Some great catching. Man you got that down to a science. Never even touching the fish. So good. I hadn’t been in a long time… and went the very next day. Must have been close to 50 boats between the Cove and also at Shark Bayou. Didn’t hardly catch any. Ugh. I’ve been spoiled by those redfish in the marshes elsewhere. Good luck ahead! Cheers.
@@ThePentUpAngler Thanks! I try to match the hatch (shrimp vs pogies vs mullet) and try different colors depending on sun, clouds, and water color. Usually can pin it down to white/chartreuse or firetiger. However I’ve been using the Matrix lime light for a few weeks with excellent results in all conditions.
It has been an awesome Speck bite in the east side of the state this year, limits of Specks last four kayak trips. I also enjoy trolling swim baits from a peddle kayak for Specks.
