can choose which folder is displayed under the gallery. If you go to that directory, do you see a folder called documents? And did you double check the current location to make sure it already hasn't been moved?

Microsoft makes sure you can't get Onedrive off your computer. This is making me want to take my computer and throw it at Microsoft's Onedrive Servers, wait for them to fix it just to fucking do it again.

@@OnlineComputerTips I‘m not using Onedrive. When I click on the desktop Videos icon (for example) I get the message (problem with shortcut. The item Videos that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?)

I have seen that before and sometimes you will have the Location tab when you check the properties of the folder in the quick access section at the upper left and sometimes you need to go to the actual folder at C:\users\username. You can try something like this to see if it brings the location tab back. When you save to Documents for example, the file will go to the new location since you changed the path of the Documents folder itself. If you choose the option to move the files to the new location when changing the path, then it should copy anything over there.

If they are opening from the actual path such as C:\Users\yourname\Documents then it would probably be an issue. Nice guitar videos by the way. Actually bymistake i changed the location of music folder into my hdd. Now whenever i open music folder it open my hardisk drive. What should i do now ? How to restore it to previous location.
Just go back to the properties and change the folder back to its original location which should be C:\Users\username\Music where username is the name of your user account.
In windows 7 there was a genius option where you can literally add other folders with the orginal location, thats gone here..i had 3 folders linked as my documents and its super easy...
@@OnlineComputerTips no, in a normal windows 7 if you right click "my documents" there will be an option to add(link) multiple location folders to the my documents folder, so if you open my documents you will see multiple sections if you have added other folders.. but in recent windows there's only move option which means all contents in original documents will be moved to target folder and only that folder is shown..

Are you using OneDrive to sync your files? If so then it makes its own documents and pictures folders etc. so that might be part of your problem. If you look at the properties of your documents folder for example and there is OneDrive in the path then that is the case. If you don't want to use OneDrive, then I would follow the instructions on the video to remove your account from it and get things back in their original folders and then you can change their locations to the new ones after that.

Thanks for this video. I have a brand new PC with an SSD and much larger hard drive, so moving large folders to the hard drive is a real bonus!

You can use this method to change your folder from the E drive back to the default location if that is what you are trying to do.

How about if I want that new documents location to be called something other than "Documents"? Like say I want it to be called "A_Documents".

Sure, just make the A_Documents folder first and then use the same procedure.
thing is if anything is deleted in c/documents it will also be deleted in d/documents. Its just like a clone folder i dont want that
If you set it up correctly, the new location will replace the old location so there won't be duplicate data.
only thing worked for me was to change the pathing from regedit itself. Might make a video about it
