Before buying, just confirm with the seller that the product you're getting is PVC free. You don't want to store your coins in anything containing PVC.
Great point. I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen nice coins wrecked by PVC damage.
Lighthouse products are high quality,PVC free and beautiful
Lighthouse holders contain PVC.. ruined whole collection. not trusting them.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the 2x2 coin flip with adhesive is a good way to store (seeing it has adhesive)
We don't recommend it because the chemicals in the adhesive may react with the coins.

I have heard those paper 2"x 2" holders are unsuitable for long-term use; is this correct?
The 2x2s themselves are great for long term use as both the Mylar used in the film and cardboard are inert! However, make sure to keep them in a dry and relatively temperature stable environment, as if exposed to humidity the staples could react and in turn react with the coins. As for temperature, any expansion and contraction due to temperature change could allow the 2x2 to let in air or humidity which could effect the coin.
