There is only one shop in our State - not alot of qualified mechanics - the ones who work there always try to take the easy way out by doing total replacement instead of trying to fix the problem - which costs us more - its a rip. These ATVs are far from tough- Right?
Just ordered the 3735755 gear, really hoping your customer goes through with this because your first two videos in this series are exactly what I needed to do the job up to this point.
Hi! Great video! I've faced the same problems with both my ATVs (Polaris Crew and Polaris Ranger) and incurred significant repair costs. Given the dusty environment here, do you have any maintenance advice or driving practices to recommend that might help prevent such damages?
The biggest problem I see around at my shop is that nobody service the transmission when they supposed to. So my recommendation is to make sure to change your fluids and use the recommended fluids. Thanks so much and thanks for watching. Don’t forget to like and subscribe!!
I always clean it after I disassemble A transmission. That way I can clean not only the outside but the inside as well. Worn bearings and gears get into the transmission fluid and needs to be cleaned out. Thanks for watching
I just took mine in and they say the trans needs replacing $4800 for the trans before labor. Its a corporate ATV and we all know we are getting gouged and screwed over - but we need it fixed. Today’s generation - too lazy to fix the problem - rather replace the whole thing. The trans works in every gear except reverse where it grinds before going into gear. Go figure.
My goodness, the transmission is fixable and our two video will show you how to do it. You’re right in today world they don’t want to fix it. They want to sell you a new one and keep the old trans so the can fix it and sell it to the next customer as a new rebuild trans. It’s more money for them in the long run. Go figure! Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe to our channel.
Our dealer just raised the shop labor prices from $80 an hour to $120 an hour. That's why i am here and dusting off the toolbox. Thanks.

Thanks for watching!! We have the part also coming. Once we receive it we will make a video on how to install and put the transmission back together.

Would a broken spring under the shift selector plate cause any problems?
The spring helps the gear shifter from jumping out of gear.
Thanks for watching!!
Awesome. Well I have took my trans apart today thanks to your video! We shall see if I can get it back together!!
