Any advise on where to order good snap weights?
@spikecamden9860 I buy mine at scheels. They are actually a scheels brand and they are best I have used
Good video. What oz weight do you run?
@@travisstrickland4638 I run 3 to 5 depending on speed and depth
Are you using braid or mono?
@bobosterday3350 I use brand. Not a fan of mono and plus snap weight will not slide on brand
@@ZaneSeelyeOutdoors I use snap weight and floating cranks a lot in the Fall on Francis Case!
@@bobosterday3350 they are my favorite way to pull cranks. Very effective
what is your favorite weight of snap weight ?
@fj55tyrant too be honest the scheels brand one. They come in a pack with the snap
HOW MANY FEET OF WATER YOU IN? CAN YOU USE SNAP WTS WITH A DEEP DIVING CRANKBAIT? FISH L ERIE VERY DEP 65 TO 100 FT.
@DEVILDOG1964 at 24 feet of water at 2 mph I only have 47 feet of line out so yes roughly 150 feet of line out to get that deep with a 5 Oz weight
@@DEVILDOG1964 and I'm just guessing
@@ZaneSeelyeOutdoors THX THERE ARE SHALLOW AND DEEP DIVER CRANKS BOTH ARE OK TO USE WITH SNAP WEIGHTS I GUESS. THAT WAS MY QUESTIION.
@DEVILDOG1964 oh yes of course sorry i didn't a.swer that! Depending on water clarity you could run it 10 to 15 feet behind the weight so doesn't hit bottom as hard if that makes sense
@@ZaneSeelyeOutdoors ERIE IS MOSTLY CLEAR WATER ZEBRA MUSSELS. EARLY FISH IN 40-50 FT NOW 65 TO 120 FT BUT A LOT SUSPENDED 65 FT DOWN ETC.
Try a hot n tot with the snap weights sometimes.
@@danward2490 I honestly have never used them
@@ZaneSeelyeOutdoors it’s a old bait but it is like the salmo in that it runs erratically. Give them a try.
At 50 feet back they will run 9 feet, add a 2 oz snap weight and add 2 more feet of line for every foot deeper you want to go.
@danward2490 oh hell ya I remember now. A buddy if mine use to use them a long time ago
