as a ballerina has her solo moment under light and crowd, the transitions from letter to letter , as if the dancer is alone and in love with her last movements and the story keeps unfolding as yo whip into more turns and grace. the tip and ink love you, and you it. your gift to us is noticed and appreciated. i thank you and our lord for blessing us all with your gifts for us. happy flowing and writing dear. your just as amazing as this wonderful and gentle music that seems to follow your fingers as you compose this symphony of bright and enlightened lettering. a seasoned artist , you are . thank u

Calligraphy Masters beautiful! I'm learning, is there a trick to get the random swirls and added flair right? I have my basic letters down, text book I can copy the added flair is where I'm struggling.
Recently, I have been prepping my nibs with alcohol-based hand sanitizer. I rub with a bit of sanitizer, rinse, and dry with a paper towel. Works great. I mostly use vintage nibs I acquired in the 1980s when they were available at reasonable prices.
I just started out practicing calligraphy and whenever I feel my neurons are going to pop like popcorn because of a failed stroke, I watch things such as this one and, recharged with inspiration, I keep going.

I have been told that so many times, but it's the time and dedication more than the Talent (not that I'm that good to start with), I find the hardest thing is finding something to write and yes I have tried copying poems and lyrics but , But !, here we go with the excuses, I'm not after any particular style, just good flowing hand writing, I used to spend hours marking out writing paper with lines only to not put pen to paper.

I don't believe in TALENT... i think it's all about practice and dedication! YES it takes time, but just write... if you not sure about style start with 1..try another till you find what you enjoy mostly!! It's a long journey but a great one too... Good luck & thanks for watching :)

This is absolutely beautiful. Handwriting is a dying art and should be taught in schools. A lot of young adults I've seen still don't know what cursive writing is and write like infants. Technology has a lot to answer for.
