Honestly with the amount of extra AoE Spriests have gotten in SoD I kind of think Blackout might actually be preferable to Tap since both are only effective against trash packs and between sham rage/Pally buffs/Martyrdom, Shadowform mana efficiency, and fiend/dispersion I'd think potentially stunning several mobs during big trash pulls goes farther than than the occasional tap regen.
For P4 I kind of had this idea of making a heal spec, but pick blackout and use the dagger of eternal shadow and then spam mind sear in dungeons for high stun uptime and infinite mana as the mitigation of keeping mobs stunned + doing damage has to be more valuable than just healing. But then still be fully capable of healing when needed. Damn shame we can't down rank mind sear though :c
Quick question i play spriest but not sure why we putting 5 points in wand specialisation? my understanding is that from the rotation we use as spriests, we dont ever use our wands so wouldnt we put it in unbreakable will?
Quick note here. If you have a healing priest in the raid, they should be running eye of the void because divine aegis is horrible. Pain and suffering saves you a global which most certainly makes a large difference in damage imo
you should never open your rotation up with dots, mind blast is your hardest hitting spell, need to open with that. i don't get why guides always tell you start fights with dots.
@@downs3627 just the worst dps ( literally) in the game... And no, VE ONLY on party is not enough to make up for the bad dps. It needs twisted fate to work for mind spike , make eye of the void ( the pet) DO something cus right now all it does is just putting a standard warlock curse.. lmao And finally make VE raid wide.

you are right, discipline talents are useless atm. Go for spell warding in holy tree (for raiding)
Or to get improved fortitude to help out buffing the raid 😅
