I just lowered my 1978 Chevy G10 Shorty van and I used the 2 and 1/2 inc CCP offset drop spindles part number DLS0S00 because I did not want fender rubbing and it worked great no issues. The offset spindles pull the tire and wheel in towards the engine 3/4th of an inch. I did have to trim the lower control arm drip rales on both sides and I took a little off the spindle at the tie rod because it knocked off my wheel balance weight. I also used 1 inch drop springs part number LCSE48F so far they only dropped it 2 and 1/4th inch It will likely settle a little more but I doubt I will get the full advertised 3 and 1/2 inches. But if it does I know I will not have any rubbing issues. Subscribe to my Chanel to see the install video. I will be uploading it soon.
Hi David, I'm leaving the rear stock. We've got great roads here. No issues so far. AirLift sells replacement nozzles and hose kits just in case. I have an extra set.
@@vanningmike Cool. Ok. I run my own shop and fixin up a 90 with a two foot high top, frig, sink heater etc. on the side. I just got the new jasper engine and transmissions coupled and running today. It needs much more work but looking forward to it.. g20

Thanks Rick, I'll check it out.
Howdy, which shocks are those? Very cool 👌🏻
Those are Q1 shocks. Thanks!
That's the front. What bout the rear? Also I think those lines exposed to road hazards is not so good.

I put airlift in my 99 E350 back in 2004, it eventually rotted.
How many years did they last?
